Public Fare

Food was fine. Prices aren't terrible but the signage is confusing. There's one sign that says "Bar & Grill" but there is one line for Bar and another for Grill. If you get on the wrong line, you have to wait 5-10mins before someone announces that there are two different lines. There should be a sign for Bar and another for Grill. Such a simple thing. Or why can't there be one line for both? That means if I want food and a drink, I have to wait in line TWICE, doubling my wait...read full review

Simple menus. Wine In a can was excellent (surprisingly smooth) Lager was great too (on tap). I didn't order any food items but other guests eating seems satisfied. Small area but pleasant and clean.

We were visiting Central Park and had made our way through the park and passed the Turtle Pond to the Delacorte Theatre when we discovered the Public Fare food kiosk. It was clearly very popular as there was a reasonable size queue for food and drinks which allowed us a little time to review the menu to decide what we wanted.
