“Located in Tangram mall, this Matcha Cafe Maiko location is a great stop for a sweet treat. They have a couple kiosks where you can order at, and service is relatively quick considering how popular it can get.

They have a variety of matcha and other Asian drinks and cold desserts. Every month, they also have specialty flavors. When I went, I got their matcha and lychee parfait while my friend got their matcha soft serve. The parfait had so many different kinds of toppings and the portion was generous. Love their soft serve and I will definitely be coming back. (Their quality is also pretty consistent across locations!)“

The service at this location is great. Friendly and efficient, even when the lines get long during peak summer hours. The ambiance is very relaxed, but just keep in mind that there’s no seating, it’s strictly takeout.

I’m especially partial to the Lilly with Nuts. It a uniquely New York flavor that Teresa captures so well. Although I’m not from the neighborhood, it certainly worth the trip. During one visit, I was fortunately confronted by a warm tray of freshly baked miniature sfogliatella sitting in parchment paper. I can still relish the experience.
