“How much do I love their bakery? I drove from Orange County, NY to pick up 3 dozen Black and white cookies to bring to a party in Massachussets. That is how yummy this bakery is!!!! The staff is just as sweet as the desserts.“

Twice, recently, I dined at I'l Fresco with friends and family members; The words they used to describe Il Fresco were: -Fabulous - dinner was scrumptious -Phenomenal restaurant and staff -Tastiest sauce in the world - delicious hot bread out of the oven. -An Exceptional dining experience. -Amazing homemade tiramisu - wonderful desserts -Best meal ever - better than the meals I had while visiting Sorrento, Italy. From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. “Stop the presses!! I found a great new restaurant where artistry trumps slinging hash. It’s Pop Empanada, re-christened Pop Pasta Supper Club on Thursdays and Saturday nights. On those days, Chef Nicolas Pescatore prepares a 6 course meal, and even if you don’t like every course, you will appreciate the artistry and the ambition. Tonight, the courses were 1. celery avocado salad (replacing salmon, which this landlubber doesn’t like), 2. shrimp empanada in a butter curry sauce, 3. pork belly confit, 4. raviolo-soft boiled egg center in a brown butter sage sauce, 5. brisket ragu paccheri pasta, and 6. dessert of frangelica panna cotta key lime shortbread crumble. The cost with tip is around $100 per person plus the cost of your BYOB. We wouldn’t pay that cost often, but it’s a welcome break from the restaurants where kitchen staff show up at 4 PM and are ready to serve at 5pm.“

“Great customer service. The people who work there are knowledgeable and they have the best stock of bikes around. At 5’1” no one ever has bikes in my size. Not only did Piermont have a bike, they had 4 for me to test. Sunny also told me the size I originally thought I needed was too big and his recommendation for the smaller frame was spot on. I ended up with a 44 cm Cannondale Evo and couldn’t be happier.“

“Was looking for Mediterranean food for my wife and I on a casual evening out and we were not disappointed. Super friendly/helpful staff, wonderful atmosphere, and a wonderful selection of food. My wife and I got a bowl and we both loved it. If you are looking for a counter style Mediterranean place to eat this is a fantastic choice! All the food is made fresh. My wife ordered pita chips and falafel on the side and both were made fresh when we ordered. The pita chips were thick and super crispy. The falafel was incredibly moist too. Highly recommend!“

I recently moved from New York City to Valley Cottage in Rockland County and have been searching for a real NYC-style pizza place. After trying a few spots nearby, I finally found Village Pizza in Nyack — and it’s exactly what I was hoping for!

Tony is super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The service is quick, the staff is great, and the pizza is absolutely delicious — thin crust, perfectly cooked, and tastes just like classic New York City pizza. They even have an extra-large 18-inch pie, which is a huge plus.

They also offer delivery, which is super convenient. If you’re craving genuine NYC-style pizza in Rockland County, Village Pizza is the real deal! 🍕“

I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand.
