“I had one of the greatest dining experiences at this restaurant a few weeks ago. Everything I expected from a great restaurant was available here. We were greeted at the door. Decided to sit at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and professional. The menu had a ton of options. We decided to go with the mussels and skirt steak. Just amazing. Mussels with fresh and steak was cooked exactly how we ordered. The bread was so delicious we ordered twice - slightly toasted and warm and soft on the inside, perfect for dipping with broth. Sangria is perfect and very refreshing. This is the type of place I will be returning to very soon!“

The restaurant is situated in a cute town with a vacay town vibe with good outdoor seating.The food is fresh and drinks are delicious. “I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

After my ginger salad, she brought me Tuna Tataki, which was perfectly prepared and had a touch of smokiness. I couldn’t decide between Seared Salmon Sushi or the River Roll, so I ordered both. It was the best decision ever! The salmon was freshly prepared and melted in my mouth. The Spicy Tuna was delicious and had just a touch of kick, which complimented the richness of the fish. “I don't do very many google reviews, but wanted to share my experience at Madison Cafe today. I looked online and ordered a dish for take-out, noting the price of $10 on the menu I looked at. When I got there, a very pleasant guy gave me my order and charged me almost $19. I paid him first, then pointed out my concern about the price discrepancy, and was told that what I saw was a very old menu that was no longer valid. I said that the cafe should honor the price they display to the public on their website and it shouldn't be an issue for the customer if the wrong price is displayed, and asked to have the difference in price reimbursed to me. Understandably, he was not in a position to make that decision, so he called the owner, and after describing the situation put me on the phone with him. He precisely explained this issue that comes up with people taking pictures of menus and putting them on google in a way that is not "authorized" by the cafe, and that they've tried to get google to remove stuff like that, but to no avail. It's understandable how challenging this is for the business owner, and I agreed with the owner's comments about the pricing glitch. Making the decision to keep his customers happy, this fair-minded business owner said that my meal was on the house. He didn't have to do that-I was only asking for the difference to be returned to me, so kudos to this gentleman for his consideration, and I'll certainly patronize his establishment again. Thank you, sir for your gesture. BTW, the food was great!“

“These wings are delicious and I was very impressed... Usually when I bring wings home from any other spot, they're soggy. But this wasn't the case and after about 45 minutes of driving I came home and they were all crispy and fresh and the sauces were great too.... I enjoyed every last one of them....“

“We are huge fans of Peter Kelly's, but the little things need to be improved. We've gone to Kelly's places since the 90's, and are big believers, and X2O's lunch used to be the best buy in town. Like everything else the price has climbed, and it is no longer a great bargain, but it is still worth every penny at $36. The lunch menu has expanded, and even though we miss the risottos, the selection is ample, and the specials are terrific. What caused the rating to drop from five to four stars are two simple but vital things - the bread, which used to be a highlight, was very mediocre, and the coffee was weak, unusual for X2O. The food was spectacular, but the little things need to return to their usual high level.“

My husband and I are frequent weekend guests at The Tasty Table because we like the food and the way we are treated as guests. I've noticed some less than positive reviews focused on difficulties getting a table during their busiest weekend times. This should indicate to all who are interested in going to The Tasty Table of how wonderful a restaurant it is. My suggestion is to take advantage of the 30 minute call aheads that are offered. “When you travel, you seek to find outstanding restaurants. Sometimes you win, other times, you don't. The Hudson House is a great find, a winner at every turn! From our initial greeting by the owner, Matt, to the great staff who didn't miss a beat, to the most critical part, the food, there wasn't a moment of regret. We started with a couple of tables shares. We had cheese plate with 3 cheeses, homemade fig jam to die for, fresh thinly sliced honeycrisp apples, delicious grapes, and an oil-infused crustini. Perfect start, followed by the burrata and pumpkin seed salad with carmelized pears and sweet potato chunks. I didn't think it could get better after this. I tried the sweet potato and fennel soup, very warm and hearty on a cold night, and the taste was just as I hoped! A beet and farro salad with radishes hit the mark! My partner had a fresh halibut that was cooked to perfection, served on ramen noodles and baby bok choy, with an array of fresh mushrooms, with a gentle but flavorful broth, but not enough to be called soup. To me, one of the best fish dishes I've tasted in a long time. Our guests, the wedding couple, ordered duck breast confit, and hanger steak. The duck, one of her favorites, was tender, most, cooked properly and seasoned well. It was a hit with her and her mother. The hanger steak was the choice of the groom, a very picky eater. He couldn't stop reaching about how amazing it was! Sadly, we were so full, we couldn't eat dessert. All the desserts are homemade by the owner, and they sounded unbelievable. But I'll have to return another time to speak to them. Finally, ask to sit in the jail cell. The pictures tell only some of the story. It's a wine cellar, a hidden romantic getaway, a reprise of days long gone. Or have a seat at the bar with the locals. Or just come and see the beautiful tin ceiling and walls. No matter what you do here, you won't be disappointed.“

There's outdoor dining and free parking. The staff was very tentative, and our servers, Lauren and Kyle, were awesome. They menu gave you plenty of ordering options.  It was hard to decide what I wanted to eat, especially when I saw other people's orders passing me buy.  I didn't wait too long for the food.  When the food arrived, it was served steaming hot and tasty. If you dont want to sit and eat a meal, you can sit at the full bar and have a cold beverage.  I recommend you give this place a visit. “We were in Nyack to walk around before we headed back to BK and thought we'd stop for coffee and a pastry. I was hoping for a cappuccino but the machine looked like it was out of use so I got a black coffee -- not bad. What was great was the apple tart: lots of juicy apples, delicious crème patissiere, and a laminated crust. The pastries are HUGE -- the apple slice was more than enough for both of us. They have a small selection of macarons, which we didn't try, and a lot of other pastries (no eclairs, alas). Plus it seems to be a family owned business. I would definitely go back.“

I had the Pecan Crusted Salmon Baked Topped with Honey Glazed Pecans served with Caramelized Yams & Collard Greens. So good. The collards had a kick which was a surprise delicious. Our soft drink was the Carolina Sunrise Punch delicious, seriously. The biscuits and cornbread muffins again delicious. My granddaughter had fried chicken wings with French fries and a vegetable from the youngins menu she was well pleased. The server was warm and friendly lie everyone there. Our party of 4 ordered 3 appetizers, 4 entrees and had a collective total of 6 beverages and the total bill was under $200 - very reasonable for a Saturday night out $100 per couple. The restaurant is lovely aesthetically, and the night we dined there was a fabulous guitar player that just sealed the vibe. The only reason I took a point off for ambiance was that we were sat inside at the tall floor to ceiling windows that leaked rain as it was pouring outside. Our hosts were aware and of course were kind and accommodating (it wasn't so bad that we had to move but enough that they came over to ask if we were disturbed) — a leak in the ceiling is a leak in the ceiling, so I couldn't give a 5 for this particular meal's ambiance but it would not remotely deter me from going there again.“

My favorite is their onion soup which is made with a chicken broth and not beef broth making it a lighter soup but also deliciously loaded with the cheese we all love on an onion soup. The appetizers and just perfect and entrees are delicious. To finish the meal they have a Chocolate or Grand Marnier soufflé and many other desserts that are delightful.
