“One of the best kept secrets on Purchase college campus! The bragels were fresh, the bite was bouncy, the toast had crunch. This is the perfect bagel--bounce to the crunch! The staff who was working today 11/28/23 should be commended. They were helpful and welcoming and made my day brighter. I got the hot daily blend medium roast coffee which was tasted AMAZING. Except I think I had a faulty lid because coffee was spewing out of the cup and onto my fingers ??. Just wash your hands after touching any of the equipment since college kids pick their noses and don't wash their hands. Not to mention the soft cream cheese filling shmeared into the bagle was good.“

It’s not fancy, but they’re the best bagels around and they’re not the most expensive either. The ladies work very hard. you don’t know that they have to fulfill some very big orders in the morning which take a lot of work. It’s very hot in there from the oven so some days they’re just drained. They don’t have the energy almost to smile, but believe me, there’s such sweet ladies. Sometimes you have to give people a benefit of the doubt. It’s not an easy job believe me and now they take credit and cash and I go early in the morning and I have the hottest best bagels and the spreads and other things are very good. yes it might seem expensive but you’re paying for the service and the convenience. “I really liked PopUp Bagels! I will say it wasn't what I was completely expecting so just know before you go that if you want butter or cream cheese or any of those add on's you have to buy their tiny tubs of them so I opted to only get one. They are incredibly fresh, you just go to the side window and they give them to you fresh out of the oven. The bagels were great!“

The scallion cream cheese had the perfect tang and herbal kick, complementing the lox beautifully. I also grabbed a cup of their Oreo pudding—rich, sweet, and creamy without being overly heavy. “Perfect location with a municipal parking lot next to the cafe. GCBC bagels are as close to the bagels I grew up eating in Forest Hills. They are soft but slightly chewy. Perfect texture! When I go early in the morning after they've taken them out of the oven, I don't even ask them to toast it. Sometimes I have to wait in line because they're busy but that's a good sign. There are regulars who come every morning and read newspapers while having their bagels. It's a neighborly place with excellent bagels.“

“This is constructive criticism, but when one of those white girls makes my sandwich i immediately know that the sandwich is going to be mediocre. No matter how many times you tell them “TOAST THE BREAD” they don’t listen. Especially when it’s a hot sandwich, by the time you get home the sandwich morphs into mush & it’s a soggy mess. Very disappointing.“

“Excellent bagels made in store. This shop is very popular with locals. Lines at peak times. I rated atmosphere at five because it’s possible to speak with other locals at tables and chairs (5 tables and 15 chairs including a single table and chair next to a south facing window -great sun trap on a cold morning). My favourite is an everything bagel with cream cheese toasted and coffee.“
