“I can’t believe it took our family 7 years to pick up the phone and try out the food here. With a gluten allergy in the home , Chinese food has generally been off the table . We ended up seeing a few reviews here by GF folks and decided to give the Beef Curry with Chinese veg and Shrimp Chow Mein a try . The manager was incredibly helpful and educated on gluten and so nice . I think we’ll be spending quite a bit of money here now over the years.“

“One guy making delicious authentic Chinese noodle dishes one by one in the lobby of a commercial building. There are like 3 large tables to sit at. The place is tidy. Do not expect to get drinks poured but you can pour your own complimentary tea.“

“Stopped by for a late lunch. Menu was interesting and tasty. I particularly liked that the food came to the table as it was cooked, resulting in a hot, fresh to the table meal. While everything was very good, the scallion pancake was amazing and the sweet & sour fish was a particularly nice treat!“

“I have yet to have any dish that is not great there! True Dim Sum, fresh food items made to order. Wonderful staff! Had salt/pepper squid, shrimp dumplings, shu mai, beef tripe and eggplant with shrimp! We drive there from North Country in Central NY because Syracuse doesn’t have authentic Dim Sun!“

“I was worried that after moving into the city I wouldn't be able to find a place with chinese like at home. After an exhaustive search for good Chinese, we found Chang Lung. This has been our favorite spot for 2 years now. First things first: The food here is great! I order the sesame chicken and I think its the best we've tried. No matter what time of day you call there's a good chance you'll be put on a brief hold because they are that busy. Wait time is about 20 minutes after your order is placed. 30 if its the busy hour. They do not deliver, but the food is worth the drive. They also consistently stuff the to go containers with generous helpings of what you ordered. And the food is well packaged, without leaks or spills and honestly it was so pretty when I took it out of the bag I had to take this picture of it! If your regular chinese place is 'OK', I recommend giving Chang Lung a chance. They are epic!“

“Our favorite takeout restaurant in town. Always hot, fresh, and huge portions even when I pick up late night on my way home from work.Even when I don't grab food on my way home, we will drive 20 minutes out of our way to order from here vs somewhere on our side of town.“

“I went there since I was cold and wanted some soup to warm up. The woman who greeted me was very nice. I got the wonton soup and was very happy with it. I loved the flavor and have to say it was one of me, if not my most favorite wonton soups I have tried recently. I would have liked more filling in the wonton but still very happy with it. I would order it again. It was so good that, but the time I realized I should take a photo it was almost done.“

“This is a carry-out, so don't expect a sit-down-and-dine experience. The food is really, really, really good! Our household is vegetarian, and both the previous and current owners have adapted their dishes to our needs. The veg is just fresh as hell and everything is cooked to perfection (tender, a little crisp, **NEVER** overcooked). The flavors range from "suitable for an American palate" to "Schezuan so spicy I sweat," I just need to specify when I order. The prior and current owners are really thoughtful and kind: I think this may well be the best Chinese carry-out in Rochester.I'm really glad I'm a regular - they've done incredibly well by me.“

“We had the best waitress that I have had in years. ( Savenia ) . She was polite, courteous, friendly, and most of all she knew what was on the menu . Savenia Did describe every item on the Menu ! Which was very helpful, because my wife is very indecisive . LOL . She brought out the food quickly, the food was still very hot . She knew her drinks and could recommend a very sweet drink for my wife .We would definitely go back to P.F. Chang’s in Rochester, and request Savenia to be our waitress / Server .Parking: Lots of handicap parking spots“

“The fried rice is incredible and doesn't make you feel ugh afterwards. The crab rangoon was incredible and great price 50 cents per piece with 12 in an order!!! I had the pepper steak and onion combo plate and it was incredible. tender steak ..perfectly cooked onions!!! and that sauce was out of this world!!!! The rest of my family agrees it's the best chinese food they have had in a while!!! I will definitely be back!!!!“

“As a NYC transplant I could not find a decent Chinese food spot in Victor. Until I accidentally discovered Panda!!! The food is incredible, cheap prices for the area and I love supporting a young family owned business. I have tried several dishes and am NEVER dissapointed. Run don't walk!!“

“Saying that this is an interesting place is an understatement. The entrance is a bit hidden and unless you were looking to eat here, you might miss it. Let me start by saying that this is AUTHENTIC Chinese food. Made to order, the quality is exceptional. The place seems to be run by a husband-wife team without any other employees, which is a problem, as the H-W team are also the chefs. Ambiance and service are quirky but friendly. The man came to the table and asked if we were ready to order. As we attempted to tell him what we wanted, he interrupted and said that we were supposed to mark our selections on the menu. Uh, okay. He left and we proceeded to mark up one of the menus. Upon his return, he confirmed each of the items, noting that one of the selections was unavailable. The temperature of the restaurant was cold, causing all of us to keep our jackets on. After a while, the dishes were brought to the table one at a time, with the appetizers arriving last. The portions were ample, temperatures of the items were appropriately hot and the food was delicious. My mother ordered a Coke with ice. The man said that there was no ice, but the Coke was already cold. Odd. When we asked for the check, the man brought the check and stood there awaiting our payment. Great place for absolutely authentic Chinese food. Don't go here expecting a fast meal with impeccable service.“

“I have always told him that I don't eat a lot at Restaurante Chinos, butThere are times when I go with family and they like it, so I take them. Rice is nothing I'm used to. The fried wings for me were the most I liked and the shrimp with broccoli ? in spicy sauce were good. But the dishes are very expensive, to leave without fries and soda. Very expensive.“

