“This is a long overdue review of a holiday party held at The Clubhouse. Brian was extremely responsive and flexible in working out open bar options and a menu of appetizers and for us. We were a group of around 30 women, so we did not have the place to ourselves completely, but Brain let us have the majority of the room, keeping a few tables closest to the door open for other patrons. It was a Sunday evening, after the brunch crowd, so it was fairly quiet aside from our group. We were able to decorate the tables a bit, but the restaurant was also nicely decorated for the holidays. Brian gave us a very reasonable price and the food was excellent! The bartenders were friendly and kind, and overall, it was a wonderful night. This is the second year in a row we have held our event at The Clubhouse. I highly recommend The Clubhouse if you are looking for a fun, casual gathering spot for a group.“

“I stopped by yesterday afternoon to get some bagels for my daughter. Unfortunately they had closed 10 minutes before I got there. A gentleman came out of the store and said sorry we’re closed. You missed us by about 10 minutes. I told him I had just left a doctor’s appointment and was trying to get gluten free bagels for my daughter because she really enjoyed their bagels. He stopped and said he had three in the store. He went back into the store and brought me not only the 3 bagels but some frozen ones as well. His name is Mike and he is the owner. He didn’t have to go back into the store but he did. He made my day. There really are kind people in this world. Thank you Mike! You have a customer for life.“

“The local TGIFridays I had been going to for 10+ years closed down. I decided to travel abit further out to go to Friday’s “one last time.” But my server Fabia changed my mind. She was friendly and funny. Told me about recent updates to the menu and the food was as good as always. My experience made me realize that traveling a bit further wont be so bad after all.“

I had the pork chop and the first bite was all I needed to know I’d be back. It was outrageously good. “First time coming here to try the hub it was amazing. The experience for me was top 10. The people at service are very respectful polite and the customer service was top tier. I appreciate them. And the food was banging on top of that loaded fries was amazing. The burgers had a bunch of flavour. The only thing that I’m upset about is that they’re not on Uber Eats And that they don’t have other locations, no restaurant, but hopefully Inshallah they expand great food great service And would love to come here again on many occasions in the future“

“I experienced Nettie’s for the first time last evening. My dining experience was excellent from arrival to departure. The food was “DELISH!” The owner was welcoming & hospitable, the service was good, and the music and atmosphere wea awesome! I am so pleased and proud to have a “Black” owned establishment where you can dine in Queens in a tasteful environment, supporting our entrepreneurs and our community. “I have been a customer of Austin’s Ale House for many years, I know them well they know me well. This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. Since the taste test was so aggressive we may need to supplement what’s left with a few cheese omelets 🤣. We enjoyed it so much there was much talk about it becoming the new family tradition. “Wanted to try a new spot for brunch w/the Mrs and this restaurant DID NOT disappoint. It was 11:30AM and the professionalism and greeting still felt like it was an evening date vibe. My wife had the shrimp tacos, I had the duck tacos and our friend had the cauliflower soup and the beef salad. We always enjoy our meals eating at the West End Cafe. We would not hesitate to recommend it for weekend nights. You necessarily need a reservation.“

“I'd like to give kudos to Nick and his staff at Veranda Restaurant & Cafe. We held my daughter's bridal shower brunch for 22 people there today under the pergola. The food was excellent, and the waitstaff led by Daniel was impeccable! I highly recommend this venue.

Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to cilantro, so they prepared guacamole specially for me without this ingredient.

“We are “regular” diners at Thyme. Thyme is definitely one of our favorite local restaurants. The food is delicious and Thyme is a very popular and excellent local restaurant. Actually, we often eat the same kind of food most of the time. The food is fresh and prepared perfectly. We often meet friends at Thyme as it is easy to talk and have conversations before and during our meals. I definitely recommend Thyme for the delicious food and as a welcoming restaurant.“

The flatbread starters are distinctive--at least for a person with an allergy to gluten. The ambience is generally fine. I generally prefer very quiet restaurants. Indeed, I would prefer a room for only my party. However, I am able to hear other people in a party of four with little difficulty in the this restaurant.“

“Lovely neighborhood cafe in a beautiful, secluded beach community. They have a convenient parking lot, and the atmosphere is serene. The food is great, and the portions are huge. The wait staff is hard working and do their best to accommodate you. It's a nice spot to bring older folks as there are no steps and seating is easy.“

“My family wanted to try a new place for dinner this weekend and Jamesons was it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting so we felt comfortable the moment we walked in. Our waitress Sarah was great...super friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered the French Onion soup (excellent) and Pretzel Sticks (ok) as appetizers. The French Onion soup ($12) was very delicious but the pretzel sticks ($12) we probably wouldnt order again. There were 2 Pretzels to the order which my wife and I thought was a little pricey for what they were. My 7 year old ordered the chicken fingers and fries which were better than I had expected them to be. My wife ordered the Fish and Chips ($25) - super tasty, very fresh, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Reuben ($24) super yummy which was a special for the evening. My wife and I both agreed after sharing that both meals were excellent. Key Lime Pie and a cappuccino finshed us off both of which did not disappoint. Overall, food and presentation were top notch and the service was excellent ---Thanks again Sarah! My wife and I both felt it was a little pricey but we would definitely go back.“

“Just had an RVC fire department brunch here. Jackie Amato is amazing as the event coordinator, patient, kind and so wonderful to work with. We had the brunch buffet and omelet station. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff and servers were outstanding, helpful and so genuinely kind. They were so willing to help set up our centerpieces and couldn't do enough to make everything so special. Our bartender Victor was off the charts amazing. The room was beautiful and bright.
