“Standard NY bagel place. The neighborhood shop in Washington Heights. Crunchy and chewy, like a bagel should be. Had a slight chemical flavor to them. Maybe a weird batch...I'll still try them again.

Cream cheese flavors made on-site. You know because it's not mixed perfectly and there's still some chunks.

All in all, you know it's fresh here.“

It’s not fancy, but they’re the best bagels around and they’re not the most expensive either. The ladies work very hard. you don’t know that they have to fulfill some very big orders in the morning which take a lot of work. It’s very hot in there from the oven so some days they’re just drained. They don’t have the energy almost to smile, but believe me, there’s such sweet ladies. Sometimes you have to give people a benefit of the doubt. It’s not an easy job believe me and now they take credit and cash and I go early in the morning and I have the hottest best bagels and the spreads and other things are very good. yes it might seem expensive but you’re paying for the service and the convenience. Believe me if I ever moved from Scarsdale I would miss this place. Probably the most of everything. And Manny, the son is a sweetheart!“

“I have been a long time customer, since the early 80’s. For the first time I had lunch at the Hot Bar and met the new executive chef Chris Smith while I was serving myself. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and he was so friendly and helpful. Kudos to Stews for continually hiring outstanding employees and welcome to Chris.“

“Good bagel shop here. $9 for a BEC which is pretty standard. Friendly staff and a clean establishment. The bagels are very fluffy, it’s almost like eating a loaf of bread which is a bit too fluffy for me. Full menu of sandwiches and different spreads and meats available.“

“This is constructive criticism, but when one of those white girls makes my sandwich i immediately know that the sandwich is going to be mediocre. No matter how many times you tell them “TOAST THE BREAD” they don’t listen. Especially when it’s a hot sandwich, by the time you get home the sandwich morphs into mush & it’s a soggy mess. “I live in Austin, TX, and I love how I can have authentic New York bagels delivered to my front door. I am a new customer, and I love Just Bagels. I love their customer service, they answer their phone, and they answer my questions on Facebook. I will be using them again, and again. I love everything about them so far. My boyfriend is the bagel eater, and I ordered 2 dozen for him. The flavors we got were Everything, Sesame, Cinnamon Raisin, and Blueberry. He is in love with their blueberry bagels. Those are his favorite, but he loves them all. Thanks Just Babels for the wonderful bagels. We’ll be trying new flavors next time, but for sure blueberry again. :)“

Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside — just the way real New York–style bagels should be.
They have a great variety of spreads, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

“My kitchen Flavor is an amazing little gem of a restaurant with amazing food! I recently moved and wanted to order take out for a small gathering. I ordered 7 portions of different plates. A couple of my friends do not eat meat and they were accommodated with fish dishes. The portions where plenty and Celia the owner accommodated us with Xtra salad, rice and beans. Thank you Celia Cruz for the service of cooking and delivering the food exactly as you promised. It was all very delicious. ( Her empanadas are amazing!) We will definitely be a repeat customer. “If you're looking for good, quick, easy and really tasty food then this is the place. Plus they do an exceptional job with catering orders. I didn't rate the atmosphere because it's not really a full service restaurant but more a place where you sit and eat your food or take it out as well. But I did give 5 stars to the service because they are incredible and that definitely adds to the atmosphere of Long Island Bagel Cafe.“
