“This place is amazing... it even smells amazing but, if you are a tourist you have to know what you want before you get there. The bakery is frequented by locals who are in a hurry and know what they want. The only list of bread items is on the website so I suggest you check that out before going. The pastries and cookies are magnificent, especially the Italian assortment This is a must for food lovers!.“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

They have catered kiddushin and a wedding for us and we were always greatly satisfied. “The cookies are good but a bit over rated. I love the cool flavors and the fact that the menu changes weekly but sometimes the cookies are way too sweet. There is usually a long line at this location but the employees are pretty fast so the wait is never more than 5-10 minutes. It would be nice if there were places to sit inside the establishment.“

Jess was prompt and helpful in her communications, giving color and design thoughts for my vague idea of "bears," to help set my order. When I picked up the desserts, everything was packaged so securely I had no concern about getting it home safely. Most importantly, everything tasted and looked absolutely amazing! “Fleetwood Bakery made our wedding cake experience amazing! Filomena met with us and provided us with such a great selection for our tasting. We were able to combine both of our favorites in a beautiful 2 tier wedding cake. On our wedding day, they delivered directly to the venue. The cake looked stunning and tasted incredible. They have many treats and I saw some gorgeously decorated chocolate strawberries and I thought the price was amazing for the presentation. I think a dozen strawberries were $36 which is a bargain compared to other places who make subpar looking strawberries . I would have loved to receive them as a gift myself !

“As charming as the bakery is, it pales in comparison to Miss Eleanor, the owner. Over the past several years I developed a sensitivity to wheat, so I wanted a gluten-free snack. She had a wide selection of sweets (cupcakes, cookies, brownies) but I saw the picture of biscuits and quickly decided to enjoy them with my coffee.

I took Ms Eleanor up on her offer to warm them up and chatted while waiting for my order to be complete. We had a lovely conversation about so many things - food, travel, career changes.

The biscuits were delicious and very reasonably priced so I’ll have to make my way back soon.

“I have been going to the official cake lady now for 10-11 years and about 3-4 times in a year. Kim never ever disappoints. She makes our vision come to life. The cake is so good we drive over an hour to pick it. Kim is always professional and listens to every detail needed for the cake.
The cakes are always moist and delicious . We will continue to drive to get our cakes.

My boyfriend is obsessed with the chocolate croissants. I believe all of them are under $4 which is pretty good considering how large they are. We had a traveling themed bridal shower and Wildly Cakes was able to make this beautiful world map on the side. But it doesn’t just end there the cake itself tasted delicious. We got a vanilla cake with cookie butter filling and all my guests ranted and raved on how good it was. We actually have our wedding cake being made by them too and we cannot wait to see and taste it especially after this great first impression.“
