From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt special welcoming, and just the right place to soak in such an important day. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated without being over the top. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely happy for us, which made the experience even more meaningful. “Lorbirds is our favorite spot. I’m not a burger person. Never have been. The bacon jam burger here will change anyone’s thinking. It’s amazing. Along with so many of their dishes. Servers are all wonderful and the owner is beyond pleasant to chat with. 20/10. Can’t wait for summer and outdoor dining here.“

“I got married on 9/13/2025 at 916 Riverside and it was one of the best wedding related decisions my husband and I made. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on site and it was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The ceremony was held outdoors on their patio, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how visually stunning it was. We primarily communicated with Jake, the owner, and Brooke, one of the head staff. They were both incredibly helpful and responded immediately whenever we reached out. Anytime I suggested something or asked if it was possible to do X, Y, or Z - Jake accepted with open arms and supported all of our ideas to make our big day personable and meaningful. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but doing so via Jake and Brooke made it as painless as possible, and that is something I am very grateful for. Staff paid attention to small details and ensured that everything got done in the way we envisioned and requested. At the end of our reception, Jake’s staff cleaned up quickly and packed all decorations and center pieces onto two designated tables, which made it that much easier for my husband and I to pick up and pack up everything the day after. Everything went smoothly from start to finish and there’s truly nothing I can critique. 916 Riverside will always be special to us, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat for any couples who are hunting for a venue. “Dined here last evening. The warm brie appetizer was very good and a nice change from ordinary appetizers. The steak was very tender and cooked to perfection. Today, my husband suggested this place, but at first I was skeptical. It was a house in a neighborhood.

“We celebrated my husband’s birthday there last night, and knowing it would be bumping, we called and made a reservation. When my son’s game at a local indoor center ran over by almost 30 minutes, I called and told them we would be late. They accommodated us and seated us immediately upon arrival. About 10 minutes later, at 8pm, the live music started. It was wonderful music, but where we were seated was in front of the speakers and two of our party wear hearing aides. When it looked like we were going to have to cut our celebration short, our server, the wonderful Marcy, and another gentleman, worked to get us seating in the lower dining room in front. We were so grateful for the accommodations, and everyone was super nice about it. The food and drinks were outstanding, of course. The service was impeccable, and our night, which could have gone south so quickly, was made! And hopefully a younger, hipper crew moved into our table and enjoyed the wonderful music! The band was great and we really enjoyed it still from where we ended up! So cheers to the staff at AG! We will be back (and know where to ask to sit next time! Haha)!!“

Not to mention extremely accommodating!I work with individuals that need different levels of support based on their different abilities and medical diagnosis' .I frequently take my clients out to do fun things like bowling in the community. This time, the man that was working noticed very quickly that we were having a hard time finding the right ball and keeping the ball out of the gutter. He came over and pulled up the bumpers and found the perfect ball for my client to use. He was so helpful and kind the entire time we were there and made a huge difference in my clients experience! “We went on a weekend around 3:30 during the winter, so it was quiet. The bartender took our order and served us. He chatted with us just the right amount. Food came out soon, was delicious and good size portions. I had burger and it was temped correctly. Hubby had a Philly cheese steak and loved it. We will go back to check it out when we can sit outside.“
