“Overnight shift staff is amazing! During the day can be dicey. Need to stop hiring the teenagers who only care about hooking up with fellow employees or customers online. Also, daytime they get a bit messy with their drinks and you're handed a sticky cup. The two gentlemen at night midnight and on are EXCELLENT!!!! They need a raise, bonus' or whatever.. Just don't let them leave.. lol.. Food has been good too“

“Just have to give a quick shoutout to Hard Bean on Merrick Ave. Victor and his wife Elise opened 10 days ago just north of the train station. My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.“

“A perfect morning routine when catching the train from Bethpage. They have great coffee selection, and the barista is knowledgeable, and always gets my drink orders right. Also, the food is delicious! I highly recommend the egg, avocado, and honey sandwich. Messy, but totally worth it! “One of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to in my life. The service was amazing. The staff was super kind super nice and I can’t even begin to describe how amazing the drinks were. We also got some snacks here as well and it was just absolutely wonderful.

The atmosphere in the area is super nice and it’s just such a great time to be here. “Just went to Greek City Grille and ordered the chicken souvlaki platter with lemon potatoes. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and the lemon potatoes were absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and the place was so clean and decorated beautifully. Will definitely be coming back!“

“I stopped in to Emilia’s Bakehouse Café on Walt Whitman Rd in Melville yesterday (they have another location in E. Northport) and boy, was I glad I did! I entered into a well-lit shop filled with pastries, scones, cookies, brownies, croissants, breads and quiches, etc. and was greeted with enthusiasm and a smile by 2 attractive young ladies. It was a great vibe just being there, very stress relieving. The chocolate brownie is perfection in texture and taste! The scones and peanut butter coconut power bites are delicious! Their organic Colombian coffee is the bomb, and you can get it with your favorite milk - for me it’s Oat Planet oat milk. Stop in, it’ll make your day! A feast for the eyes and tastebuds :)“

“My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. Kudos to them for a really great place, definitely go visit!“
