“If you want some good ol' Dominican food without breaking the bank, this is the spot. I had chicharron de pollo. My hubby had the roasted chicken with rice and beans and it was also good. The only reason I put 4 for atmosphere is because the place looked kinda bare. They could improve the atmosphere a little with some minimal decore like something on their tables or wall decor. Maybe it looks better at night.“

“I had an unforgettable experience at MyMoon! I took my friend to celebrate her birthday, and from start to finish, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel celebrated — they truly made the night special. The drinks were amazing — the Strawberry MyMoon and Lavender Sour were both perfectly crafted and delicious. The food was full of authentic Spanish flavors and beautifully presented. MyMoon is the perfect spot for a celebration, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone who wants excellent service, fantastic drinks, and delicious food!“

“We attended a birthday party here held in one of their private rooms last weekend. The food was served buffet style and was excellent. We particularly liked the baked clams, octopus, and paella. The sangria was perfect, great flavor and not too sweet. Service was excellent and all servers were very accommodating. We look forward to eating in their dining room one day soon.“

“I went to El Pingüino about two weeks ago and absolutely loved that they offer happy hour seven days a week and it’s becoming a routine for us!
The hours are 4–7 PM, plus a late-night happy hour from 10 PM to midnight.
Their seafood happy hour is pretty simple they only offer one type of oyster but it was super fresh and delicious. Clean, lightly briny, and perfect with just a squeeze of lemon.
And they have really great basque cheesecake!
The overall vibe is relaxed and easygoing, making it a great spot to unwind after work or grab a late-night drink.
If you’re in Greenpoint and love oysters, this place is definitely worth checking out.“

“Been passing this spot on my way to work for years and never thought to give it a go. Let me tell you, the food is absolutely 🔥🚒. I could tell the chef knows more than a things or two about flavors. By far the best dish I had was the Ribeye steak with a red wine reduction. Damn near almost ate the plate 😂. Highly recommended 🤤👌🏽“

“I stepped in here because I wanted a coffee but it was a pleasant little surprise. The lunch special is reasonably good. Rice , beans and chicken for $10 in dumbo? That’s a deal. It was seasoned well and tasty. I had some coffee too. Would absolutely come back here again if I’m in the area.“

I got their charcuterie, hamachi crudo, and duck breast as well as their albarino wine. Everything was great to share. I loved their wine selection and would highly recommend adding at least a glass to pair with your meal. Out of the dishes that I got, the favorite was definitely the duck breast which had a date-based puree that was absolutely delicious. The other bites were alright. Nonetheless, it was a very warm and cozy vibe—great for an intimate dinner!“

“I was impressed with the visit. I expected it to be your typical bar & grill but to my surprise it was more. The atmosphere was inviting as soon as I walked in. The waitress Leilany was awesome and knowledgeable. I had the lunch special and the chicken mofongo and cheese empanadas were delicious, and I washed it all down with a thirst quenching midday rum punch.“
