“ABSOLUTELY BEST TIME OF MY LIFE AT A D&B. I used to be an avid fan, but after a few TERRIBLE experiences, I gave up. Advance to tonight and being dragged there for a friends wish i went along begrudgingly. TODAY WAS A WIN HERE! Our server (Brianna) was beyond wonderful. From her drink suggestions to food ideas, we were amazed! Her service wasn't just professional. She made us feel like family!!! The food was outstanding, and the drinks were phenomenal a bit again. The highlight was Brianna. We talked about food video games and her favorite things to eat at D&B. I'm now a returning fan thank to this amazing place and bigger thanks to Brianna!!! And to think we were thinking about NOT sitting in the dining room 🙄 we would have lost out big time. LOL, GIVE THAT WONDERFUL HUMAN A RAISE !!!

The fact that people like her are so good at their profession speaks volumes for the management of this location, supporting and making their team feel valued. GREAT JOB !!!

We came for the a la carte menu and the standout dishes for us were the longgonisa, the momo, the trout, and number one was the pork belly. We stopped in after a Sunday Broadway matinee Very friendly staff Started with a red Wine Sangria and Hibiscus Margarita, both were very tasty Had the Tacos and Clara Burgher (angus beef). Again all food items were perfectly prepared as ordered. Finished with coffee , tea, and cinnamon churros Great service throughout the meal. Server kept checking to make sure everything was perfect. The girl behind the bar came over to check if we liked our drinks (we did). Place was very clean. Staff was super friendly and food was delicious $100 with tax and tip. Well worth the money we will be returning again soon.“

“I came here on a wednesday night with my wife after a day of travelling and our waitress Nia was very helpful. My wife had some questions about the menu and Nia was very knowledgeable. We don't eat out often and Nia helped us understand the promotions on the menu. The drinks were strong and did not taste watered down. Overall I am very happy with this experience. This was a very filling and cost effective date.“

“We decided to drop in for a nightcap before returning to the city, eager to sample the highly praised cocktails. If you have a sweet tooth and enjoy a bit of tardiness, I highly recommend the "Scent of a Woman" cocktail. Although my partner found "Josephine Noir" a bit too sweet.

We also got the tuna tartare to share - the portion was small and it lacked flavors. The item was unexpectedly expensive at $23. We were a bit taken aback by the prices, as they seemed to be comparable to those in Manhattan.“

“Update: Unfortunately I have to deduct a star because I ordered the cilantro marinated chicken breast with angel hair and the chicken was hard and dry and the pasta was mushy and completely bland and unseasoned.

My first time ordering from here and the food was really good. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was so good that I ordered dinner from there that same night. Both arrived hot and fresh. The only thing is that I thought the chicken sandwich came with salad (as pictured) but it came with fries. Either way everything was really good. They also have one of the best chai lattes I’ve tried in the city.“

“I'd like to give kudos to Nick and his staff at Veranda Restaurant & Cafe. We held my daughter's bridal shower brunch for 22 people there today under the pergola. The food was excellent, and the waitstaff led by Daniel was impeccable! I highly recommend this venue.

Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to cilantro, so they prepared guacamole specially for me without this ingredient.
