“--- I had a fantastic experience at North Pelham Bar & Grill on 5th Ave in Pelham! From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff set the tone for a great evening. The food was delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The drinks were well-made, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. “Stay Away!!! Just kidding, this spot is popular and rightfully so for all the right reasons. The atmosphere is bot chill and warm for lounge lizards wanting a great watering hole. The drinks are fantastic, The Monk Fashioned being my favorite, reminds me of a magical Sazerac. The food here is delicious too, been a couple times and look forward to returning again soon. Love the Sweet And Salty Grilly with Gruyère, Prosciutto, Fig Spread, Arugula on Sour Dough. The Fonduey Mac & Cheese is also a cooze fest of cheesy goodness, also the Whipped Feta with the Everything Bagel Pretzel. Always love to get the Crab Cakes. Though I’m eyeing the Skewered Thighs for next time they look like a divine dine. Fortunately we’ve gotten in without a reservation, though I’m sure it’s good to have one.“

“We had our wedding at Rialto and couldn’t imagine a perfect ceremony and reception.

Dominic and the Rialto team were incredible. Super attentive and went out of their way to make sure our day was as special as can be.

We have no idea how but they managed to make sure the food was always fresh and hot when served, even the branzino, which is not easy to do all at once for ~75 people. Seriously impressive.

They really outdid themselves and we will definitely come back to Rialto for dinner which now holds a special place in our hearts. ❤“

“A friend recommended this place so, today, we decided to give it a try. We arrived there right after they open and the place was empty- as expected. We sat in the patio. The space is clean, small but cozy and well decorated. Nice atmosphere; however, I couldn't help but wonder where was the emergency exit because I felt a bit confined with tables, chairs, restaurant equipment, kitchen and restrooms within inches- not even feet- of each other. But anyway, the servers were friendly and didn't rush us to order. I liked that. We ordered an espresso martini, a passion fruit margarita and a lemonade. We also had the chicken empanadas, the bbq wings and the shrimp taco. Everything was good and presented in good timing. We liked that the background music is diverse and the volume right on point.
I'm giving 4 stars because I found it a little pricey. The Golden Hour prices are just a couple of dollars less than the regular prices and, one more thing, the place is not handicap accessible and older folks may have to be careful with the steps at the entrance and the limited space inside.“

“Excellent atmosphere. Comfy seating, bar seats, or small tables, there’s a spot for anyone. The craft control menu was great, hard to choose which one to try. Extensive list of wines and spirits as well. Gonna have to try some food next time I come visit the city.“

“This bar is amazing and is one of my favorites in the neighborhood. They have fantastic Happy Hour deals ($10 cocktails and $1 oysters). The oysters are huge and fresh.

Also wanted to give a huge shout out to the jazz band on Sundays. They’re incredible musicians and really elevate the experience.

“You have to get your silverware, clean table, get your own drink. However, my turkey sandwich was delicious. I would return to Uptown Garrison again to eat the same sandwich. I have never had such a scrumptious sandwich. I am still thinking about the sandwich as I write this.“

“There are many excellent Greek restaurants in Astoria and Ambrosia Garden can hold its own with all of them. The decor is splendid. It feels like you are being teleported to an intimate Greek island. Pavlos, our server, was top notch. Every dish we had was on point. The meal started with fresh house baked bread and olive oil. Excellent. We then ordered the Hellenic salad, tzatziki, a couple of glasses of Cava and some wine. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, my wife and mother in law ordered two branzinos and my father in law ordered the cod special. I loved it all. My father in law thought that the cod was too salty and Pavlos was extremely apologetic. He proceeded to give us a couple of desserts on the house. Amazing. Each are done in house and they are special. We had a sticky cake layer topped with a cream and pistachio. It was divine and then we had their famous orange cake. So good. I finished off the meal with a perfect double espresso. Thank you Pavlos and thank you Ambrosia Garden for a wonderful experience.“

“I went to this establishment on Cinco De Mayo and when I mean they are the sweetest people ever. It’s a family owned restaurant and the atmosphere gives that. Me and my cousin was served right away. The drinks were delicious and the tacos 5 out of 5. Although I didn’t get to experience their entire menu because they just made a menu for that day I was so pleased. I had a conversation with one of the workers who took time out to speak with me and my cousin she gave us the history of their restaurant and more. God bless them. They gained a returning customer for sure. Can’t wait to go back and experience the full menu. “Fillmore Deli and Backroom is a pretty solid neighborhood spot with a surprising mix of options. The Korean fried chicken is actually really good crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. They also have a large variety of sandwiches, so there’s something for whatever mood you’re in.

One thing that always throws me off though is they tend to run out of the tuna pretty often, which is strange for a deli. But besides that, everything else seems to be okay. It’s a reliable place to grab a quick bite and the food usually hits the spot.“

“Delicious food, everything we had was amazing and full of flavor. Everything comes in small portions we got the large tuna tar tar for $24 and it was only 4 small pieces but very delicious nonetheless. We loved the wagyu sliders they were so juicy, the fries were not worth the truffle up-charge. The bao bun flight is also very good we really like the shrimp and chicken ones. The chicken tacos were also really good and one of the more filling things we ordered. Restaurant is very small so make a reservation to be safe.“

We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables.
