“Slid in right before closing — not exactly the ideal way to walk into a wine bar. But the bartender welcomed us like we'd been regulars for years. That kind of warmth at the end of a long shift says a lot about a place.
The wine was excellent. Exactly what you want from a spot like this — well-curated, well-poured, no complaints.
Didn't get to try the food this time but it's already on the list for next visit. If the kitchen matches the hospitality, this place is going to be a regular stop.

“We went to the Applebee's in New Rochelle today. We were met by Warren who is one of the managers. He was friendly and took us to our table. We explained about a problem that we had at Applebee's at 815 Hutchinson River Parkway at the beginning of July. He apologized and said that the incident would not happen here. He then introduced us to Mariama who was our waitress. She introduced herself to us and was very friendly and efficient. She took our orders and everything came out perfectly. She stayed attentive the entire time. When it came time for the check Warren brought it and comped the entire meal and drinks. We told him that it wasn't necessary, but he insisted. We will definitely return to this establishment often“

“I had a fantastic experience here on Beekman Ave. Everything we ordered arrived perfectly prepared and tasted delicious. The burger was served in a fun checkered paper basket and the crispy fries were seasoned generously with fresh green herbs.

We finished the meal with a decadent slice of chocolate cake topped with a perfect swirl of frosting and a side of ice cream. It was a wonderful treat. I cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.“

“My wife and I arrived in Tarrytown for a family wedding too late for lunch and several hours early for an 8 pm welcome reception, so along with my sister and her husband, we decided to go out for some light eats to hold us over. The receptionist at our hotel recommended Pete's Saloon.

The vibe was a step back into the past. In a good way. It's a welcoming place -- the kind of local bar and grill where regulars gather for good food, good friends, cold drinks and (from the looks of the drum kit set up in the back of the room) some great live music.

As for the food, it definitely hit the spot. My wife had a bowl of french onion soup and I had the fried chicken sliders with a tangy Korean BBQ sauce and tater tots. My sister had the baked potato soup while my brother-in-law had the fried chicken sliders with Buffalo sauce. The beer was cold, our server Kim was intentive and friendly and the experience was a great start for an enjoyable weekend with family and friends!“

Everyone was attentive, polite, the food was hot, delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. From the initial contact via email to the clean up after the shower, Jackie was there personally to help and her staff was beyond helpful. The shower went over the time limit and we were not rushed out, but offered to stay, take our time and continue to be waited on in case lingering guests needed anything. Wings were perfect hickory sauce, so good I scraped the plate with the carrots and celery! Salad made w/ greens vs. Iceberg. The dill vinegrette complements the salad. My pan seared scallops with jasmine rice and asparagus was a delight! Not skimping on the portion > 9!!!! My family enjoyed thier entrees also.“
