“Delicious, well executed dishes. Had the cilantro beef stir fry (ordered extra spicy - and it was! 🤗), and the black mountain ramen - both were excellent. You self order at the kiosk, which worked great, and the food came out promptly. Highly recommend!“

“This is an amazing restaurant with great pricing. Their miso ramen is really flavorful and the ramen was cooked perfectly with a perfect chew. The egg has a creamy yoke, and I really like how they charred the chasu to enhance the flavour. I've been to so many other restaurants that don't do this and the char just adds a nice touch. The food came out really quick too and the service was really speedy. As soon as I started eating they took away our trash and wrappers and while we were eating they topped up our water when it was half empty. The restaurant is well designed too and fits the vibe of the food they serve.“

“The tonkatsu ramen here is absolutely incredible

The broth is made in house, they have my favorite style of noodles with are straight noodles

The chashu is by far the best i have had, it was so tender that it fell apart in my chop sticks

And unlike most ramen restaurants, their chashu is made in house

The look of the chashu is unique compared to any other ramen place I have eaten at

I had to drive 50 mintues to get here

But I am coming back because I really want to try their Tsukemen ramen

“A must try place in the new world mall food court. I’m surprised it isn’t talk about much. Their udons were nice and chewy and the broth was delicious. I got the udon with the beef and tomato and it wasn’t spicy. The tomatoes were surprisingly sweet and juicy I’m definitely going back here next time“

“I got this ramen delivered so can’t comment on the atmosphere, but it was quite good and a pretty reasonable price. I got the spicy miso ramen and it was very flavorful. It was not very spicy unless you drank a lot of the broth and got a clump of spice all at once. One thing to note, if you do get delivery, you will need your own chop sticks or spoon because that was not included.“

“I'll try to keep this to the point —

I gave Food/Service/Atmosphere 5 🌟 because they were on par for me. For a local spot, this really took me by surprise.

What I ordered:

Miso Soup:
Standard Miso Soup, nothing groundbreaking, but very tasty. Would have loved a tad more tofu & scallion, but that's just me.

Salmon Avocado Hand roll:
Not the hand roll I expected meaning it wasn't in the cone shape I'm familiar with, but it came presented like a taco with the seaweed as the shell. Salmon cuts were huge, and with great colour, avocado was bright & ripe, coupled with the perfect amount of rice. Everything tasted clean, and fresh.

Yellowtail Jalapeno Nigiri:
I messed up with this, originally I wanted a sushi roll, but my brain flubbed. Great mistake though, because the yellowtail was delicious, practically melted in my mouth, topped with a delicate cut of jalapeno on top.

Love Milk Tea:
Honestly, just a really delicious milk tea topped with osmanthus flower. It was light, refreshing, and not too sweet thankfully.

Wagyu Tataki:
Tataki is meant to be briefly seared on the outside, but the center remains raw. Was this seared to the degree I wanted? No. But, was it delicious? Yes. And the meat was incredibly tender, flavour of the sauces really complimented everything on the plate.

I finished off with a matcha cheesecake to go, I'm sure it'll be good.

With tip, I spent $67

Again, for a local spot in Richmond Hill/Kew Gardens, I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied. Personally, with slight adjustments, these folks would do great in midtown. I spent a little under what I would spend at a restaurant in the city, and got an incredibly satisfying meal, and left full.“

“Awesome decor and excellent food! We stopped here for lunch on a weekday. Everything was delicious. Decent sized establishment that sat 6 people. A lot of the seating is private so you’re on top of other patrons. One of the most memorable decors you’ll ever see. Highly recommend this place!“

“Come check out the Star Cafe! My cousin recently visited here and said his order was the "chef's kiss" - not to mention the ambiance and friendly service the staff provided! The price might be high but you definitely get your money's worth!

“I had Ramen here I can't recall the name of it it was the 1st 1 on the menu I had the one with the pork belly. When I say phenomenal, I mean it! The taste was amazing in this soup Just wish the noodles weren't so tangled made it a little hard to eat. Very quite relaxing location. “AMAZING! The food and service was great. They have one of the best grilled chickens and summer rolls. The price compared to other pho places is much cheaper, with the portion size much bigger than almost all of the pho places I’ve been to in Queens. The summer rolls is something that you must order. The rolls are great in size, after eating summer rolls at this place for the first time, whenever I went to a different pho restaurant, I always have to order summer rolls. BUT every time I order summer rolls from another restaurant I am ALWAYS disappointed. The summer rolls at other restaurants are extremely small, when I say EXTREMELy small, I mean one summer roll at pho choice could be like 10 at another location.“
