“Saturday evening dinner without a reservation. Walking in, my eyes immediately gravitated to the pictures of the owners and the many celebrities that have eaten and visited there before. The bar area is very nice and large, with TVs playing sports and news. We were greeted, welcomed and seated immediately. The dining area is very large and decorous. The tables large enough to sit us all. My cousin-in-law and his family frequent the restaurant and he practically knows everyone there, so as we sat, we were introduced to the owners and pretty much about a half dozen waiters and other staff members. All were extremely friendly and welcoming. As expected with all family style restaurants, the tables are very close to one another but positioned in a way that still allowed for ample space for you to move and sit comfortably. When we sat, there were hardly any people there, but within an hour it was full of patrons and large families. It was loud, but manageable. The food was unbelievably delicious. I haven't had true traditional family style Italian food in a long time. From the Fried Calamari and cold antipasto appetizers, to our Veal Parmigiana, Penne allá Vodka with Shrimp and prosciutto entrees. Paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon Palermo Napa, I truly enjoyed my meal. I haven't enjoyed food this good in a long time. My girls shared a huge plate of Chicken fingers and fries, and they loved it. The event turned out better than we could have expected. The food is AMAZING. Everybody is still raving about it and a few of our family members have already been back! “This restaurant can lend itself to a very noisy environment. Yet today, with several tables taken, conversation was easy and able to be heard. We have been here several times for brunch and a couple of times for dinner. Delicious salad with greens, grape tomatoes and fresh red onions cut over a chicken milanese. Companions enjoyed their choices of crab cake benedict and a large cubano sandwich served with homemade shoestring fries. “20/10 Westbury Manor was more than I could have imagined. It rained on my wedding day and all the staff worked their butts off to make sure my day went perfectly, and it did!!! This place runs like a well-oiled machine. Upon booking, I spoke with Mike. He was one of the first reasons why I wanted to book with WBM. Any questions I had, Mike was always there to give me the information I needed. Sandra was the next person I worked with and she was also just as amazing. The BEST part of my day was Phil, our Matre’d and Claudia our bridal attendant. These two are sensational!!!! Talk about TEAMWORK!!!! They were running out in the rain for me, carrying the train on my dress, keeping us cool calm and collected all day and got us anything that we needed. The list goes on for these two on how hard they worked and how much they did for us. Both of them were at our sides all day to make sure everything was up to par. Their attention to detail was phenomenal. We received so many compliments on Phil and Claudia and how wonderful they were to our guests as well as my husband and I. If you want to feel like Royalty on your wedding day, WBM is the venue for you. Jerry, the owner, even came up to my husband and I to make sure we were happy. “Hi I don't usually don't do reviews but I had a surprise birthday party for my wife on 3/23 of a party of 20 people and from the beginning dealing with and planning with EVA she went up and above my expectations walking me threw everything from beginning to end I can't say enough of her and Barbara and just wanted to thank Barbara our server handled all of us with no issues at all and all of the staff who helped with everything from Eva, Barbara and would give both of them 10 stars and more and food was absolutely exquisite“

“Kayla was our server, and supplied the vibe. She recommended the Speck pizza with hot honey, and that pizza changed my life. So damn good! I’m not kidding when I say that I loved it so much I ordered another one to go, to enjoy later that night. That smoked mozzarella ?. The Gnocchi was awesome and they even offer it in a bread bowl! The Italian sodas are also good, if you love natural ginger flavor, the apple ginger one for sure hits.“

“Have passed this pizzeria many times and never went in cause I just thought the parking was too difficult . Someone told me today that this was their favorite pizza in Plainview ( it at the border of Plainview and Hicksville on Woodbury road and south oyster bay road). I asked why and he said , it's the cheesiest! Anyway, I decided to try it and was very pleased. I had a cauliflower pizza which was excellent and I could present it was healthier. The regular slice was also good and really cheesy as promised. Inside the dining room is nicer than you can tell from the outside. The staff are efficient and accommodating. You can park on the street , but they DO have a parking lot in back, around the corner. Gotta say, although I haven't been here for 28 years, I plan to return.“

“Similar to other Mother Kelly’s this place has a fantastic menu of beer (and ciders and wines if that’s your jam). The game changer is the pizza, it is simply amazing. A whole pizza is MASSIVE although quite a thin crust so manageable between a couple of you. They sell it by the slice too. Had some birthday drinks there recently with a group of people and they went down a treat. Don’t know if they still serve the meat and cheese platters, don’t care - get a pizza.“

