Tonight’s dinner was intimate, delicious and made with a love that few chefs can convey. The eggplant was perfect, the squash/ eggplant lasagna was incredible, filled with such flavor ! The freshest spinach salad using cubes of roasted squash, sliced apple and so much more. We will be back! Bivona’s is very special. Come one, Come all! Be greeted by Sam, the owner of Tasty’s. “10/10! First and foremost, this place is so squeaky clean you could eat off the floors. The service staff is terrific and the food is out of this world. Try the Samosas- the pastry is fresh, flaky, buttery and melts in your mouth while the insides are perfectly seasoned (some of the best we've ever had). Dipped in the green chutney or the plum sauce and you're in Heaven. We had the Chicken Rogan Josh and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Along with a Garlic Naan (omg...) All were phenomenal. The chicken was tender, not at all dry, and the sauces were delightful. And can we talk about the Basmati rice... not something that would 'pop' off the menu, but it does. Not only is it cooked perfectly (not a single grain was clumped) but it was also seasoned and so flavorful. A lot of restaurants will skip seasoning the rice as a shortcut & savings, but not this one. It's the little details that make the difference. Great price point as we not only had dinner, but enough leftovers for the BOTH of us for lunch today. Looking forward to going back.”

We got a house appetizer that was so good, I don't remember what I was eating but I wanted a full plate of it. They have sushi as well as some decent looking food from the kitchen. “This place has been around since 1801—starting out as a stagecoach stop, later transforming into a Prohibition-era speakeasy, then part brothel, and now a fine dining restaurant. Yet most people whiz past it in their cars, unaware that this unassuming old tavern serves some of the best cocktails and cuisine in the Hudson Valley.

If you arrive early, you might be lucky enough to run into the owner—warm, welcoming, and hospitable—who just might let you in through the backdoor as he opens the place.

Wander through the creaking, narrow corridors and you’ll feel like you’ve stepped through a portal: time travel, in real time.

Without a doubt the best waitress we ever had. She was unbelievably Friendly and made sure that we were happy with every part of my wifes birthday dinner. The only single item I can say is that it’s a take out restaurant primarily. So the interior of restaurant looks purposeful. It’s not dressed up or glamorous.”

The prices here are also a lot lower than other places. The owners have always been very nice to us and I love to support hardworking people. They are working from open till close everyday and their dedication is praiseworthy. Don’t let the location deter you from coming here, it’s worth it!”

“So we were driving through the town of Newburgh looking for a deli to grab a quick bite to eat and came across this place. They had a nice variety of breakfast sandwiches and what first impressed me was the sandwich was made FRESH! The coffee station, meticulous! Not a grain of sugar on the counters and the store was exceptionally clean. Now we tasted the sandwiches, which were done pretty quick by the way, and wow. Like wow! Fresh soft bread, toasted, order was perfect, sandwiches were hot and packaged neatly. My ONLY COMPLAINT is, sadly, they’re far from me. But I’d take that trip for good food, pleasant service and reasonable prices. If you’re passing through that area, definitely check them out!”

The error was four 4 piece rather than the 6, there was no long line in or outside that would quantify it.”

The food and service was amazing. we selected the $90 per person menu and were overwhelmed by the portions and quality of the food. We have dined here before tonight an always noticed how the owner Rita takes care of all her customers and is involved in ever aspect of her restaurant down to polishing glassware.”

“So im only giving it a 4 star because I havent tried everything just yet but my favorite roll is here and it was only at one other place and it was because the guy who made it, made the menu here. I was thrilled they had my favorite roll here because the other place isnt open anymore:( the sushi here is delicious here. Although I think it needs a little more tightening with the sushi rolls, the sushi is fantastic. Volcano roll specifically. Absolutely delicious. Thats my favorite roll I mentioned earlier. The way they torch the spicy mayo and pour it over the sushi literally makes it melt in your mouth. There is also one waiter id love to give a shout out to and his name is Sergio. Fantastic service by him both times ive had him and is great at what he does. Ask for Sergio to serve you!! Anyways. Sushi here is fantastic and I will be coming here more :) oh! And the atmosphere is awesome! Feels like youre in Japan. Great vibe. I wish I could give it a 6th star lol”

It’s a micro business so expect the owners to be there taking care of you, but also pay attention to the social media before you go as they are sometimes closed when they need to be elsewhere.
