“We stopped by BreadsNBakes in Pound Ridge for some pastries and a simple question — did they sell King Arthur or another high-quality flour for a sourdough starter? Kate not only took the time to chat with us, but actually disappeared into the back for several minutes and returned with a container of starter for us to take home. She treated it like no big deal, but to us it was such a kind and thoughtful gesture — the sort of small-town generosity you don’t often find in larger cities. Kate went above and beyond, and we left not only with a starter, but with a big smile and a genuine appreciation for her warmth.”

“123sourdpugh is truly a gem in Pound Ridge! The bread is absolutely amazing — real sourdough with the perfect balance of taste and texture. You can tell right away that they use high-quality ingredients, and every bite reflects the care that goes into making it.

Beyond the bread, they also offer incredible matcha, delicious sandwiches, Asian-inspired bites, and other tasty products that make it hard to leave empty-handed.

On top of that, the people who work there are incredibly friendly and kind. For me, that says a lot about the place: when employees are proud of what they’re selling, you know the product is something special.

If you’re looking for authentic sourdough, unique treats, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere — this is the spot!”

“I very seldom order take-out - but I tried LaFamilia for pizza when they first opened in Pound Ridge - and was not impressed. However, a few weeks ago I found myself without side dishes for Sunday dinner - and I ordered salads, broccoli rabe and a few other items and they were excellent. Last night I ordered two entrees and they were outstanding.”

“My boyfriend and I went to this place for dinner. I have to say we had one of the most delicious meals ever. We started with the Tuna Carpaccio and a dozen Oysters on the half shell. The Tuna was beautifully presented and delicious as were the Oysters. We had huge hot popovers served with a honey butter which were mouthwatering. We also tried the Crab Cake which was one of the best I have ever had. The Crab was fresh, and the tarter sauce was very light and didn't over power the Crab, For dinner we decided on the Roasted Chicken with watercress and the Butter Brown Spinach Ravioli. They were both amazing and the presentation was absolutely exquisite down to the garlic shaves on top of the watercress. For dessert my boyfriend had the Chocolate Sorbet and I enjoyed the Toasted Almond Ice cream as well as the fresh baked cookies with milk. I couldn't have asked for a better ending to the meal. The Ice Cream and Sorbet were delicious and the freshly baked warm cookies with milk were scrumptious. Everything was homemade and you can tell how much love goes into the food here. The server we had Mae was friendly, smiling all the time, very attentive and made our time there so nice. A special thank you also to Kerri Casso who is the Service Manager there. I know her from her previous job and Kerri is the reason we tried this place. She checked on us several times and made sure we were happy. Thank you to Mae, Kerri, Sunny and everyone there who made our meal enjoyable. We can't wait to come back!”

“What a great place! I got take out today: garlic naan and butter chicken. A treat, with delicious, flavorful chicken and a cream sauce that was not overpowering, but just right in the use of spices. As an aficionado of Indian food, this is truly delicious food. The restaurant is immaculate and decorated beautifully. Five stars, given without hesitation. Treat yourself and go there!”

“Cenadou is the best restaurant in Westchester. The presentation of the food is delicate and carefully designed creating beautiful presentations. Each dish has scrumptious seasoning and fresh quality ingredients. The staff is always welcoming, warm and attentive. I have never been disappointed and love this restaurant.”

“Tandoori Snapper = 😋 & 🔥. Beware, a bit more spicy than you might be expecting. Whooooooaaaoaa! It has a very nice flavor though, so you will keep smashing your face in pain. If not good with spicy, tell them light spice possibly. I would order again, just be prepared with extra ice.

“Used to go for lunch at least twice a week when I worked in Stamford… for 15 years straight! Since I moved out of the area, literally ANY time I pass through Stamford (or even a half hour from it!) I stop for that incredible salad of theirs. There’s nothing like it, covered in feta, Gorgonzola and onions, with that perfect house dressing. It’s simply the best and remains my favorite salad ever!”

“We are relatively new and now converts to La Famiglia. Pizza is delicious, perfect combination of tangy flavorful red sauce and cheese. Margarita is perfection. And tonight we had a 1/2 tray of eggplant parm. My sister in law and I, both lifelong lovers of the dish, agree one of the best we have had anywhere! Delivery prompt and time promised; friendly smile!”

“Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy.
