“This spot was fire 🔥. Total hidden gem. The food came out fast, hot, and the portions are MASSIVE. I wasn’t expecting to be this full lmao. The hibachi chef had jokes the whole time and actually made it fun — not just the usual “cook and leave” type thing. Staff was super nice too, no attitude, just good vibes all around. If you’re looking for solid food, chill energy, and want to get more than what you paid for, this is it. I’m 100% coming back.“

“This lovely, warm restaurant on a cold night satisfies everyone and has superb food, great service, and you never leave hungry. It's owner is on site and is always checking on her customers. Make a reservation as it gets very busy, and the parking is valet because it's limited. However I promise you that you won't be disappointed. It is a bit more expensive than your local take out restaurant, but the crispy shredded beef is phenomenal, the chicken and string beans had so much flavor, along with a chicken and broccoli dish. “I went to pick up my To Good To Go seafood boil order. The woman said it’ll be ready in 10 minutes. I waited patiently. I got my food packaged nicely so no leaks would occur. Very pleased with my seafood boil. This was my first boil I’ve ever had and I’m very pleased. 10/10 will come again. I paid $10 for a $30 dollar value seafood boil.“

“Overall, Haiku is pretty good, they are consistent and I like them. To my understanding, there are 3 locations around me including the White Plains, Scarsdale and Bronxville locations. I have found that the Bronxville location ONLY charges me for a lesser substititution. I ordered a sushi roll and opted out of TUNA for a substitution that is cheaper in price, and I was charged a fee, again, only at this location, as I have done this at the White Plains/Scarsdale locations and no additional fee was charged. I cannot see why I was charged a fee, like I said, the replacement that I opted for is lesser in price than tuna and I believe the sushi is made fresh everytime, so I would say it was an INCONVENIENCE fee, but in this instance, I don't know if that can be applied, but who knows. Again, only at this location. Just a heads up for fellow customers.“

“I am a famously fussy eater and vegetarian, so most of the time if my loved ones are getting sushi I either don’t eat at the restaurant or get a small side dish that I can have. At Hajime they had so many options that I could choose from I was very surprised.
I really wanted the fried noodles but it came with chicken and vegetables, but our very friendly waiter said without the chicken was really no problem. I also let him know that I can’t have any spice and he reassured me when I ordered and again when it arrived that there was no spice and he even waited for me to take a mouthful of a food to ensure it was okay for me. I’ve never felt so cared about in a restaurant before and I was so grateful to him for caring about a seemingly fussy girl.

We genuinely had the best time here for my fiancés birthday, and after our entrees they brought us a huge plate of different sorbets with a candle in. We had no idea they were doing this and it was such a thoughtful touch.
I very much got the vibe of a family business that has been around a while, quietly serving the most delicious food. Truly a hidden gem! I got the boneless spare ribs, house special lo mein, egg drop wonton soup and broccoli with garlic sauce. Everything tastes amazing! Food was fresh and portion size was large. What my taste buds miss from the good quality Chinese food I got as a kid. I hope the standards keep up. This is definitely going to be my go-to moving forward. I definitely recommend.“
