“Wonderful experience dining at the new Arlo restaurant. The renovation is absolutely incredible. You want to walk around just to admire how beautiful it all looks. The food and service was next level - reminding us of what you’d experience in NYC. Our guests raved about their duck entree, their boeuf bourguignon pot pie was outstanding, the oysters were fresh and delicious, great craft cocktails, and outstanding waitstaff. We had high expectations and they were exceeded. Looking forward to going back.”

“Choices are plenty on the menu. See other posters pictures, no need for redundant reposts. Nice staff, good atmosphere all in. Tasty and variety, feels like everyone is welcome. Specials on a separate menu sheet that rotates. Have had most of the dishes and they're always good eats. Yes you can eat here and be happy with quality and taste. Family friendly and approved. Would give them a full 5 star but hey the cow limitations on here stops at four. Worth the drive and effort to get here.”

“Darin, the owner is a very nice lady. I discovered this place in 2021 when the local police officer said they have the best food in town, especially the best burger.

As a SAIL or I choose to come to the town dock from time to time to get some things in town that are very convenient. Nick behind the bar Megan Tiffany are all very personable and quick to serve.

I foolishly has as old man walked out the door without paying my bill on a Tuesday. I had come back and paid with cash on Wednesday and Thursday Daren the owner connected with me to make sure I knew I totally forgot. She could not have been any nicer!”

If I had to make a suggestion, make reservations for the complete tasting menu, guaranteed you won't leave unsatisfied!

“I go to visit relatives in Northport a couple of times a year. I can't believe that I haven't been to this place before! I've driven by and noticed it but it kind of blends in.

I ordered 3 sandwiches (Rosa, Amore and Porchetta). I was a little concerned that the sandwiches might be on the small side, based on the images on the website. Well, let me tell you, these sandwiches are huge. One sandwich could be lunch and dinner (one half each meal) for a majority of people.

And the meatballs are tender with a delicious tangy marinara. These meatballs are better than Maroni down the street and much less expensive.

Sandwiches were so good, I picked up another for the beach the next day (La Nonna meatball sandwich). It was fantastic but did not come with any red sauce. Maybe they forgot it, I dunno. But I also ordered more meatballs and used that sauce to dip the sandwich

The macchiato was great. I am quite particular about coffee. This coffee was flavorful and strong

“I dined at this restaurant with three other friends on Sunday, 8/17. We had food off of the $37 menu. It is a three-course dinner. I had the Fried Calamari, done perfectly, Filet Mignon, also done perfectly, and chocolate ice cream dessert. The food and service were over the top. They also have a party room that can hold 70 people. I highly recommend SYMI for your dining pleasure. Enjoy.”

“Small very cute cafe in heart of Northport Village. Scone was as good as any I ever had, including London. Once you have their coffee, you will not go back to Starbucks, in my opinion. Once in a while you get someone at the counter who's not having a good day, but who doesn't? Don't tell too many people about this place. I love the easy in, easy out and their high quality products. It's my go-to.”

It’s not a sit down place.
Fast and easy orders.
Excellent traditional Chow Mein. All orders picked have been flavorful and delicious.
Large portions (actually too large).
Extremely conscientiousness customer service that goes far beyond the current norm.
I also enjoy their French Fries as I’m a lover of the same.
Been a customer for well over 25 years although a hiatus here and there due to work and timing.
Blows away most of the other locals as far as food quality and service.

Vegetarian options: I think from my experience they will make what you want and how you want it. They have for me in the past.
My experience’s may differ from yours.

Dietary restrictions: The counter person, a younger man who I think is a family member quickly helps with any food type concerns. He is 100% English fluent, intelligent and delegates the same to chef’s.

Parking: Massive grocery store parking lot. Probably over 500 spaces available at any given time”

We had a small mixup with our take-out order, only once ever, and they handled it very well. As a small business owner I know that sometimes there are hick-ups, but how they are handled is the real indication of whether a business is run with customer satisfaction in mind or not. These guys care and try to do the right thing for their customers. Highly, highly recommend this place!!!”

“My wife and I walked in for dinner without a reservation maybe two months ago at around 6:30 on a Saturday. Since the wait was a bit longer than usual we were kindly given a plate of Edamame on the house. That's when we noticed that our server was working the entire dining room by herself after another called in sick last-minute.Being short staffed is a challenge on any night but this was a packed house on Saturday night with a large number of take-out orders flowing and the team stepped up with impressive dexterity. Given the circumstances mistakes can happen but we didn't notice any.Our meals were delicious, creative and beautiful. We've since returned several times for the great food but the real triumph that night was how well everyone in the front house performed.

“Love Venus! Staff is amazing, food is so good. It really tastes like authentic greek food. I brought my kids here and the staff was so kind, playing with them and making our experience great. I would recommend the Lemon Egg soup and Gyro Sandwich - seriously so good and can’t wait to go back!”

“WOW... why did it take me so long to try this place? Everything about it was great from start to finish. The atmosphere is so cool matched only by the food and service. The servers were attentive and made sure I was enjoying my experience. They were helpful in making suggestions since everything sounded so good. I mean how do you choose between street fries, fresh amazing looking quac, szechuan calamari and wings... and that was just the appetizer I was trying to decide on... the food is awesome and the experience amazing. It will be a regular place of mine to eat at moving forward. Do yourself a favor and go and not matter what you decide on the appetizer try one of the taco options.. you will be so happy you did.”
