“I had their pizza once, after being unimpressed with one of their competitors -- and now I'm a Mario's fan for life. Pizzas are generously sized, prepared with an abundance of toppings, and reasonably priced. The pizza is so good, I haven't explored the menu much. But they also sell ricotta cheesecake a delicately flavorful, mildly sweet, lighter-textured cheesecake. Genuinely Italian.“

This is the kind of old school pizza joints both my wife and I grew up going to in the 70s and 80s. It is perfect! Place your order, get your drink out of the coolers by the door and have a seat.

Went there last night (Saturday at about 8PM).

The staff is fantastic and friendly. Probably 5 guys there working and constantly doing stuff. Wiping down tables, cooking and restocking yet a very loose atmosphere. They all seemed to take a lot of pride in the place and we're having fun. Seemed like a very tight crew and a well oiled machine of a business.

We dined in.

My wife ordered a pizza (cheese and black olives), our daughter got spaghetti with tomato sauce and I got cheese ravioli with same sauce. Garlic cheese bread to share. The pastas also came with a basket of bread. Yes, a lot of food so be prepared. It was all FANTASTIC.

This place really rocks! Prices great too!

Vegetarian options: It's a pizza place. Has salads and pastas too.

Parking: Look on the map. We were there on a Saturday during August. Parked for dinner with no issues. We were in town shopping earlier in the day and parked near there as well non problem.

Kid-friendliness: There were little kids there when we were there.

The food was hot and ready to go exactly at pick up time. I've also had the boneless wings and the outside is really crispy and delicious and they even reheat well!“

“Hyde Park pizza place has very good pizza more often than not. Wings were a hit but now they are overcooked. This past Sunday however I ordered BBQ chicken pizza and when I arrived 30 minutes later, they all didn't know where my pizza was. They asked if I wanted red sauce on my BBQ chicken pizza. And to top it off they had just put it in the oven. I will never get pizza on a sunday from here again. Very unhappy.“

“End Cut has been our spot for special occasion dinners here and there, but tonight was a little different. On 1/26 I called to make a reservation for tonight, and to no surprise, I could not for the life of me remember if I made it for 7 or 7:30. So Michael called yesterday and unfortunately our reservation wasn’t on the books. They were completely booked but squeezed us in for 5:30. We had one of the best meals in awhile - mushroom cakes, a porterhouse for two with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese, key lime pie and two drinks each. The porterhouse for two was $115 alone.. and I have zero clue what the whole bill was because Chef Jordan took care of our e n t i r e bill. We declined many times but they insisted, so the next best thing I can think of is to recommend the heck out of a place that not only cares about their customer’s experience, but does everything 11/10 from drinks to dessert. “I'm an RN, and work for the on call team at Hudson Valley Hospice. I cover Ulster County, and some evenings are very busy. On busy evenings, I only have time to stop for a bite to eat. Whenever I'm visiting patients in the Kingston area, I stop at (and look forward to) Picnic Pizza for a few slices. Nice people, and the best pizza around!“

“Stopped in from out of town after the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome event and was glad we did. The place needs some curb appeal and it’s not a big place but they have seating. We ordered a small thin crust pepperoni and sausage pie ($17 including a bottled drink) and was it was done quickly. Needless to say it was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it. I would definitely stop in again if I’m ever in the area. (Btw I very seldom do reviews but I had to this time).“

“I have to go back another couple of three times at least until I can get to taste it all. Mid-week and it was packed. A bit too loud for conversation but I don't talk with my mouth full of fabulous fresh made gluten free pizza, thick chewy crunchy crust ( not the frozen one every other place uses) whipped ricotta cheese and fresh basil. The house well is stocked with good choices. One note is that because of the crowds frozen cocktails are pre-made so you can't pick your rum.

“Wonderful tender tasty pizza crust with perfect amount of cheese and sauce on the pizza. Guys behind the counter are really nice. Small spot to sit in can get clogged with kids from school across the street, but relatively manageable. I love their mushroom pizza because they use canned mushrooms (I know, not a popular choice but it's what I like). I bought a pie to bring home with me when I left Kingston this weekend... It's that good.“

“I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check. Last night I came in and was told the kitchen was about to close so I needed to hurry up (I just sat down at about 9:25 pm). I ordered right away. An ice water and a coke and a meatball parm sub. I was lucky to get my soda with her attitude. No ice water was brought or acknowledged at all. I took a few bites of my food and she asked if I wanted a box. I was really irritated. If they told me to go only I would have been fine. But the way I was handled made me angry. I ate quickly and left. If I choose to get something again , it will be to go. Honestly, Caitlyn is the best server there. She is five stars. The others are not worth a dime.“
