“Just have to give a quick shoutout to Hard Bean on Merrick Ave. Victor and his wife Elise opened 10 days ago just north of the train station. My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.“

“I stopped in to Emilia’s Bakehouse Café on Walt Whitman Rd in Melville yesterday (they have another location in E. Northport) and boy, was I glad I did! I entered into a well-lit shop filled with pastries, scones, cookies, brownies, croissants, breads and quiches, etc. and was greeted with enthusiasm and a smile by 2 attractive young ladies. It was a great vibe just being there, very stress relieving. The chocolate brownie is perfection in texture and taste! The scones and peanut butter coconut power bites are delicious! Their organic Colombian coffee is the bomb, and you can get it with your favorite milk - for me it’s Oat Planet oat milk. Stop in, it’ll make your day! A feast for the eyes and tastebuds :)“

“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

“I’ve been to every local coffee shop you could think of within the radius of Oceanside to Long Beach. Without doubt this is THE best local coffee shop in the area. Small, quaint little hole in the wall type of shop next to the Oceanside train station that puts out THE best coffee and baked goods. The Pistachio Tiramisu was a total knock out, so so so so good. The owner Vish has to be one of the nicest people I’ve met as well. A hands on owner you can find behind the counter whipping up coffees or out on the patio engaging with his guests. Very nice spot I highly recommend coming here. Their cold brew is the best.“

“I’ve came here 2 times already But the thing I most recommend is the vibe!
The whole place is super cool definitely a hidden gem. Tons of board games and arcade games to use (FOR FREE). Even a giant connect 4.
Definitely stayed there playing for a while. Also I have to say the people who work there are super nice.
So far I’ve had their Oreo bubble tea very good. And there macaroons pistachio and cookies and cream very fresh and delicious. Also I had 2 types of there dumplings I recommend the beef that one was pretty good.. (I did not care for the chicken it was just not good it tasted like curry, very weird it also made my stomach feel bad). This place is more if you have a sweet tooth..

I take my walks through Massapequa to Massapequa Park and always bring my dog. I understand that I can’t bring him in but I totally forgot and was politely asked to keep him outside. “The review score is misleading as it takes into account low reviews from people who thought this was a cafe and not a wholesale/retail coffee roaster. I've been buying their coffee for years now. Fantastic coffee and the price can't be beat!!! You get a full pound, not 10 or 12oz and you can get any flavor imaginable. They have dozens of flavors of your into that. I've tried a bunch with only a rare few that I didn't care for. I now but 5 lb bags each time as I've been brewing lots more coffee!!! Terrific coffee. I've been using my farberware perc pot that makes a fantastic pot of coffee and makes it super hot!!!!“

“Awesome service from the staff today. My friend ordered light ice and the drink came with too much ice and without even having to ask the staff made an entirely new drink for free. Also, I tried a new drink today and it was a bit too milky for me and the staff happily agreed to adding an additional espresso shot for free. We were a part of a big group of 10 people and all of our drinks and food came out very quick. great experience 10/10!“

“I must admit I'm from Roosevelt and definitely do not remember this eatery. Anyway again I must admit the food was delicious. I had the fried whiting with french fries (the fries and the seasoned batter on the fish was also delicious). My daughter had the vegetable omelet with pepper jack cheese. I tasted her food and had to get an order of that omelet with home fries to go. The ladies in the back doing the cooking has been blessed to serve as well as cook. My food was served hot and that was definitely a plus. Trust me try the place you won't be disappointed. The server Dave was very accommodating and definitely earned his tip. I was confused by the huge selection of açaí bowls and had many questions and they were happy to answer them with no hesitation.I eventually chose my açaí bowl and it was very flavorful filled with fresh fruit and delicious. “My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun.
