“For Queens, sushi you is one of the most reliable and big bang for your buck. We order here at least once a week, the kids love it and we never had problems with quality of the fish. It’s perfect for family take out meals, we have 4 adults 3 minors, I order 6 rolls 2 salmon dinners (sushi and sashimi)2 trio sushi dinners, Plus the free dragon roll, everyone gets a happy belly. We’ve been ordering from here for 10 years ❤️

“My plus one and I really enjoyed our time here. We had just gotten home from vacation and were in a mood for Ramen and this place did not disappoint.
Let me just say that this place has such a traditional Japanese vibe to it…the staff is warm and welcoming and the food was spectacular.
We had the ramen, both original and spicy and it was very delicious. We also had two Asahi beers and called it a day.
Overall, I will come back to this place more often.“

“Sushi Time! is always my hubby's and my go-to-sushi-craving-appeasing -eatery when we travel to NY.

Since they initially opened almost two decades ago, we've habitually eaten at the restaurant -- countless times when we lived in NY and even after we moved to NW CT in 2010. Now living in VA these past three years, our trips to NY are not as frequent, BUUUUT we make certain to eat at Sushi Time! when we are there -- whether just landed at one of NYC airports, passing through or visiting for several days. Yes, thats how much we enjoy eating at Sushi Time!

Jenna and her staff are always welcoming and amazingly friendly and attentive from the moment you walk into the restaurant, regardless if they just opened the doors to the very last minute they close at night.

Their sushi quality and specialty rolls combinations and flavours are impeccable. Never disappointing.

“We have been ordering here for years but the price keeps going up on their platters - we usually get the XL sushi sashimi roll platter. It’s $140 at time of this review. Some of the rolls have a Korean flair with Korean pickled radish in them. A lot of spicy mayo is drizzled over the smaller rolls so it’s hard to tell what type of fish/roll you’re eating so keep that in mind if you have guests. Easy to order because you can’t choose.“

“New favorite local sushi take-out spot. Very friendly welcome when I walked in, told them my daughter really wants salmon and they were happy to custom one of the plates to include only salmon.

The salmon itself was excellent. Fresh and smooth texture, dare I say best I’ve had outside of Japan (was there in July).

The extra large that I have gotten was $115 and can feed up to 3 to 4 people. Place is cash only and take out only. Also you can customize your order too. If you don't like something you can let them know and they will change it and replace something that you like.“

“This restaurant is fantastic! It's incredibly fresh and truly a hidden gem. I notice deliveries happening every week, which prompted me to give it a try. I'm a big fan of traditional Japanese cuisine. Their sushi is exceptionally fresh, and the salad is wonderfully light. The KANI salad has a delightful mild spiciness to it.
The owner is charming, and the waitress is very accommodating. They offer Japanese soda that you have to pop, as is traditional. It's so cute, and I highly recommend it. Although it's a simple establishment, the food definitely speaks for itself“

I love their sushi and their platters as well, I’m very well acquainted with the menu. However, this time the quality was very different; the miso soup was nowhere near where it usually is, and the chicken was ok. I hope it was a one time thing, because to me it’ll always be the best place ever. I’ll be coming back to ascertain whether the quality issues were a one time thing.“

“Ordered chicken teriyaki lunch special. It was made fresh as I could hear the meat sizzling in the back and the wait didn't take too long (around 10-15 minutes).

The restaurant environment wasn't too great but I figured this is the kinda spot you order takeout from and, in that case, it's adequate for takeout. The chicken looks moist and well-sauced. The roll looks well-made with no browning on the avocado. Miso soup is comforting to have with chicken teriyaki over rice.

I have no complaints. 8.5/10

“I should have reviewed this place years ago...given the fact that I have been coming here for over a decade when the place was a hole in the wall. This place has expanded and has stayed standing for a reason. Their sushi is ALWAYS fresh, their staff makes it a point to get to know you, and it's probably the best sushi I've had in all of NY....and I've had a lot. I will continue eating from here at least once a week (yes, I eat here at least once a week) until they decide to close their doors (which I hope is never)“
