I recently moved from New York City to Valley Cottage in Rockland County and have been searching for a real NYC-style pizza place. After trying a few spots nearby, I finally found Village Pizza in Nyack — and it’s exactly what I was hoping for!

Tony is super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The service is quick, the staff is great, and the pizza is absolutely delicious — thin crust, perfectly cooked, and tastes just like classic New York City pizza. They even have an extra-large 18-inch pie, which is a huge plus.

“We stopped here while traveling from RI to PA and WOW are we glad we did. We needed a place to accommodate our small pup so we stopped to ask if they had outdoor seating. They didn’t but they created it by carrying a table and chairs outside for us - talk about customer service! Nick was such a fantastic host - setting us up, providing exceptional service and great conversation! I also can’t forget to mention how incredible the pizza and chicken roll were! This place is a 10/10 and we will definitely find a reason to stop back again!“

“The food was very good. Everything was fresh and had great flavor. Wide selection of options so good for families. The service was not good. It took forever to get menus (we had to ask eventually) and it was almost half hour before we got our drinks and placed our order. Even more odd, we never knew who our waiter was. Normally they introduce themselves but I felt like we ordered from two or three different people. The value and quality was great. The amount of food we got for the price was enough to feed more than our table of 5. This is good value spot for big families to get an affordable and quality dinner Overall, not a terrible experience and would try again. If the service had been on par, this would've been a 5 easily.“

“We visited Luca’s Pizza for the second time today, and once again everything was amazing. Both times we ordered a large pizza and pasta, and the pasta was perfectly al dente each visit.

This time we also tried a cannoli that was filled fresh to order, and it was phenomenal. The staff is incredibly professional while still making the experience feel warm and personal. “We grew up in NY. We moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We have never found pizza that we could eat here and enjoy. (I've had pizza at Frank Pepe's in CT- I'm spoiled.) We were visiting family in Mount Kisco and stopped in for a pie to take back home with us. Best decision EVER! Wood fired- crunchy crust that held up to our toppings- sausage and mushrooms. Pizza was tangy, good cheese cover, and the crust just snapped when eaten. You made us very happy and we will come back again when we are in the area. “My coworkers and I always get a large hot honey old fashioned pizza with hot peppers and hot honey and they always do an amazing job. They also make a great penne alla vodka , amazing garlic bread etc , at Micheal’s they cater to your preferences. I don’t eat pork or beef and they have always gone that extra mile to make sure im covered. If it’s from Micheal’s I’m sure it’s good! Def 10/10! The food is great and so is the service ! Basically it’s a pizza dough roll with cheese and a pizza topping - I had one spinach pinwheel and one pepperoni. And each pinwheel comes with a generous side car of tomato sauce.
