“I walked in around 12 on Easter Sunday looking for a great cake to bring over my aunts house. I was looking for a place open that late and found a spot right near my house i never knew existed. I am so happy i found this bakery because the cake i purchased was outstanding! I will be coming back again for sure!! I was very impressed by how clean the bakery was and how kind the staff member was who helped me. I will be coming back!“

Stopped by for the first time (ordered on their app ahead of time which made it SO quick & convenient) and can’t complain.The coffee is a solid 9/10, got the rainbow cookie cold brew with chocolate foam on top. It was delicious!I was disappointed in the egg & cheese on an English muffin though. It was kinda like an egg cake (?) it was really thick and the English muffin wasn’t toasted and really chewy. But for $5 it wasn’t that big of a deal.Would definitely come back and try some of their other drinks!!“

“I went over the weekend to this restaurant following my sister's suggestion. I want to said that she was 100% correct when she claimed that the chicken was the best she had ever had. After trying I can also attest to it, the chicken coupled with crisp veggies and flavorful rice was a good choice. “Saturday evening dinner without a reservation. Walking in, my eyes immediately gravitated to the pictures of the owners and the many celebrities that have eaten and visited there before. The bar area is very nice and large, with TVs playing sports and news. We were greeted, welcomed and seated immediately. The dining area is very large and decorous. The tables large enough to sit us all. My cousin-in-law and his family frequent the restaurant and he practically knows everyone there, so as we sat, we were introduced to the owners and pretty much about a half dozen waiters and other staff members. All were extremely friendly and welcoming. As expected with all family style restaurants, the tables are very close to one another but positioned in a way that still allowed for ample space for you to move and sit comfortably. When we sat, there were hardly any people there, but within an hour it was full of patrons and large families. It was loud, but manageable. The food was unbelievably delicious. I haven't had true traditional family style Italian food in a long time. From the Fried Calamari and cold antipasto appetizers, to our Veal Parmigiana, Penne allá Vodka with Shrimp and prosciutto entrees. Paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon Palermo Napa, I truly enjoyed my meal. I haven't enjoyed food this good in a long time. My girls shared a huge plate of Chicken fingers and fries, and they loved it. I highly recommend anyone who's in the area to dine here. You won't regret it. Thank you for a great meal and patronage.“

“Incredibly homey service and atmosphere!! Everything was delicious and very fresh. The dips and platters were absolutely unforgettable, vibrant flavors and amazing balance in taste — not a single complaint first time going! (those lemon potatoes are nothing less than mind blowing) Everything tasted completely authentic and don’t skip on the Greek hot coffee, made over sand and very rich tasting. The deserts also were an extremely satisfying end to a meal, being very rich and delectable. “My absolute favorite coffee shop!! I am in the hard bean at least twice a week and I have had nothing but great experiences! The coffee is consistently good, and the food items are always fresh. The service is outstanding and the staff is always kind and attentive. I typically bring my laptop and stay for a while to get some work done, and this is a great place to do so. The WiFi is great and the atmosphere is always very calm. I love that when I go I am supporting a local family business that is hardworking and dedicated to what they do. I also got the punch card and my 8th coffee was free! Great touch for frequent flyers in the Merrick area. “Ordered 2 drinks with my wife that were absolutely outstanding and had us craving for more. Let me start by saying the place has a very simple yet clean ambiance, the easy to read menu from fan favorites to byo bubble tea. So the wife and i decide to get the Cancer which had mango slushy coconut milk fresh mango and crystal boba my wife ended up getting the Gemini which had strawberry milk fresh strawberry and strawberry popping boba!! Both of these drinks were delicious and refreshing i tried my wife's bubble tea and nearly ended up switching but i really enjoyed the mangos freshness please please this place is a must try!!!!“

“First time and could not be more impressed. First the bread , amazing . Chef Guerrieri is spot on with everything he prepares. Freshest ingredients put together perfectly . Did I mention the bread ? Only negative was they were sold out of the octopus ( I did order less than an hour to closing on a Friday in Lent , so I’m to blame) . The replacement the Chef recommended and provided was more than adequate and extremely generous. Great spot , great Chef , highly recommend.“

