This was one of those “let’s stop for an orange juice” moments that quickly turned into trying every macaron flavour 😄. Such a fun spot for people‑watching while enjoying sweet treats 🍬. And just a heads‑up the mango macaron was absolutely delicious 🥭💛.

Épicerie Boulud offers delightful coffee and pastries, making it a convenient stop near Grand Central station. The friendly service and mouthwatering treats like croissants and muffins create a hidden gem worth revisiting. The warm atmosphere and iced latte ensure a pleasant experience for any visitor. The honey apple cake is a standout, with a comforting, homemade flavor reminiscent of classic apple cake. The selection of teas is also lovely. The coffee is reasonably priced and tasty, and the cakes are good value, though the portion size may vary.
Many customers appreciate the fabulous quality of the food, with some noting that each bite delivers pure pleasure. The grilled chicken sandwich on ciabatta, filled with sun-dried tomatoes, arugula, and goat cheese, has received praise for its freshness and generous filling, though it is on the pricier side.
However, some have found the seating area can feel awkward, with limited space and uncomfortable chairs. Additionally, there have been complaints about the use of plastic cups and paper pastry pockets for dine-in service, as it seems more tailored to takeout than dining in. Service experiences can vary, with some customers expressing disappointment due to language barriers.
