“Dave and I were neighborhood friends. My mother in-law passed away and we reached out last minute for food for after the funeral. Very italian family. Dave came through with amazing food. My wifes family raved about the food and that is coming from italians that used to own there own restaurant. You can't get a better review than that. Thank you again Dave.“

“04/11/24We were in town for car repair and researched local Indian Restaurants near our location. This was not near us, but chose it based on earlier reviews. I will say that this restaurant lives up to all the excellent reviews posted. The meals can be described as Asian with Indian infusion. My husband and I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Onion Fritta, and Crispy Cauliflower dish. The chicken and onion dishes were traditional style Indian cuisine. The Cauliflower was simular to the texture and seasoning of General Tso's chicken (awsome). The owner is very professional and helpful. My husband walks with a cane and the owner was aware to sit him at a table suitable. I am glad we took the time to venture out to this new restaurant. This location is located close to IONA college, campus housing and accessible from the sidewalk to handicapped individuals. The owner opened this location 5 months ago. I highly recommend you visit here soon! You will not be disappointed.“

“We have a lot of fond memories on Glen Island so it only is appropriate to have a wedding there. Met with Rocco he was extremely helpful. Because of Covid restrictions and other family emergencies we had to put the planning of our wedding on hold. We recently looked at this venue and it is looking like this place will be the winner for having our winter wedding in 2022. Tasteful decor, classy, elegant but not ostentatious or over the top like some of the other venues, which is exactly my style.“

“My dream venue was a castle on the beach, and Whitby is a castle overlooking the water (in the distance, close enough). It has all the charm and character of an historic castle, but it also has a modern ballroom and amenities. The location was central to us in Connecticut and our friends and family in NYC, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. The one weird thing is that, on Saturdays, they have two weddings, one in the early afternoon and one in the late evening. For this reason, we chose to have our wedding on a Friday, and it worked out perfectly. We were able to rent the bridal suite and have the place to ourselves for the whole day, and it was so convenient to get ready and have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in the same place. From Niki the catering sales manager to Ralph the operations manager/our maitre d' to Roxie our bridal attendant, the staff was incredible. Niki and Ralph went through every detail with us, answered our millions of questions, and accommodated last-minute changes flawlessly. Roxie was so helpful and knowledgeable, from offering my mom heel protectors to assisting with my dress. The in-house catering was delicious and plentiful, too. We were allowed to customize the menu by mixing and matching ingredients from different dishes. As if getting married in front of a castle isn't amazing enough, they really level up the outdoor ceremony experience by having the bride make a surprise entrance from the willow tree on the opposite side of the lawn. All of the guests were blown away. We also used this tree for our first look and couple portraits. I felt that Whitby was reasonably priced for an all-inclusive venue with such amazing service and food. I would recommend it a million times over.“

“Highly recommend Chef Abyssinia and her team. She provided a dinner experience at our home that was really great and that we all thoroughly enjoyed. She has a wide selection of options available for hors d'oeuvres, entrees, sides and desserts, which was great as our guests had different dietary restrictions. The food Chef Abyssinia prepared was excellent and her professionalism, flexibility, friendliness and expertise helped make the evening fun and stress free for us as hosts (her team also handled pre-dinner set up and cleaning up afterwards). We will be using Chef Abyssinia's services again.“

They also have a nice size parking lot for you and your guests. I've searched different halls for events and always end up choosing Julianos. Don't even know why I look around lol. I was worried when it came out fried and not grilled, but it was so tender, so flavorful. I had the halibut over mushroom risotto and DH had the whole black bass. From the beginning of the planning process until the big day, John Gresia and his team made the process of wedding planning a breeze. John had recommendations for local vendors, in which we used his vendor John for the photobooth, and we cannot say enough good things! Aside from being a beautiful, local venue, the food and attention to detail were excellent. My husband and I had our reception at the Westchester Manor on November 11th, 2023 and it exceeded our expectations in every way! We received positive feedback from all our friends and family, which made it all the more worth it. Our guests to this day are still complimenting us on the service and the food served from cocktail hour, through dinner and dessert. John was always available to answer any questions, was super accommodating through the process, and made everything run even more seamlessly the day of. I cannot wait to have future events here. “Delizia has delicious food when you are having a party catered. The little garlic bites are easy for guests to handle. They serve up pasta, chicken and salads that are delicious. We also had tasty broccoli. Sorry I didn't get photos because it was a private party. I didn't feel comfortable photographing the buffet table. Finally had the opportunity to try it out, i ordered the Jerk Chicken lunch and Oxtail lunch with seasoned rice, candied yams and mac & cheese. Everything was delicious - i love that the meat falls off the bone of the chicken and oxtail... also the candied yams were cooked just right (not overly soggy)i was expecting bigger portions but im ok to sacrifice quantity for quality... They have a bunch of baked goods and pies that i havent tried yet. Also, they may not have everything on the menu as they are still getting going - so worth calling to see whats available that day. We were impressed by the pre-event coordination and care shared to ensure a good plan. Renee's hired staff was professional and made our guests comfortable with their food and beverage services. Unfortunately, the owner (a super nice gentleman) has a group of consistently miserable people working for him. Ordering anything, especially asking for no lettuce, you will get an exasperated look , followed by a look of contempt at the end. Sad to see these people have come to work here from wherever they're from and feel entitled enough to treat this man's customers that way. “I was here on business. I went to familiar territory. Wegmans. Who doesn't like Wegmans? Surely not me. Wegmans has their formula down to a science. I ordered at the burger bar. I am currently doing the CARNIVORE diet and ordered just cheeseburgers patties. They were used to dealing with peculiar requests. The burgers were made, but they forgot the cheese. When I went low key upset (but always respectful) they promptly fixed it by handing me 3 slices of cheese and patting me on the head. Anywho, there are the regular tables and booths where you can have a seat and eat your food. There was plenty of space. I went during dinner and there were maybe 5 or 6 people sitting in the dining area designed for 60. After eating, I went to buy some essentials in the grocery store section. I literally bought bacon and cooked it in the hotel room the next day. lol.“
