Here are my reasons:1) Time Management + Customer Service: I believe the time it takes to be served after placing an order is crucial in any restaurant. I'm not suggesting service should be as quick as a fast food chain's, but I've often experienced extremely long waits, almost an hour, especially in diners during weekends. Since my visit was on a Sunday morning and the place was full of customers, I was concerned about a possible long wait. However, our welcoming server, Deanna, quickly took my order and kindly recommended options as I was contemplating among several choices. To my surprise, I received my food within 5 minutes. I was impressed and realized this efficiency was possible because all staff members were handling their responsibilities professionally and promptly. Therefore, I was very satisfied and wish to praise their professionalism.2) Food: Naturally, food is also a crucial factor in evaluating restaurants. I tried the ‘Biscuit Bowl,’ which includes biscuits, eggs, potatoes, and bacon with a special sauce. It was delightful. The dish was neither too salty nor too sweet, striking a perfect balance. “A beautiful building in a quiet remote location just a few minutes from Baldwinsville. My first visit here was for a Mardi Gras show by the Soda Ash Six. They had a special menu of cocktails, apps and mains for the show. I ordered a spicy rum cocktail to start, along with the Oyster Po Boy sandwich with fries. I asked for garlic aioli instead of ketchup for no upcharge. Everything was perfectly done. I finished with a blackberry gin based cocktail for dessert. I would easily come here again.“

They were fairly dead, but the bartender was very attentive and made sure we had refills and that all was well. “Nice little Pub in Baldwinsville off the beaten path. I think it's part of the golf course and is nestled back in the trees.I had a very good meal with friends. My side salad was very nice size, and fresh and delicious, way nicer than a tiny bowl of just lettuce. My (haddock) fish sandwich was quite large, perfectly fried and bonus was that it was on a brioche roll.One friend had the Reuben which she declared delicious, even though she is not a fan of sauerkraut!The other friend had the 1/2 pound burger which she also enjoyed very much.“

I think I was told this was the oldest eatery in town or something like that. So this is my 2nd time eating here. I got the Snappy dog and Frank dog. The snappy has a slightly distinct taste compared to the traditional frank dog. Both dogs (w/ chili & onion) are pretty good. I just think they're overpriced compared to what I'm used to back home. Not a fan of the fries, but I do like the baked beans. I'll try the onion rings next time I'm passing thru.Sadly, they don't have 18-wheeler parking, but if you're bobtail, they can accommodate.“

“Went with family as they talk about this place a lot and really enjoyed everything i ordered the extra cut of prime rib and was slightly disappointed with the thickness thought it would be a bit thicker, and it wasn't quite to the rarity I like but it tasted amazing, this is a dinner and wasn't expecting to have it meet steak house quality but they did a great job none the less. Really recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already“

“We had our family Christmas party at Home Team Pub this year, first time at a new place in almost 15 years, with about 80 people in the banquet room. Everything was wonderful, from the planning stages to the night of the party. Diane, Christina, Anne, Randi, Mary Rose, Steve and Mackenzie (I think?) were all so friendly, welcoming and made sure we had everything we need. The even let Santa come visit and hand out presents to all the kids. The room was decorated beautifully and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!“

“Well, my phone was dead so I couldn't take pictures! BUT a great place with great pizza AND wings! We went on a week day and it was very empty so easy to get a seat and service was great! “We went out to dinner at Tavern On the Lock at 5:30pm on a Friday night. The Prime Rib is their weekend special and I ordered the King cut (but the waitress came back a little later to tell us they were already out of it?, so we switched to the Queen). My wife and I liked our meals (although she ordered the Lobster Au Gratin and it was so incredibly hot she barely touched it - even after it sat at our table for 40-45 minutes... and it was STILL hot when she put it in the to go container!). She also got the crab cakes, which were ok but she would have liked a sauce or some type of garish with it. The people we dined with had the Brussel Sprouts (which they were not a fan of) and the Mac and cheese (which I guess was also so-so). The prices were decent, our waitress was ok (if a bit unpersonable), and the food was between fair and good. There wasn't anything memorable about the meal, nor did anything wow us, but it was solid. We would probably go again if we were in Fulton for some reason, but we wouldn't go out of our way to eat there. The dinning room does look out over the Oswego River and the lock, which does add nicely to the atmosphere.“

There is a few different entrances to get into the place so that was a little confusing and there is a bunch of different seating spots and event spaces inside. During our visit we ordered and the bad and that ate at one of the 4 outdoor picnics tables. Food was average, bar tender was friendly. Prices were not bad. They have quick draw at the bar and trivia during the week on I believe Tuesday and they have music during the summary on Thursday nights.“
