“So glad we stopped by!! The rest of the family was opting for fast food but I saw this place on Yelp and wanted to check it out. It’s small but the service was super fast even though the place was full. Food was delish and so fresh - we got burgers, fries, a quesadilla that had good seasoning on the chicken - it wasn’t a typical bland chicken quesadilla. And the kids liked the “Bag o’ lemonade!”“

“My go-to spot for pizza is this place. They also provide good service. I once called them before closing time to place a pickup order, and they graciously accommodated my request despite knowing it was too late. I wanted to show my appreciation for that.“

“This is like quick stop Panera. There is table and bar sitting available. I feel service is slow here possibly due to short staff. But otherwise the place is quiet and clean. They don't have fountain drinks but coffee and lemonades are available.“

“The pizza is excellent, there is a modest amount of space to eat in, and they have a bar so customers can enjoy an adult beverage with their meal. Friendly service and a reasonable wait makes this good value for one’s money. We will be back!“

“Didn’t expect to find my best crispy pork belly of the year at a Thai spot!!! The skin was insanely crisp yet slightly chewy. The dipping sauce on the side was perfectly balanced.

For the main, we went with the panang short ribs. The beef was coated in a rich, mildly spicy curry. We added steamed veggies instead of rice and they fit curry.“

“I’m Chinese myself so you know I needed to snag some NYC Chinese food where I could, visiting. The Braised Shredded Beef Noodle Soup was great but let me tell you about the PORK SOUP DUMPLINGS! They were so delicious, the soup was very flavorful and the wrapper wasn’t too thick! The pork was tender inside and paired so well with a classic vinegar soy dumpling sauce. I’d say the price isn’t too bad at all for area as well!“

“Glad to see Uzbekistani cuisine on Ave I. The restaurant has a surprisingly large dining area with private rooms available, which is a nice touch.

The food was good overall. Their kebabs were solid, and I especially enjoyed the lula kebab. Prices are on the higher side 💰$$, but worth trying if you're in the mood for this style of cuisine.

“Even though the restaurant is very busy during lunch hour, they always have someone on the floor to help with questions, greet customers, and take care of messes. I appreciate when a business doesn't under-staff or cut corners. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. “Came for the smashburger on NYE and it was probably the best burger I’ve had all year. The flavors work together so well with the perfectly juicy patty, and the fried duck egg (a must!) is the icing on the cake. Paired it with the rice lager beer and it was the perfect lunch - just wish they offered it during dinner as well. Service can be a bit slow during peak hours but they were all very nice.“

“Ordered two pizzas. Pizza crusts were spot on and tasty...overall some good pizzas. The sauce though.
A previous review mentioned the sauce was sweet but that they probably don't add sugar to their tomato sauce. I would disagree with that assumption. Half way through the pizza ... The sweetness kinda took over for me. And that's just a personal preference maybe?

Service was cold and not the friendliest.
The set up itself was decent enough and clean... They had some latin music playing which was ok.

I'm not sure I'd come back if I was in New York next. If you enjoy sweet pizza sauce you'll love this place because the crust was really good :) Just the sweetness of the sauce was not to my taste.“

“Okay this is a little updated review. I still love Eden's after years of patronage and they are my go to for lunch pretty much everyday of the week but I also found weird fiber stuff in my salad today and I'm pretty sure I ate a lot of it. I really hope it's not like plastic fibers or hairs...

One other feedback would be please don't skip massaging the kale for the GOAT bowl. I get the GOAT all the time and 90 % of the time it's perfect but occasionally I get just very raw, unmassaged kale that is very difficult to eat haha. Otherwise you guys are awesome, keep making amazing salads.“

We enjoyed the calamari, hummus, and the mixed grill and decided the lamb chops were the best part. All of it was delicious but I would order just lamb chops next time, the mixed grill is a nice way to try several meats. The hummus and pita were very good as was the calamari and the sauce it was served with was very nice as well.“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. “This restaurant was excellent! It’s similar to Chipotle in the sense that you can build your own bowl, but with Indian dishes instead.

Seating is limited with reservations becoming necessary to guarantee a space, but honestly the space is the perfect set up for good conversation. The quality was immediately apparent... the prosciutto was buttery on the palate and the house pickled veggies added a bright, fresh note. For the mains, the cacio e pepe had the perfect creamy texture (I need the chef to teach me their ways for this!), well-balanced salt to black pepper, and good bite to the pasta. My husband was lucky enough to snag the final duck ragu special of the evening and (wow!) we're so glad to have done so. Perfectly cooked with tender meat and flavors that transported us right back to the osterias on the streets of Italy. We ended with the tiramisu (light and creamy) and a pistachio affogato, which did get a bit outshined. Hospitality was top notch here making this is a “must add” meal experience for your list.
