“Came tonight because I felt like having something that tastes like “home” and I definitely got that here. I ordered stew chicken with fried rice and it was very tasty. The chicken was falling off the bone and seasoned well. The fried rice was cooked well also and complimented the stew. The complimentary steam cabbage was crispy. The woman serving the food was very friendly, even while dealing with a line. I would recommend this place. Gonna go back myself to scope out the roti 😂“

I was passing by and I decided to go in and check them out first of all if you were looking for like homemade Guyanese fried rice then definitely go there. It’s so yummy. It’s a little on the spice side but very yummy. I also tried the bubble tea and it was amazing for a small restaurant, the white pudding is also very good and fresh. Definitely check them out.“

Drinks were okay but not strong enough. Has to ask for an extra shot to take away the sweetness.

“Fazila catered our Guyanese Hindu wedding at Crest Hollow Country Club.

Her restaurant prepared traditional Guyanese 7 curry along with vegetarian appetizers and dishes like vegan fried rice and chowmein.

We also catered pone for our henna night.

Fazila had great customer service. She knew I was nervous about logistics of serving 7 curry at a non Guyanese venue and she spent several meetings both in person and at the venue finalizing operational details.

She advised on the correct amount of food and introduced us to items that we didn’t previously consider like sweet plantain for the appetizers and ambrosia salad for dessert. We had the appropriate amount of food and variety! She ensured we spent our money wisely.

Overall, she was a joy to work with during this planning process.

Now the most important part, the quality of the food - it was delicious!

When my husband and I finally sat down to eat we were so delighted to eat the 7 curry that tasted homemade and had the right amount of pepper.

Our guests told us that they enjoyed the food a lot, even our guests that flew in from Guyana!