“We absolutely LOVE China Star! The food is wonderful, the speed of service is eminently satisfactory, and the prices are most reasonable. If you're looking for Chinese food in the 19th Ward, China Star is the ONLY restaurant worth thinking about!Kid-friendliness: The nice man that owns China Star is always so patient with our autistic Cub when she's ordering or asking questions about a menu item.“

“This place got five stars for what it is decent cheap Chinese food. If you are offended by a restaurant that has faded signs and tape on the counter, it is probably not the place for you Karen. If you want decent American Chinese food really fast, eat here. If you want Michelin Star food maybe go someplace else, always basic b's giving people bad reviews...Hey Becky, it's a take out Chinese business wtf are talking about, go back to the suburbs with your gentrified expectations...My only complaint is, I wish they had more vegetarian options for my whiny a$$ partner so I can eat here more.“

“Decent to-go Chinese food. Their place is small with 2 tables indoor, it's good for sitting while you waiting for your food, not dining. I had bbq boneless rib and general Tso chicken. The chicken is soft and spicy which I like. The rib is so so and they fill the rib box with lettuce to make it look full. Staffs are friendly.“

“Had a nice lunch there. Spicy shredded beef and Sesame chicken both with brown rice and a delicious hot and sour soup. Fairly large portions and prices were not high. I've eaten here several times and had periods when I liked it and other times not so much. Based on our last meal we will definitely return. Service was also great.“

“We walked in for a to-go order, it was very clean and not that busy. After ordering a side of rice and two main dishes as well as some egg rolls and crab Rangoon (more like coin purses) the order came to 75$, which felt like it was really expensive. When we got back to our hotel room to eat, it didn’t seem expensive with the amount of food we had. The side of rice we ordered , which was house fried, had jumbo shrimp pieces in it and was a full container. We also didn’t realize the side of rice that came with our sesame chicken was going to be a full size carton as well. For three adults we were all able to have two plates full of food and still have leftovers. The quality of the food was amazing and it’s the best sesame chicken I have ever had, my go to for Chinese food. It was slightly spicy but not super spicy and in a slightly thinner sauce than what I’m used to but it was delicious.Anyone staying in the area should definitely try this out. I am sure the lunch specials they have make the prices drop, we were just an hour late from missing them sadly.“

“The food is always great here , and it was super busy on Christmas Day! The wait time was longer than expected however the young woman at the counter was incredibly kind and handled the busyness with grace and kindness and the food was hot, fresh, generously portioned and worth the wait!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetable dishes and flavorful tofu dishes , and veggie dumplings!“

“My go to Chinese since I was a kid! My favorite dish is the simple chicken wing with pork fried rice and load it with their boss sauce on top. I also like their chicken with garlic sauce, pepper steak, and seafood delight! Not in the best of neighborhood. It has gotten it better over the years though.Friendly owner and workers. For the same cost of a combo from a fast food restaurants, I'll take this any day.“

“Picked up a lunch order of king po chicken and steamed dumplings. It was ready quickly and the order was accurate. At just under $16, I feel it is a great value for hot, delish food. I will be back.Pretty standard takeout Chinese restaurant on the inside with the faded picture menus. There is a table inside but I'm not sure if it's available for customer use or even if you'd want to use it if it was. It is a bit tight getting in and out of the parking lot. There are lots of businesses around there and Dewey can be busy. The location is what it is and it's still worth going if you ask me but you might go for delivery if that's an option.“

“unfortunately the food was not good at all! It doesn't even taste like Royal Dynasty. the flavors are off-putting and literally don't go together and the rice was mush with one canned carrot... no sauce in the bag, nothing. unfortunately will be giving them a break which breaks my heart because this WAS my boyfriend and I's favorite place!!!!“

“I'll never not go to Hong Wah as my choice of tasty Chinese food! I never have a problem. Fried Dumplings are always perfect. The sesame chicken for me is always great. I've also tried the chicken and broccoli and sweet and sour chicken. The combos are filled to the brim and I appreciate that. Always recommend this place. Covid made it semi order out only but that's never stopped us from ordering. Give it a try! They're not voted best for no reason.“

“My first trip to the new location and I was very happy with the atmosphere! The food was excellent as usual. Very fast service the food was fresh and sooo tasty! Def try the hot sauce on the table- you won’t regret it. Prices are very reasonable. I’ll def be back for more authentic cuisine. I just wish I lived closer.Dietary restrictions: They are accommodating to vegan diets.“
“First time I've ordered from this place and I'm really happy with it! Got it delivered and it arrived seven minutes before the estimated time. My food was hot and fresh and cooked perfectly. The crab rangoons were just the way I like them - the crunch to soft ratio was right on and they had good amount of filling. The Happy Family was delicious too. The veggies were super fresh. I'll definitely be ordering from New Kingdom again!“

“I got qt size (large) fried rice with chicken. It was really good. I would give them 5 stars but their location and lack of parking is very inconvenient. Only 1 car can park at their parking spot. And you have to really maneuver yourself out to get out.“

“This is a good quick place for a mid week craving for takeout American Chinese food in the Perinton area for pick up or delivery. I ordered the General Tso's chicken and a shrimp eggroll. I enjoyed both and was surprised by how good the General Tso's sauce was, the spice level was very nice. The Broccoli was fresh and steamed nicely and the eggroll was crispy. The lunch portion I ordered was pretty big for me. I can eat this for 2 meals.“
