“I normally don't review Ice Cream shops but Carvel has servived the times! Over 50 years, I've grew up with Carvel, even when other competing franchise came around in the 80s. I have to comment on this particular location cause of their outstanding service. 3 weeks ago, on a dreary cold rainy day, I came in and saw a happy singing and dancing worker named José. He is such a happy person and sold me with his personality. He told me that there are limited flavors such as the dreamy creamy, the cold brew coffee, and the biscoff. I have been back every week for those same three flavors before they discontinue them LOL. I told his coworkers the following weeks that we should all learn from his pleasant way in life. Customer service was so good here that I actually tip the box something I don't normally do. I don't know about the other locations but I highly recommend this one!“

I got the mango & strawberry in a cup. Lined with chocolate and nuts. Was awesome. Got to sample the milk chocolate as well. VERY GOOD…..“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“We stopped in out of curiosity—just to see what they had—and ended up splitting two flavors of absolutely superb gelato! I started with a taste of walnut & fig (excellent), then we asked the server what his favorite flavors are. He said raspberry, which a lot of people pair with ferrero rocher. We chose raspberry as well as salted caramel, and loved every delicious taste of both flavors. It’s a tiny place, but well worth seeking it out.“

“I have went to many froyo store but this one takes the cake the store is always very clean and organized, the best thing about this store is the staff they are all very welcoming, one of the girl helped me open the door when I was having difficulty and they are very sweet to little kids always assisting them with amazing manners they are the sweetest and I can see that all the staff focus on cleanliness of their toppings and the way they deal with their products I definitely recommend this place

Total cost was pretty good value and the space was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was that it was pretty busy, so order took a while and also I can see it might be difficult to get a seat during peak hours. Good thing most people are in and out pretty quickly. Also, there was a credit card processing fee if you choose to pay by card, which I thought was a bit uncommon in NY..“

The staff is nice, polite and very skilled. Food and drinks are top quality with modest price. However, we want to tell you more; favourite food, among the others, are croissants, tart and all the deliciuos small cakes. Not to mention the excellent homemade ice creams. Nothing is left to chance, also our pet friends were super happy to taste the eccellent cookies. Special mention to Enzo who makes the best omelette in town. “Wow. Brand new, friendly, great business in a great neighborhood, Prospect Lefferts Garden. Would have been great if it was just good, but omg it is honestly the BEST ice cream I’ve had in Brooklyn. Awesome, creative new flavors every week. Yesterday’s was malted ice cream with chopped malted-milk balls. Also mint ice cream made with mint leaves. Another made with honey that also had some chili heat (forgot the name)—all amazing. Go now before you can’t get in.“

“The best ice cream in town, surely the best I have eaten yet. The store offers a variety of of creamy flavours, chocolates and cookie doughs. I can recommend the cookies and cream sundae, an easy 10/10. Only downside is the price of 12$ per cup and the waiting time.“
