“The food is great and the customer service is top notch. The lady behind the counter helped me and was very nice. The young man should get a promotion he is very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and I saw him help a customer who was having car trouble in the parking lot and as he was walking back indies, picked up a wrapper that someone had dropped, ensuring the establishment is clean. You can tell he really cares about this place. There was another man who works here who also assisted the patron. It really shows that they are dedicated to customer service here and value their customers and take pride in their work.”

“Wonderful experience dining at the new Arlo restaurant. The renovation is absolutely incredible. You want to walk around just to admire how beautiful it all looks. The food and service was next level - reminding us of what you’d experience in NYC. Our guests raved about their duck entree, their boeuf bourguignon pot pie was outstanding, the oysters were fresh and delicious, great craft cocktails, and outstanding waitstaff. We had high expectations and they were exceeded. Looking forward to going back.”

“We were seated promptly, which is always nice when you have a reservation. Didn't try to force us to wait at the bar for our table. Drinks and food were also served at a nice pace, and our server had a good personality. The restaurant is small and cozy and we liked the fact that it was crowded, which is a good sign that people enjoy the food and ambiance, Definitely will be back.”

“I dined at this restaurant with three other friends on Sunday, 8/17. We had food off of the $37 menu. It is a three-course dinner. I had the Fried Calamari, done perfectly, Filet Mignon, also done perfectly, and chocolate ice cream dessert. The food and service were over the top. They also have a party room that can hold 70 people. I highly recommend SYMI for your dining pleasure. Enjoy.”

“The ratings did not disappoint for sure. My little one always goes with vanilla ice cream. I also tried it. It was very delicious, creamy.
My other son tried watermelon italian ice. It was really good. Just a heads up, a scoop of kids size ice cream is HUGE!

“Our family was quite disappointed when our cherished local Chinese restaurant, which had served our small community of East Northport with delicious dine-in and takeout Chinese cuisine for 25 years, unfortunately ceased operations. Since then, we have been trying to find a suitable alternative Chinese restaurant in the area, but our efforts have only led us to typical Chinese takeout establishments offering mediocre food and lacking dine-in service. Therefore, we were pleasantly surprised to discover the delightful establishment known as Panda Chinese Restaurant on 25A in Fort Salonga. Not only was the food exceptionally good in terms of both quality and quantity, but the service and the bright, clean, and open dining area were also superb. Although it is a bit further away than our previous Chinese restaurant, we will certainly be returning to Panda and will gladly share our positive experience about Northport's little gem.”

“Highly recommend this spot for all vegan and lactose intolerant folks. This is the only carvel that I know of that carries oatly dairy-free ice cream. We tried the vegan pistachio soft serve and it was probably one of the best desserts ever. This flavor goes perfect in a cone. She also had dairy-free (vegan) hard ice cream flavors including cookies and cream and peanut butter with some sort of chunks. Will be returning to try more flavors. There really is not advertisement that this spot has vegan options, so I wanted to write a review to let everyone know!”

We take friends and family there whenever we can, they actually took another order to go of the pasta they had because it was that good. Pizzas are made in a brick oven imported from Italy and it makes all the difference. When people love what they do it shines through and La Porta is a gem”

“Was craving a hearty meal potatoes and gravy so we decided to stop here for dinner. For appetizers we had the clams casino that had so much flavor! For dinner we ordered the famous sauerbraten with mashed potatoes and red cabbage my husband ordered pork schnitzel! Sauerbraten was so tender and the gravy was spot on! We cleaned our plates. For dessert we had the Black Forest cake which was the perfect ending! The atmosphere was great loved how all the waitresses wore cute German Dresses. We kept saying we felt like we were out of state! Live piano player and singer. Overall we will be back again!!”

“I love this place, much better than other delis in the area. However, they are a bit more pricey than the others. Bagels are always delicious and the staff are always friendly and kind. One big reason this isn’t a 5 star review is because the staff do not change their gloves regularly. They will touch cash, the register, other things around the store, and then go touch your bagel. Disgusting! Either have 1 hand for food and the other for money or just change your gloves between orders.”

“What cool staff, the owner / operator came out to welcome me to the Blackfish Tavern his name is Andrew and the manager is Jaimie Andrew introduced me to his daughter, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Then my rueben came and went, the bread was delicious and I complemented my lunch and mentioned how unbelievably good the bread was was found out they make all of their own bread and their own fresh Desserts! I find something good to eat there every Wednesday who's luckier than me! Long Live the Blackfish Tavern! My new.favorite place.”

“The service was great, the lobster ,filet and mussels were excellent. My only disappointment was that I expecting the fish sandwich to be fresh fish and it was just a prebreaded and frozen. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I mentioned my observation to the manager and he was very appreciative and helpful. Overall we had a nice time out on the front patio. The service was very prompt and friendly.”

Thoughtful touches like including extra sauce for the pasta were appreciated. Everything was ready on time for my pickup and made feeding 35 guests a breeze!”