“This place is a hidden gem and features some of the best ice cream/ gelato I've ever had on Long Island. I got the campfire crunch swirly, and it was delicious. Ice cream was super cremy and fresh, and they put the perfect amount of blended toppings in the swirly.The shop featured about 20 gelato flavors to choose from and also had a nice expresso bar/candy station in the back.The service was nice and friendly.Overall, this place is a must try!“

Went today for first time and I enjoyed the atmosphere, had a matcha iced tea with tamarind syrup (had them add milk to make it a bit creamy as it was more on the sour watery side than what I’m used to for matcha); my partner had an iced coffee. I will definitely return as I really would like to try their regular coffee, the place smelled amazing!!! They sell coffee bags there too, which would be kool to make at home if you’ve tried and loved the taste of their coffee. Reminded me of Gossip Coffee in Astoria.The great thing is they have plenty of outlets, pretty much at every single and double seating space. The tables for 4 in the middle of the cafe are the only ones without outlets.It was a bit chilly when we went today, as the back door was open to the outdoor seating, would’ve preferred it closed especially in 45-50 degree weather still. It’s nice to have that extra space out there though, esp when the weather gets warmer, definitely a plus. It faces the parking lot.The cafe overall is cozy and chill, great place to work, light a bit dim, cute decor, more of a rustic industrial feel which is my cup of tea. My partner felt like the seating was uncomfortable and hard, esp if going to be there for a couple hours to work like we were but otherwise, great place to check out and unwind at, over coffee or with a friend, to read, catch up on work, or just work from for the day. “Very cute, quaint, chill spot for all ages. Depends on what you’re looking for. Saw a few mothers on “play dates” or shall I say “Mommy & Me dates,” all very accommodating. If you’re going for a drink or coffee, it’s a great spot. Have several outlets in some of the seating areas, which allows ease for working remotely as well. I just put my headphones to be able to concentrate more. Not a rowdy place at all, as I mentioned super chill. Staff doesn’t bother you and you can stay as long as you want. “Disappointed to find out on Easter Sunday they did not have cookies available when they opened at 9am, they weren’t available till 11am why is that? Instead they offered crookies, the latest trend cookie stuffed in a croissant. It was more croissant tasting than the cookie, taste was confusing, and I really wanted to taste more of the cookie than the buttery croissant. It’s not all that, I was underwhelmed. I had bought 4 to try since I made the trip, I was left with 2. I was so put off ( butter from the croissant was over powering) I threw them out. Odd hybrid. Just stick with your perfected creative cookie creations.“

“We had a great experience with Vice Doughnuts and Coffee yesterday. We hired them to come out for our Daughters 1st Birthday and they lived up to the hype. “Cute little local coffee spot right across from the train station. They have a ton of options available when it comes to any kind of flavor you could want with your coffee, I opted for their drip with raspberry, which was absolutely delightful. If you don't do your drip right, there's no way you do anything else well, so this is a good sign for my return trip! They offer several teas and an assortment of baked goods to eat as well, if coffee isn't your thing. Staff was very friendly and service was quick to boot. There are a bunch of tables inside and out if you choose to stay awhile, but it is limited and the place seems to fill up pretty quick. Plenty of parking close by either on the street or in the municipal lots in back of the building.“

“A brunch spot the Long Beach area needed for sure! There is nothing really like this in Long Beach yet - a place to go and get a nicer brunch with family or the girls on a weekend. Definitely a great sit down breakfast option. We had to wait for about 25 minutes on a Saturday around 10am but once we sat down service was fast and efficient. They also have the app that tells you your spot in line so we could go run some errands while we waited! I got the Delancey street omelet with no tomatoes. It was a very good omelet (a little overcooked in the eggs but pretty standard with diner food) and I got sweet potato fries and rye toast on the side which were the stars of the show! I don't normally like sweet sauce with my fries but their sauce was amazing too. My boyfriend got the domingo tacos which were a bit mushy but overall good flavor. The fresh squeezed OJ was fantastic - highly recommend and the espresso was good as well!! If you want a sweet breakfast all of their French toasts coming out looked to die for. All in all I would come back for sure. It was very busy on the weekend! Good vibe and seemed like it is the new brunch destination for a lot of the island.“

