“Bivona’s at Tasty’s was the first Italian meal we have relished since returning from a trip to Italy last summer. Tonight’s dinner was intimate, delicious and made with a love that few chefs can convey. The eggplant was perfect, the squash/ eggplant lasagna was incredible, filled with such flavor ! The freshest spinach salad using cubes of roasted squash, sliced apple and so much more. We will be back! Bivona’s is very special. Come one, Come all! Be greeted by Sam, the owner of Tasty’s. “This place was packed when we arrived but we were able to get a table. The staff here make this place the best place in the area. They are so kind, so friendly, and so wonderful. We got a house appetizer that was so good, I don't remember what I was eating but I wanted a full plate of it. They have sushi as well as some decent looking food from the kitchen. I had sushi and it was good. Fish felt fresh.”

She thought through everything and anticipated our needs. She also suggested the Kung Pao Wings which were excellent. Not only was the atmosphere and service amazing, but the food was as well. The serving sizes were very generous and well priced. We would absolutely come back here again.”

Stopped off there for breakfast on our way to Cooperstown with 2 Buddies and when Shakira was bringing our drinks, my one Buddy stretched and knocked over the drinks that Shakira was carrying and they spilled on her. Shakira didn’t bat an eyelash and laughed about it and remained extremely professional during that accident!!! Great service by her even with that incident happening!!! “Ever since moving to Newburgh, this has been my go-to restaurant. The menu is so varied, and everything tastes good. My favorite part is their consistency. It’s very hard to find a casual restaurant in this area that you can rely on for quality food. While I could nitpick that the pasta can be a bit oily and there is a lack of a good sandwiches on the menu, I love their cajun chicken alfredo, spanish style pizza, union taco salad, and they have some of the BEST nachos I’ve ever had. Plus the servers are so good at their job, so polite and friendly, and now they have turned into our good friends. Could not recommend more.”

“I ordered food for delivery, it came HOT and everything was so good as usual. I ordered steamed pork dumplings, boneless spare ribs and shredded pork with black bean sauce. My ribs were excellent, my dumplings pillowy soft and so flavorful! The shredded pork with black bean sauce usually comes with a different kind of pork and I was curious if they made a switch, but they assured me that they were just out of that particular kind of pork today and that was just a one time thing. My pork in black bean sauce was delicious REGARDLESS and their customer service over the phone was VERY kind and generous, they even offered me a remake or refund which I declined because everything was great. I love that this place stays old school with cash only. They have the best Chinese food around!!!”

The prices here are also a lot lower than other places. The owners have always been very nice to us and I love to support hardworking people. They are working from open till close everyday and their dedication is praiseworthy. Don’t let the location deter you from coming here, it’s worth it!”

“So we were driving through the town of Newburgh looking for a deli to grab a quick bite to eat and came across this place. They had a nice variety of breakfast sandwiches and what first impressed me was the sandwich was made FRESH! The coffee station, meticulous! Not a grain of sugar on the counters and the store was exceptionally clean. Now we tasted the sandwiches, which were done pretty quick by the way, and wow. Like wow! Fresh soft bread, toasted, order was perfect, sandwiches were hot and packaged neatly. My ONLY COMPLAINT is, sadly, they’re far from me. But I’d take that trip for good food, pleasant service and reasonable prices. If you’re passing through that area, definitely check them out!”

I don’t know how this happened as I was the only customer in the entire restaurant. I left the restaurant after I was told this. I would given this experience zero stars if possible. This visit was on 3/20/2025.

I returned to this restaurant 3/31/2025 my visit today was much better than the previous one. The food was great and the service provided was excellent. Today was a five star experience.”

Haven't had a lot of issues there but he's the reason I felt a need to post a rating. I really hope next time I see him there I hear he isn't still stuck doing that.”

“10/10! First and foremost, this place is so squeaky clean you could eat off the floors. The service staff is terrific and the food is out of this world. Try the Samosas- the pastry is fresh, flaky, buttery and melts in your mouth while the insides are perfectly seasoned (some of the best we've ever had). Dipped in the green chutney or the plum sauce and you're in Heaven. We had the Chicken Rogan Josh and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Along with a Garlic Naan (omg...) All were phenomenal. The chicken was tender, not at all dry, and the sauces were delightful. And can we talk about the Basmati rice... not something that would 'pop' off the menu, but it does. Not only is it cooked perfectly (not a single grain was clumped) but it was also seasoned and so flavorful. A lot of restaurants will skip seasoning the rice as a shortcut & savings, but not this one. It's the little details that make the difference. Great price point as we not only had dinner, but enough leftovers for the BOTH of us for lunch today. Looking forward to going back.”
