However, a few weeks ago I found myself without side dishes for Sunday dinner - and I ordered salads, broccoli rabe and a few other items and they were excellent. Last night I ordered two entrees and they were outstanding.“

“Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. Thank you for restoring our fun Thursday evening with no COVID fears.“

“Parking: We love Oscars and have been here a number of times. Each time introducing someone else to the delicious food and cocktails, friendly, profession service, relaxing atmosphere.
As for parking, we have been lucky every time to get a perfect spot. The restaurant is located with other business’ around it. We have dined, not at peak hours so we were fortunate to find a close spot each time.
Overall Oscars is our first choice of restaurants at only 8 miles from home. We will be returning often.“

“I used to eat here often because I worked in Katonah but after moving away and a gap of about 30 years, I went back to this place for a late lunch with my family. Wow did it deliver! The perfect weather didn't hurt as we ate in their cozy outdoor pavilion but the things under their control were also perfect: a very personable and knowledgeable waiter, plates served sizzling hot, some of the best pesto you'll ever taste, salmon done to a chef's kiss, a heaping bowl of risotto chicken, all followed by homemade chocolate mousse that I seriously don't think can ever be beat. You better believe I'll be back, and it won't be thirty years!!“

This place has a nice ambiance that would be perfect if the music volume be turned down by half. And the music selections were completely inappropriate. Rather than a shouting pop singer, how about something mellow and romantic - much more fitting for the “ Italiano” feeling of the place. Luckily, we went early and there were very few people. By the time we left, it had filled up and the noise level was so loud that my husband had to put on his Bose ear protectors.“

“I ordered Chicken Marsala and the chicken was raw. I did not notice until I'd already eaten a bit. I called the restaurant immediately and the man who answered had a very hard time believing that the chef who's been there for 30 years sent out raw chicken. I sent pictures to him. No reply. I am very sick today. I called the restaurant this morning and explained the situation again to a much nicer man who at least apologized and said he'd have a manager call me shortly when they got in. No manager has called. Nicks Pizza made me sick, refused to believe their chef sent me raw chicken...and I gave them plenty of time to make it right. With their lack of response or even care for this matter, I feel I now am left with no other choice but to post this review of my experience. I've been sick all day and have pictures of the pink/translucent chicken I ate from here to prove it. I am a long time customer however will never be back.“

Salads came quickly and were good but it took a VERY long time to get our main course. My veal dish was very tasty but they skimped on the vegetables. Didn't have dessert because it took so long.“

The restaurant is absolutely stunning and has the same menu we know and love. You can’t go wrong with any of their homemade pasta dishes or pizza, and you could make a meal out of their appetizers, like Italian tapas style. The short rib was cooked perfectly in our risotto, and the bolognese sauce for my pasta was delicious. Fantastic drinks too. Servers were very attentive and food came out quickly.
