“This is a great place right at the crossroads in the village of Orchard Park. Very nice interior lots of rooms with well spaced tables and elegantly done. Food was excellent at a moderate price and I had a dish that I have never had any anywhere before that was just spectacular. Very romantic place as well for those that would like that.“

“While we have always enjoyed our meals at The Mansard in the past, our last two visits have been uninspiring. Our most recent visit on 8/3 was average at best. The bartender had BOTH sliding glass doors (no screens) open in the bar area causing swarms of flies to circle us our ENTIRE meal, in the dining area. Although friendly, our waitress said there were no specials that evening, after I specifically asked what the specials were. I overheard other waitresses telling patrons what the specials were, so I knew there WERE specials. The musty smell of the stained drapery needs to be replaced ASAP, as the odor hits you as soon as you get to the front door. Please be better and ACT like the "fine" dining restaurant you want to be! Very disappointed...The food is the ONLY thing worth coming to The Mansard for...We miss Steve!!“

The Philly Sub was packed and every bite made you want more! The sprouts was the best I ever tasted! And I eat those at least once a week! “Chef’s is a true Buffalo gem for authentic Italian comfort food. From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping back in time—in the best way. The atmosphere is rich with history, and the food absolutely delivers.

We started with the stuffed peppers, which were spicy, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick things off. For our mains, we had both the chicken parm and the eggplant parm—each one was generously portioned and packed with flavor. I tried the “double parm” with both chicken and spaghetti smothered in sauce and cheese. It was delicious, though next time I’d skip the parm on the pasta just for easier eating. Still, no complaints!

The house red wine was smooth and paired beautifully with the meal. And dessert? The cannoli was spot-on—crispy shell, creamy filling, just sweet enough.

Jayme, our server, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and even packed up our leftovers with care. Portions are hearty, so next time we’ll likely split a dinner if we’re ordering apps again.

“Oh my gosh, so we went out to dinner this evening after going to the movies. We went to Winfield Pub in South Buffalo. All I can say is WOW. My husband saw that it had a 4.7 star rating and we'd never been there. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. They have several different beers to offer and even some seasonal ones. Their drink menu is extensive but not daunting and their drinks are super creative. For our starters we got the hop fries with a garlic parmesan aioli which regulars call "crack sauce" I can see why....it's SO good! My husband got the Snout and Stout which is their take on french onion soup but with a pork broth and milk stout added to it with pieces of pork in it. We both tried it and that too was truly delicious it was a great spin on a classic dish. For our entrees my husband got the ribeye and I got the bbq mac and cheese. My husband loved his ribeye it was cooked perfectly and the sides were amazing. My mac and cheese was probably one of the best mac and cheeses I've ever had. They added burnt pork ends and blue cheese to it and it adds such a depth of flavor and richness this comfort food feels so fancy. I enjoyed it thoroughly. For dessert we shared a piece of their Guinness cake. Again, it was rich and delicious the frosting wasn't overly sweet. We brought a little bit of everything home and are looking forward to eating the rest of it tomorrow. Our server was absolutely lovely and so kind and funny. The chef at this restaurant is so creative and thoughtful with every aspect of the experience right down to bringing us the bill in a Christmas Card. This place is 5 stars!“

“Popped in for their one year anniversary where they were offering up dollar slices and I got the New York style and it was solid. Definitely looking forward to visiting again to check out some of their cocktails. I really like their business model and that they are a tip-less establishment because of their practices in paying their employees which is cool.“

“Okay, my fiancé and I go a lot to the hamburg location never ever have a issue… unfortunately today on a Monday night we both got caught up in work late in the night so we went to the location downtown to grab food togo. When arriving home (a 25 minute drive) and opened bag there was No sauce and 6 sides of pickles that wasn’t asked for instead…. Called back right away and asked for a manger (emily), Emily was not only upset and frustrated with us because we are HUGE sauce people but also wanting to fix the issue right away.. we paid cash and opted for a e-gift card, Emily Right away emailed us $50 for our next visit. My fiancé and I had really hard day today and she made a bad day turn to a good ending,“

“I came for the matcha on tap and was not disappointed. As a tea drinker there are not many places to find a good matcha. I purchased the iced pistachio matcha and it was amazing. Their summer bun with homemade plum jam was also very tasty. If you are a vegan, there are plenty of options. I will definitely be coming back at least once a week. The staff was very personable.“

I was torn between the lamb saag and the lamb korma, and our lovely hostess suggested the korma — the lamb was so tender! My friend tried the okra masala for the first time (they have several favorites they rotate through), and was a fan as well.

“Whenever I’m in Hamburg, NY I make a point of trying to have my lunch at Ichiban. It is so delicious and reasonably priced and the wait staff are very friendly. I was just there yesterday September 16, 2025 for lunch and it was wonderful. I informed the waitress that I had an appointment and she made sure I received my food promptly. So many great things to choose from, but I love sashimi!!!!! so I always seem to pick that very nice variety on the luncheon menu.“

“After 20+ times we have not had bad food from Saigon Bangkok once (even when I accidentally ordered the wrong thing.) But let me tell you a secret: Bun Thit Nuong. Not only is it my favorite take on my all time favorite meal, just about everyone I eat with ends up wanting MY Bun Thit Nuong! So I end up ordering it with extra pork. Unfortunately, this just means there's more for THEM to steal. After they finish MY food and I'm still hungry, I'll eat their Pad Thai, Pho, or Basil Fried Rice. And this time I even tried their Wonton Soup. All of it is excellent. I usually get to go but one time I did eat in the restaurant and the service was spectacular. Since they make everything to order they were more than willing to accommodate the dietary needs of my party. I'll keep going back for sure. Next time I'm going to ignore everyone's order and just order Bun Thit Nuong for everyone. They'll thank me later.“

“We just enjoyed a wonderful Breakfast with Santa at The Tewksbury Lodge for the third year in a row. Everything was amazing! The food, the service and the atmosphere were all top notch. Our granddaughters, 5 & 3 yrs old were so excited. Santa greeted all the kids as he entered, and then was so sweet and kind to the all the kids as they were called up, by table, to visit with him at his special chair. Each child received a bag of goodies. You could feel the magic in the air and on the smiles of the kids, parents and grandparents. The Tewksbury Lodge has this breakfast down to a science, systematic and efficient while not rushing at all. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas experience! We'll definitely be back next year! We had an amazing experience at Downtown Bazaar trying the Thai food stall—absolutely delicious! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The Pad Thai was one of the best I’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The green curry was rich, aromatic, and comforting, with tender chicken and just the right amount of heat.

The service was warm and friendly, and the food was served quickly and piping hot. You can tell they care about quality and authenticity. The portions were generous, and prices very reasonable for downtown.

If you're in Buffalo and craving Thai, this spot inside Downtown Bazaar is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!“

One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out.
