“We had a special couples meal tonight at Silvia . The hostess greeted us with a smile and showed us to a corner table ; perfect for a one on one chat . Our server Ally was knowledgeable and very personable ..on her recommendation we started with a house-made ginger rosemary non alcoholic drink ..wow ! Then we had oysters and the prosciutto and figs ..both were excellent ..our mains were the mushroom and asparagus over pasta and the smoked pork chop on polenta ..OUTSTANDING . Ally was attentive without being intrusive .. The manager stopped by to thank us for coming in . All the staff seem happy and effective ..great space , lovely vibe . we drove 75 min for the meal and it was well worth it ., HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

“I’ve been coming to Helena Specialty Pierogies regularly for more than years, and it has consistently been a wonderful experience! The food is absolutely delicious, the quality is excellent. The Helena is always friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. It’s rare to find a place that maintains such great quality and service year after year. One of my favorite local spots, and a place I’m always happy to return to.”

“I've drank a lot of really good DIPAs, IPAs from Tree House, Fidens, Alchemist, Foam, etc. Decided to stop on way home from Belleayre gave the I Dream in Blue DIPA a try. It competes with Tree House "Super Treat" nice up front candied taste and a mellow back end not a bitter/hoppy feel at all.”

“Nice spot and was perfect for me and some friends to sit at the bar and catch up on life. We had just had a bad experience somewhere else and came in here for a drink to unwind and it was a good decision.
They were on top of making sure we had drinks when we were ready. The entire place gave you a nice feel and the guy working the bar was very friendly.

“Love love Garden Cafe! The food is amazing, service is always great (quick and very friendly), and setting is cozy and convenient (right in the heart of Woodstock). Their creativity with food and beverages is why we keep coming back. Whether you’re vegan or vegetarian or neither, you’ll find something very tasty. I’m vegan and this is my favorite restaurant of all for food, people, and atmosphere. Highly recommend! Oh and the owner is one of the kindest, most genuine and caring people you’ll be lucky to meet”

“So glad we found this gem while driving by. The food is sosososo good! The pho was delicious - the noodles were airy, the broth was light and flavorful and the beef was so tender. We also had beef Momo - it was so tasty and super juicy! It gave a warm, home-cooked meal vibe. And don’t get me started on the Vietnamese ice coffee - it was the perfect ice coffee!

The only thing is service was slow and not very attentive, even though we were the only ones there for a while.”

“This place is so cozy, and the atmosphere is wonderful. You feel really comfortable as soon as you walk in—such good energy! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and they take the time to explain every dish on the menu.

They also have a great variety of vegetarian options. I recommend this place 1,000%! I would definitely come back again. ❤”

“I was out today riding my motorcycle over the mountain and stopped in for a twist cone. Your chocolate and vanilla ice cream is so rich in flavor. I remember if correctly it was called Juergen's Place back in the 1960's.”

“My husband and I have been to breakfast twice in the last month and both times it was delicious. My husband is a big fan of the chicken and waffles. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. We get inspired by the chalkboards for new dinner ideas to cook at home! A++”

“Another great visit to Sharkie’s in Woodstock! We always make it a point to eat here, and it somehow keeps getting better. Stopped in for meatballs and wine while waiting for takeout, loved it so much we stayed an extra day just to come back for meatball subs. Mark is such a warm, genuine owner, and Sharkie’s is truly a safe, welcoming place for all. Bonus: we grabbed frozen meatballs as Christmas gifts and love that they can be delivered now. “Mountain Gate has the best Indian food in the Hudson Valley by far, probably even the entire state. Absolutely love coming here! The chicken vindaloo is always my go-to dish, and my husband loves the shrimp curry. Food is always fresh and just spicy enough. Beautiful decor and super friendly waitstaff. I would definitely recommend Mountain Gate to anyone looking to soothe their Indian food craving.”

“I’ve struggled with finding really delicious wings in the area. It seems like Buffalo was the only place to go-until now. I was recommended to this place and I’m very happy with the quality of the wings. I had Thai and extra hot wings. The only thing is that the extra hot wasn’t hot at all to me. But that’s just me and that certainly doesn’t take away from the quality of the food and the excellent service. Next time I’ll just specify exactly how hot I want the wings. I highly recommend Hickory to anyone who is looking for delicious smoked food.”

“Impressive!! We have been wanting to try this place for quite awhile and came away fat and sassy. Cod special, outstanding. Milanese, just like in Argentina (their chimichurri is quite good). Vegetables cooked to perfection.

“I love this place! Every time I go I find some thing new that becomes my favorite. The egg sandwiches are beyond delicious, I used to get bacon egg and cheese but I’m trying not to eat so much meat so today I got it with avocado mayonnaise and hot sauce and it was ridiculously good. The jerk chicken mango empanada was insane, Hope they make that a regular item.Best BLT ever, Get it with avocado! They now have this incredible stuff to go, the vegetable shepherds pie is a perfect double sider for an easy delicious dinner and the pastries are incredible. I even like their coffee and I don’t usually like anybody’s coffee except Oriole 9. Thank you Nana’s so happy you are back❤️”

“My wife and I ate there for the first time. Food was very good and plentiful. Service could have been a smidgen better. Waitress was nice and polite but should have checked at least once for drink refills. I tried to make reservations for my car club to come there on a given Sunday and time in May, about 10 of us, but was told they don't do that. I guess it's first come, first serve for seating. We want to eat together and would arrive about 1:30PM. I thought we could secure the back room, but no was the answer. It's ok. I understand. No hard feelings. If we were in that area again, we would eat there. We'll just look for another place in Rosendale. Best wishes to that facility.”

Grading on a scale, the food and atmosphere which are literally perfect in almost every way are perfect 11/10 type shit. literally one of he best places for consistently designed and delicious creations i have bewn able to approach in recent months. All of that being said. our server (sofia) was INCREDIBLE. curt but funny. strange and specific. precise and professional. such a cool selection. such a cool place. such a cool human. will be back. so soon.🤗🤗”
