“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

Food:
I have had the orecchiette (brunch) and the lasagne (dinner). I have also tried the chicken milanese panini. The food really is quite spectacular here: I love that you can really taste how high quality and textured the pasta is. For seemingly simple dishes, they do an amazing job at the flavor. They have good wine selection as well with some affordable options. There is also a happy hour as well to look out for!

Service:
The waiters here are quite friendly and very attentive. They regularly ask if you need anything, and they’ll come do water refills as needed. No complaints at all.

Ambiance:
Located on a street with a good amount of foot traffic but is not that loud. It’s very comfortable outside, and they have seating indoors as well (although I exclusively choose to sit outdoors here). There is a clean restroom downstairs as well.“

“Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! The entire staff from front and back of house are very friendly. So glad we found them and looking forward to going back! We HIGHLY recommend them!“

“It was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Harlem. There were no tables, and we took the last two seats at the bar. While we waited, I surprisingly felt at home. The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. I have dietary restrictions, and I was surprised to see that everything from the exquisite tortillas to the delicious tres leches dessert was prepared right there, gluten-free and preservative-free. “If you’re in the Bronx and love Vietnamese food, you are in for a treat. This place is easily one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in New York. The pho is so flavorful and filling especially with the beef and pickled vegetables. The rice and pork with fresh vegetables is so good. “We came on a Thursday right before the 4th. We were immediately seated and noticed the place was a little warm. Not a big deal because it is one of the hottest days this summer. It's almost 100. We got the High Mixed appetizer and the chicken pad Thai. The sampler was good. Spring rolls were good and the dumplings were good. Couldn't do the crab for seafood allergy but the fourth item, we didn't like. It was the texture and didn't have the flavor I was expecting based on the presentation. Service was ok. They had a little bit of a crowd and got them out of there promptly. The pad Thai was really good. It had the perfect amount of flavor and it was light. We needed it to be light because it is hot outside and we still have a lot of walking to do. Overall, it was good. That last item on the High Mixed can go.“