One of the few places you will find the sort of almond croissant you desire. Parking is small so careful with how you enter/exit. If you have not yet stopped into this bakery, it is small but mighty! After reading some negative reviews together we decided to try it out for ourselves. I must say I don’t agree with any of them. “For the past few weeks, I've been trying new coffee shops on Long Island and I finally tried this one. It's been on my list for a while because they seem to have a lot of fun flavors. They also have some cool seasonal flavors depending on the time of year! I went right before St Patrick's Day, so I got the iced lucky charms latte, which was obviously seasonal for the holiday. They also had a peeps marshmallow latte for Easter, which looked good. Plus, they decorate the coffees and lattes very cute! The lucky charms latte typically comes with whipped cream and lucky charms on top, although I got it without whipped cream. I'm not sure if it usually gets busy, but I came around 8am and there was no line, so I got my coffee very fast. Would definitely recommend!“

“I visited this restaurant today with my mom, mother-in-law and 10 month old today. I have been here numerous times in the past but I cannot say enough how wonderfully they treated us today. I’m not sure who the first man was (perhaps the owner/manager not sure) but right away he asked if my son would like strawberries. He then brought over fresh strawberries cut up and when he finished that bowl, he brought over another one without us even asking. I felt bad because most of the strawberries did end up on the floor but the man cleaned them up telling us not to worry about a thing. I had ordered my son a cheese crepe and when it came out, it again was cut into small pieces for him. When we were leaving I personally thanked the chef because I thought it was just so thoughtful of him. He then proceeded to tell me the next time we come in we can ask to add anything we would like into the crepe for my son. This was just such a wonderful experience and the food was delicious to top it off! I will definitely be going back!!!Kid-friendliness: They were so welcoming to my 10 month old! “I wanted to give 3 stars but the employees were nice and the overall atmosphere/set-up of the menu was convenient. Very good pricing transparency too between the standard and premium donuts. They also have a donut bar.My friends have commented favorably on the rainbow cookie donut although they did not have that this weekend. I had the black and white plus the cinnamon bun while my partner got the Boston cream and the maple bacon. They were good overall. However, the presentation/structure of the donuts were less than ideal. Prices were good (base $3.50) but the Boston cream was basically two holed donuts with cream slathered in between. This was very awkward and difficult to eat. The cinnamon roll donut based on the photo looked like it was a solid one and not a holed pastry. They pipe the cinnamon icing over the hole. I found it too sweet and the ratio of pastry to icing is off given the fact it's done on top of the hole. They should utilize the donut shape without the hole for some of these flavors instead of doing it on top, since this leads to a full bite of icing.Donuts otherwise were good and excellent flavor assortment. I just would recommend they change how they structure the donuts with more icing!Parking can be tough around here since it's by the train station. Would likely need to pay for it on the meter without a permit.“

“Finally a NICE bakery spot where you can sit and enjoy a nice pastry with coffee! Such a beautiful ambiance with delicious varieties to eat from. I tried the pistachio gateau and it was amazing! Only thing I would suggest is they should serve in glass plate rather than a paper plate so it matches up to the ambiance and style.“

“Amazing bakery in a convenient location.Go there for a coffee and leave with a ton of desserts. I come here 2-3 days a week and always enjoy a few Meia-de-Leite! My friend got a grapefruit “K-fruit” and I got a combination of cookies & cream AND dulce de leche BOBA. It was my first time ordering and I was surprised that I could mix flavors. Sally was very accommodating and made helpful suggestions regarding the sweetness level. The grapefruit “K-fruit” did not taste artificial and it had real fruit pulp. “My favorite local cafe by far! Wired Coffee House has my heart, they truly care for their customers and provide quality service. They uplift my mornings every day before I head to work or the city in general. I am not a coffee drinker but my usual is their chai. If you're more of a tea drinker I highly recommend this drink and it goes well with a multitude of flavors (personal favorite Iced Rose Chai is to die for). I also love their bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, perfectly cheesy and distributed. If you're looking for a local cafe to support and try this is it! They are the best!
