“I normally don't review Ice Cream shops but Carvel has servived the times! Over 50 years, I've grew up with Carvel, even when other competing franchise came around in the 80s. I have to comment on this particular location cause of their outstanding service. 3 weeks ago, on a dreary cold rainy day, I came in and saw a happy singing and dancing worker named José. He is such a happy person and sold me with his personality. He told me that there are limited flavors such as the dreamy creamy, the cold brew coffee, and the biscoff. I have been back every week for those same three flavors before they discontinue them LOL. I told his coworkers the following weeks that we should all learn from his pleasant way in life. Customer service was so good here that I actually tip the box something I don't normally do. I don't know about the other locations but I highly recommend this one!“

I got the mango & strawberry in a cup. Lined with chocolate and nuts. Was awesome. Got to sample the milk chocolate as well. VERY GOOD…..“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“Among the best dessert on this side of Jamaica. So many options! From Belgian waffles to bubble style, crepes stuffed or glazed donuts, cones, cups, etc to start. Then you get to the ice cream, signature options, my goodness. Absolutely superb. Service was friendly even at midnight and with a long line! The staff was patient, attentive and seem like they enjoy what they do. The spot itself is very clean, limited seating but what you would expect at a dessert spot. You would not be disappointed.“

“The first time I tried them was at the Rockefeller center which I saw it on TikTok and wanted to see if it was worth the hype. I got the s’mores hot chocolate back in December 2024 and omg the best hot chocolate ever don’t go to any of the hot chocolate spots except this one because this was truly worth the hype. Now I went to go to their actual store (Sep 2025) they had a S’mores frozen hot chocolate which I got that, the customer service was amazing! The guy & girl were really nice. Now on to my drink which was the first time I had frozen hot chocolate and it was amazing!! I ended up going with the black and white sesame cookie flavor — I’d HIGHLY recommend it. The prices are a bit higher than other ice cream shops, but not that much more than most specialty shops these days, but the topping and drizzle of your choice that come with the scoop made it feel worth the cost, especially since there’s lots of yummy and unique options for that as well. At other gelato/ice cream spots, trying different flavors is usually met with annoyance by the employees, but Linda was happy to recommend flavors to us and let us try them to make sure we made the right choice. I love that Amorino lets you put as many flavors as you want in your chosen size. I was absolutely amazed by the richness of the flavors and textures of the gelato.
