The staff was great and on top of everything. And the food, the food! So good! Every one of our guests went on and on about the whole evening. In fact at least one of our friends is going to book their next birthday there.“

THIS PLACE!! After a long international flight into JFK and driving back to Boston with hungry kids, I stumbled on Da Giorgio, and it changed everything. The restaurant was packed but we were seated in minutes, surrounded by people talking, laughing, and enjoying themselves.

Our waiter was attentive, dinner started with fresh homemade baked bread and churned butter. Everything looked handpicked, fresh that day, and every dish was outstanding. My wife’s seafood fra diavolo was the best she’s ever had, my kids devoured their pasta, and my spaghetti and meatballs were so good I had to admit (sorry Mom in heaven), even though I'd get slapped for saying, they were the best I’ve ever tasted.

The chef even came out to greet guests.. a rare and special touch. I’ll be stopping here every trip into the City, and I can’t wait to dive deeper and deeper into the extensive and authentic menu. Truly amazing!“

“Phenomenal from start to finish!! We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for an early dinner. Dani, co-owner & chef, greeted us with a warm welcome. You could tell right away she had a genuine interest in making our experience special. We started out with a creamy, simple burrata that came with homemade focaccia. The bread was SO perfect. We each had salmon with Israeli couscous and broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the wine suggested by Dani. Then dessert…it was so difficult to pick just one!!! So we got three! Ana, the other owner, is the evil genius behind the to die for desserts!! Tiramisu, mascarpone cheesecake (we took it to go) and an apple cider donut with vanilla ice cream. (The donut was so absolutely divine that my boyfriend ordered a second serving!!) And can I just say the cappuccinos were on point! My mouth is watering just thinking about it all again! I hope others visit and enjoy the fabulous food, service and atmosphere at Mambo. We don’t live around the corner, but will definitely make the drive back because the whole experience was just that good. I wish Dani and Ana much success. “I order pretty frequently from Dom’s in Nanuet since I work nearby. Yesterday, when we got our order to Sloatsburg, there was an omission in the order ( we really should have checked before we left). As always, Dom’s went above and beyond to make this right. They drove my order to Sloatsburg and included several delicious extras! Their catering always makes our events delicious, but yesterday they made it extra delicious. Dom’s has amazing food and even better service.“

“My husband and I went for dinner. We had a reservation and was greeted by the hostess, Madeline, who sat us right away. She was such a delight. She checked on us during dinner to make sure everything was going well. The chef also came to say hello and to make sure everything was to our liking. It totally was!! We ordered too much food because it was hard to decide on one thing. Shrimp cocktail and calamari appetizers. So good! Each was more than enough for two people! We ordered dinner from the 'specials' menu. Hubby had the 12oz grilled ribeye... and couldn't eat it all. I ordered the beef short ribs...sooo tender! Everything was delicious, including the drinks! The servers were awesome and very attentive! We'll definitely be back!!“
