“I’ve been a loyal customer of Independent for several years, ordering for both parties and the occasional pizza night. I’ve tried many other places in the area, but nothing compares. The team consistently goes above and beyond, especially when I call to pre-order before opening hours, they always make it work. The pizza is, without a doubt, some of the best in the area. Prices are fair and reasonable, unlike many other places, and the staff and delivery drivers are always friendly and professional. I highly recommend them and will continue to be a regular customer.“

“Excellent place to stop in and have lunch. Technically it’s a distillery (there is a room in the back with fancy looking equipment) but it’s really set up as a restaurant and bar. they have a full kitchen, beer, wine, cocktails as well as spirits. Nice atmosphere with both tables and a bar. Great service and a nice experience. We will be back!“

“This was my first time ordering here & I am amazed by how nice the young man was that delivered our dinner. I’m not big on pizza - (I did take a bite of the kids & actually liked it) I ordered an antipasto with onions for myself and it was bigger and better than expected. Joe called to let me know that he forgot the onions ( I didn’t even realize 😂 it was so so good) & refunded the $1. We found our new favorite pizza place & can not wait to try the wings!!!!“

“This place has the best gyros and the best fries in the area and to me it’s not particularly close. I’m a big gyro fan and have had a lot of gyros from everywhere around here. This one is the best one. Fries are always crispy and have a crunch to them. The gyros are also HUGE. They barely fit in the pita and the sauce he uses (which I’m pretty sure is homemade) is so good. Could not recommend this place enough. It’s a hole in the wall and it may get overlooked because of its appearance. DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS PLACE“

“My wife and I use to eat here a lot when we lived in Baldwinsville, NY. My wife has been eating cheese pizza with medium wing sauce on the side here since she was 14. Wings were perfectly cooked! Crispy but not too well done. The service is excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I’ve never had a bad experience. It could use a deep cleaning in the dine in area. When ordering takeout in bville, Gino and joes will always be my first choice.“

“Placed my order via DoorDash, put a note (which most places don’t allow) asking for extra saucy riggies, and to see if they could possibly add an extra meatball for my sons spaghetti and I would call the establishment directly to pay the extra charge over the phone. (there wasn’t an option to purchase separately)

“I love Wegmans so this review is a contradiction to my recommendation. My wife and I just left Wegmans (John Glenn) after spending way too much time there due to walking up and down aisles over and over attempting to find what we were looking for. This was an EXTREMELY frustrating process. People do not want to spend all day in the grocery store. They want to go in, get what they need, and get out and enjoy their day. I totally understand Wegmans business reason to change the layout around, but as a consumer, and a family that spends a lot of money yearly in Wegmans as our primary grocery store, this is nothing but an inconvenience.“

This is one of the last traditional Pizza Huts in New York, which is precisely *why* we went. It was very nostalgic and we will most certainly be returning. I understand that the reason Pizza Huts are modernizing is to make unsuccessful restaurants sell easier, but this really is a special experience that I fear won't be a thing in the future.

Really, the only bad thing about this location is the furniture, but I don't blame the owners at all. The seats are uncomfortable, but thats just because they're probably 30 years old and haven't been Upholstered since the place opened.

I highly recommend anyone who enjoyed the old Red Roof Pizza Hut experience to come and give this location a go, because who knows how much longer it will be like this.“
