Five varieties of prosciutto to choose from and extremely sharp aged provolone and parmesagna are the real deal. Long serving deli staff are friendly and attentive, knowing their customers and their preferences. Around the holidays the deli has all the traditional Christmas foods especially panettone galore! The tops of the shelves fill with hundreds of Italian panettone of many elegant varieties: limoncello, hazelnut, pistachio, latte, nutella, even gluten free ppannetone. Prices are a little higher than surrounding import markets but not unmanageable so. This deli is a treasure of Broadway and a perennial favorite.“

“I was visiting friends in NY, and on the day of my return to FL, my girlfriend took me to Panino Rustico, where I met JACK, he was excellent and authentic New Yorker, with accent and all (adorable).. The menu choices are excellent, we had truffle fries, I had the P48 Panini (steak, mozzarella with peppers & onions) and to cap off as a desert, I had the Iced Nutella Latte... All were excellent. I love a Hot Panini and it was perfect, flavors were cheesy perfect. Even the ambiance was charming and the Service was impeccable. I truly cannot say enough. So when you go, say HI to Jack!! “I ordered a sandwich and a juice from them yesterday . The Sandwich was pretty good , but the juice that I ordered wasnt even filled close to the top , and in no way 24 oz. And there wasn't even a trace of ginger in the juice . The juice was still good though, but I really like the ginger spice which I think they just forgot to put any ginger in so that was a little disappointing. But overall good“

“It's relatively clean.small. not a big dining area. In fact the countertop is against the window. Not too busy the 2 times I went to lunch on the weekend. I ordered online. Food was ready. No major issues. Food is the same across the board. Being nitpicky, they didn't have mozzarella cheese. It's not a deal breaker though. Online subway deals make it worth it as well.“
