“This is a classic Italian restaurant. Years ago in NYC there were many small restaurants on side streets that had excellent food. Very few of those survive. But Aperiti is heir to that tradition. Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. “From the drinks I had, the Gambler's Old fashioned, through the appetizers of mushroom raviolis, stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes to the very good mains three filet mignons and three loaded baked potatoes and one plain mac & cheese and one bread pudding desert, everything was very good. One of the filets the 8 oz one was a bit overdone and not pink as ordered. The two 11 oz filets were pink inside exactly as ordered.“

“On a beautiful October Sunday I took two friends out to Brunch. We were all really taken with the drinks first of all. They were delicious and interesting..even ordered a second one! The food is very very good. I had a Truffle omelet that was done to perfection and served with truffle fries and a salad that is reminiscent of French salad...simply and perfectly dressed. There is a reason why this restaurant has a strong following!!“

“We’ve been here many times. The food and service are very good most of the time. The servers always fill water glasses regularly and I like that. The atmosphere looks nice, but it gets very loud when busy which can be hard on neurodivergent people. I crave their frisée salad. My parents love this restaurant.“