We had Burrata with melon an prosciutto as an appetizer then veal parm that could have easily served 3 people and pork osso bucco served w risotto. It was delicious. The spinach and white pizza is the best I ever had. The baked ziti is cheesed top to bottom, not just one drop of ricotta like most places. Found these guys just this year, and now they're my go to. “We had my mothers' 90th birthday last Saturday and we are very pleased with the entire experience. Robbie was a pleasure to work with, he answered all our questions and was helpful with the food choices and the entire setup. Ignacio and Rueben provided outstanding service the day of the party, and dealt with late comers and we even went over the time frame a little bit. Now to the food, wow wow wow! “Ardito's is staple of the community there in Mineola. Anyone who knows Rosa and Tony will agree with me that they are both amazing. The food is always on point and handed to you with a smile. The lunch hours can get pretty crowded and busy but is worth the wait. I recommend Arditos for everything from sandwiches to salads and pasta.. eggplant parm to die for and some of the best chicken cutlets I have ever had!“

“Rialto's motto: Good Friends. Good Food. From my research I surmised Rialto has been around over 14 years. I was surprised the restaurant does not market their establishment date with their motto, as 14+ years is no small feat. My original visit a few years ago, attending an event with my colleagues bundled in a smaller section of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. It had myself questioning whether I should attend yet another milestone event squished in a corner. After succumbing to the pressures as to why I should attend, I was pleased that this evening's Jan 2024 Retirement Dinner, was set up in the larger part of the restaurant. Great company. Entering from the main door you are met with a warm, cozy glow on the smaller, bar side of the restaurant and then an immediate separation to the larger main dining area. The main area allowed the space needed for co-workers not seen in ages an opportunity to mingle freely. Much more comfortable. Good food. A small sample of the Berkshire Pork Chop was perfectly prepared. I definitely recommend. My Almond Crusted Stuffed Chicken Breast was a savory, sweet dish with the accompanying mashed Sweet Potatoes. Another perfect combination. To add to the pleasantries of the evening, our obviously skilled servers offered prompt, satisfactory service. Any request I or my table companions made were fulfilled without any necessary follow up. There may have been exceptions, though all appeared content with the service. If the opportunity arose again and dependent on the circumstances I would return to Rialto. TIP: Parking Lot in back Residential parking available“

“Love this place. I live right across the street. I'm in love with their grandma's pizza. The food is delicious. Shrimp scampi is my favorite. And their garlic knots are so garlicky. I usually get a dozen and eat them all myself in way under 2 days. It is my go to place for pizza and pasta. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.“

“The service was excellent. Very loud on Peak Busy times. Seating is very tight. They pack you in. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate setting, this is not the place on busy peak times. The food was okay. Steaks are great. Salad was okay. You are going there for the steaks. I had stuffed shrimp with crab meat. Real crab meat. It was a little on the dry side. The potatoes were good. “We had a pleasant visit to Luogo's. All the meals and appetizers were perfect. The sangria was amazing. I doubted our server when I saw he didn't write down our very large order but was relieved when he came back around to confirm he had my meal correctly. It's not a place I'd go back to by choice but defiantly wouldn't mind coming back if someone chooses this place for their birthday again. The vibe of this place is very nice, romantic, dress up nice and go in a date kind of place. I did see kids here but I wouldn't pick this as a place to bring younger children to. One thing I didn't like too much was one of the workers here knew someone from out party and kept coming over having side conversations and even bought him and only him a shot of some fancy cognac which was kind of rude seeing as he could of atleast offered the birthday girl (very clear by the balloons who we were celebrating) a shot as well. We were a party of about 14 so I get not getting a round for the table.“

The only critisizm an its nit picky is the pasta in the lasagna was a bit over cooked. It was still delicious. “Some of the best speciality squares in the area. Their regular pies are great to, a slightly thinner crust than the traditional NY slice. Service counter is always on top of their game cause the place can get packed, so staff is always working hard to get you your order done. Only a handful of high tops inside to eat your slice at but the business is set up perfectly to go in and grab your order on the go, but in the nicer weather they do a great job setting up picnic tables.outside to enjoy great pizza and the warm weather.
