“We were on our way home from NYC and had had real NY bagels during our stay. Our traveling companions wanted to get some bagels to take home so we stopped here. These are not NY bagels. Remember to get your bagels before you leave the city.“

“On a stop over in New York, we decided to go find a good bagel place. We are so happy we came upon the Traditional Bagel Café. Staff was friendly, the bagels were delicious, and the food was made to order very quickly. The reason you gave the atmosphere of four is because it was cold in there because their front is all windows and in the middle of the winter it’s hard to keep in insulated. Otherwise it’s an easy place to stop and shop! I would come back again.“

I’ve been a customer here for a couple years now and I’ve never been disappointed with my orders.The ladies who work there make my day with how happy they look to see me and chat with me. Cash only definitely makes it less convenient, but they’ve got an ATM right there and it’s worth the minor trouble. Anyone who says the food is pricey has no clue what they’re talking about - average sandwich is like 7-8 dollars. That’s far cheaper than what you’d get in NYC which is like 20 minutes away, especially for the quality. I’ve only sat to eat a couple times, but it’s about what you’d expect from a small bagel place. It’s not the best for a proper sit down meal, but it feels cozy in there and I’ve struck up conversations with other customers a few times. Bagel was grilled which was a nice change to a toaster. The place is clean and it near. Food Town. Plenty of parking. Will be back. Note they close at 2. Monday to Saturday. But they are planning on serving lunch open to 4“

“Neighborhood staple, in the City, too. Pastrami, Egg and Cheese on an Everything Egg Bagel, BEC (Bacon, Egg and Cheese), and TEC (Turkey, Egg and Cheese) on Wheat. All housemade Bagels so they're fresh and ready to go. They do other breakfast items, if needed: Pancakes, Homefries, etc.

Plenty of street parking.

Service is congenial and as swift as can be.“

The staff member asked us to wait while they did the math and saw if there was any leftover. He so kindly brought the bagels and spreads to our car and was INCREDIBLY generous. “This neighborhood deli is packed with character and options. I ordered a classic lox and scallion cream cheese—fresh, briny, and generously portioned. The scallion cream cheese had the perfect tang and herbal kick, complementing the lox beautifully. I also grabbed a cup of their Oreo pudding—rich, sweet, and creamy without being overly heavy. A nostalgic treat done right.

Service was friendly and warm—the staff took time to introduce different menu items and made the experience feel personal. Between the massive chalkboard menus, fresh baked goods, and deli staples, there’s clearly something for everyone.“

“It’s a little corner bagel shop and this was superb at many directions.
I had just a quick breakfast and mine was a bagel with CC and another one with butter.
One for later obviously but with a coffee add up only to $8.
Bagels were how old school type was crispy and chewy.
Just a regular cup of coffee tasted so good much better than trendy chais like Starbucks.
Totally satisfied with the food and drink and services by the guys.

“I’ve been too many bagel places, and my obsession is definitely Bagels and Bialys, this spot is amazing. There are numerous Bagel spots and I have been so many of them. They absolutely do not live up to this place. I used to live in Queens and I moved to Suffolk County and I could not find a Bagel spot. Now I come here on my commute, and it is absolutely worth coming off of the Long Island expressway, and driving around to get a bagel here. The Bagels come straight of the oven and you can see them being made. They have a crispy crunch on the outside and sre soft and chewy on the inside, and I have tried about every flavor of bagel, and every single one is excellent. Please drive by the chain stores and come straight here. You will not regret it.“

“Bagels are fresh, and cream cheese taste good. Toasted bagel was not burnt but toasted just right. Asked for black coffee no sugar and it was fresh. There was a line and service was fast and good. Definitely a great bagel place in Riverdale.“

At first, I thought this alarming amount of sodium was divided among all 6 in one packageBut, in rereading it I realized I had been mistaken! Why is it necessary to pose such a health risk to your consumers, who seem to have focused only on taste, is just incredulous! I hope you would reconsider production in a more healthy range in the near future so that I could purchase again, without having to dump them as I've had to do. “One of the top bagel locations not just on Long Island but in all of New York. Doughy, warm, and really tasty bagels. Their get a dozen + 3 free deal is pretty solid, a great go-to for work functions, but I find their cream cheese to be a bit over priced. Still, I’ve always had a consistently wonderful experience with Manhasset Bagels.“

“Good bagel shop here. $9 for a BEC which is pretty standard. Friendly staff and a clean establishment. The bagels are very fluffy, it’s almost like eating a loaf of bread which is a bit too fluffy for me. Full menu of sandwiches and different spreads and meats available.“

“I have been a long time customer, since the early 80’s. For the first time I had lunch at the Hot Bar and met the new executive chef Chris Smith while I was serving myself. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and he was so friendly and helpful. Kudos to Stews for continually hiring outstanding employees and welcome to Chris.“

“Had promised the SO that I would take him for breakfast sandwiches on a Sunday (our favorite). Timing was not great as we got there after the kitchen grill was closed (won't make that mistake again). We were still able to have an egg salad sandwich, cream cheese bagel and a toasted blueberry bagel. Great variety of bagels and they are delish! They also do an impressive selection of sandwiches. Monday to Friday there is usually a line out the door, but the service is very efficient and the line moves quickly. There are only a couple of 2 seater tables available inside to sit down.

Parking: Sundays and holidays are free parking. Bronxville is notorious for parking tickets so double check to be sure.“

“First time trying this spot out. Picked up a dozed bagels for a teenage sports team. Ordered plain and everything bagels with cream cheese. While I waited, there was a consistent line of what seemed to be regulars popping in to get their usual orders. The staff were efficient and courteous and got my order ready pretty quickly. I ordered a mini plain cream cheese bagel for myself to try out. I ended up eating the bagel on the way to the game. The cream cheese had partly melted on the bagel, which was toasty and delicious. I'm gonna go back and try a breakfast sandwich soon. This is a very small store, not tables to sit at, good choice of cream cheeses. They also had some good tea options that I could see on the back wall behind the counter.“

As vegetarians we went for some paninis but they were not making them anymore (again not sure if that day or if it's off the menu).
