I picked up a small strawberry shortcake (made with fresh strawberries) and it was a huge hit! Like other reviews mention, this is an “old school bakery” vibe, no frills, just a large variety of home made delicious treats and reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend to anyone in the area in need of a special order dessert, last minute needs, or just something really yummy to enjoy! ***cash only“

“My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . Service was excellent, took a little while as it was SO busy but it was absolutely worth the wait!! Obviously amazing when locals are lined up out the door to get bagels.

After reaching out to customer service the issue was fixed. It was annoying that the reason was incorrectly marked as customer didn't want the order. The actual reason was that store was out of stock after placing the order and then I had to go through these hoops. Regardless over all, updating rating to 4 because the cakes here are great.

I placed an order last month, they were out of stock and had to call me to say they would have to cancel. They did not cancel till the delivery guy came to pick it up and creating a lot of confusion. Since then I've been waiting for a refund. I've called over 10 times over the last 2 weeks and never been able to get through no matter the time of day. There is no email. There is no customer service for such issues. Posting here as the last ditch effort before flagging them for fraudulent charges.“
