“I absolutely loved this diner, the food was undeniably delicious, the service was amazing and warming, and the atmosphere felt really comfortable. The workers were really amazing and were great with providing things you needed or wanted (I had some toast with breakfast and they asked what flavor of jelly I like, they were amazing and provided my favorite jelly). If you’re in the area I definitely would recommend that you visit it to give the worker and diner the love and support it needs. To those who worked today in the diner, thank you very much for the amazing food and service. The food was all around delicious and I loved my short time there, thank you for an amazing breakfast and a great start to my day. ☺️P.s the coffee was amazing, it was the best diner coffee I have ever had.-Kaitlyn AckermanParking: Plenty of parking spaces.Kid-friendliness: Amazingly kind workers.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to enter, makes it easy for those who use a wheelchair.“

“Had to run an errand nearby so thought we'd stop for dinner. Greeted at the door by waitress who said we could seat ourselves wherever we wanted, so went to dining area window seat away from the bar. Got menus and took drink order right away. Both of us were looking for fish dinners, so ordered those, 1 with fries and slaw, other with cup of clam chowder and slaw. Was pleasantly surprised with the size of the "cup", I've had smaller bowls! The chowder was excellent, lots of clams, potatoes and hint of smokiness from either bacon or salt pork. Would definitely order the chowder again. Fish dinners came right after and there were fries on both plates, which we didn't expect, but had said something about sharing and apparently waitress asked kitchen to split them. Nice touch, and good service. Fish was very fresh haddock, crispy coating and quite tasty. Homemade tartar sauce and good coleslaw took it all the way. Can only imagine watching a sunset from this spot in summer, so we will be back.“

“The owners are friendly, personable people that will get to know you (and your order!) quick. They have breakfast sandwiches, a wide variety of cookies, cupcakes, and ice cream in the warmer months. They do catering with cakes and the like, as well. It's a small place with not much seating, but you don't really need it if you're on the go. My go-to is a sausage, egg & cheese with a hashbrown on a plain bagel, a diet Dr. P, and a cookie (aka the Student Special for $9-10). They also offer day-olds for $1, a real steal. Support a local Cortland business and go get some Frosted!“

“Stopped here on the way to the eclipse in Upstate NY. The food took a little long to come, but the waitress apologized and told us that it was much busier than usual (probably other eclipse seekers). The many Hollywood pics and Marilyn statue were a nice touch. The food was very good although a little pricey for the pasta and broccoli that my wife got (I think $15). I got the haddock sandwich. I would recommend it.“

“Amazing restaurant! 2 day trip in the area and couldn't help but eat dinner there a second time after the first night. They were busy both night but very accommodating. Owner/manager heard my name once and called me by it the entire evening, even remembered the second night! Could not recommend a place more. Amazing food, amazing staff.“

“A hidden gem! Great food & drinks and an even better vibe. Everyone is friendly and welcoming with the best part being delicious food. There is always an option for gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, and even things for kids. They have an amazing selection of every course. Delivery and takeout is an option as well. Weekly specials and live music along with football games PS there’s an AirBnb above the restaurant open year round.“

“Okay. Here’s the deal…. My wife and I drive I-81 between Virginia to the Canadian border A LOT. if we are anywhere north of Harrisburg looking for a good meal, choice #1 is Remlik’s in Binghamton…. But it is rarely open when we are driving through. A close second (and always open for lunch and dinner and in between) is Dasher’s. Great food at good prices in Homer, NY. Everything is great. A few special dishes…. The pate is extraordinary! When we’ve gone for a longer sit-down dinner, I love the Tomahawk Steak, but everything I’ve ever eaten there is excellent. Just a couple minutes off the interstate and fast enough service that it’s barely longer than fast food, but it’s way way better.“

“What a lovely find just outside of Cortland for parents looking for a relaxing but tasty dinner option. Great wings and the poutine would make Canadians proud. Very friendly service and no waiting on a Friday night. This has definitely become our go-to dinner place for move in and move out weekends.“

“On our way home from viewing solar eclipse. Found this wonderful restaurant in Homer on way home. We were seated immediately. Waitress was extremely attentive considering how crazy buzy the place was. Food was excellent. Highly recommend the Firecracker Scallops if you like spicy. Food very fresh. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.“

“Excellent food, excellent service. It was busy when we sat and we left alone (we both like that when at a new place). I had the Cajun and tiger wings. Cajun wings where perfectly done, but just a little too salty for my liking (only negative about the meal). Tiger wings we're just amazing with chilli with pineapple glaze. Prime rib was perfect.“

“Back in my hometown, I used to go to Friendly's with my grandparents and my cousins almost every week, but the Friendly's closed down was I was around 9. So, to say I was excited to see a Friendly's here when I started attending Cortland would be an understatement. The food is extremely nostalgic for me and always manages to make me reminisce on my childhood“

“The new French toast platter was absolutely amazing, we enjoyed the banana walnut and the chocolate covered strawberry French toast. The only disappointment I had was there was too much chocolate not enough strawberry. Otherwise very delicious, sorry no pictures as I was too into the food to stop to snap a picture“

“I have tried all of the local establishments multiple times for wing night, and Mountain View is the winner. They beat the others because they have: consistent taste- fresh oil, and tasty sauce; best deal for your dollar- .50 per good sized wings; and good, timely service. Enjoy!“
