“I had an extremely poor experience at this place. 1. We were given old menus with outdated descriptions and pricing. 2. My pulled pork was filled with bone and cartilage (see picture for the inedible portions I pulled out of the food). It was nearly every bite. 3. For some reason there seemingly is a half-eaten / broken watermelon slice on each dish. 4. I advised the waitstaff and their resolution was to provide me another plate. Why would I want more bad BBQ? 5. Restrooms were poorly attended and lacked essential items. This left my friend stranded in an unfortunate situation...which I found hilarious. The people in the parking lot saw recognized my frustration and indicated their dinners were horrible as well. For two of us, the bill was $57.00. A better use of that amount would be two travel down the road about half a mile and buy some cokes and beef jerky from the local tractor supply store.”

“I DO NOT recommend this tasting room. I really wanted to like it here because we love going to breweries and trying different things. I went with my sister and my mother this past weekend and it was very busy. There were two older gentleman working and we understood that it would take some time which we were okay with. at one point one of the gentleman asked if we'd been waited on yet and I said no, but that I understood they were busy. However, after we were asked this (we were standing directly in front of the one man) him and the other gentleman proceeded to wait on 3 other groups of people that came in after my sister and I. I was so pissed off/disappointed that we decided to just leave. it's too bad because I would've loved to spend my money there, but felt very much like the whole experience was completely uncalled for.”

“This is a foodie's paradise! Simple but sweet atmosphere. Chef Andrea creates food for the soul, and Liz presents it in a prefectly balanced friendly, attentive manner. This was an unexpected treat! The food was creative and delicious, while the service was literally perfect. I felt like I went to a friend's house for dinner and a Michelin chef showed up to help! Kudos ladies! I highly recommend and look forward to coming back to Lake Placid, because this is the first place I will visit! Thank you both!”

“RiverTrail Beerworks made our evening after arriving in Saranac Lake late afternoon to find out the ice castle was returned back to Lake Flower yesterday and that is what we planned to visit. We came across RiverTrail BeerWorks on the internet and saw great reviews so decided to have dinner there! It did not disappoint! IPA beer, our meal, and dessert all were delicious and our server was very knowledgeable and attentive! Our evening was perfect! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We will be back with family and we are not locals!”

“Great coffee, friendly staff, great view. Only downside is that the seating is very limited, at least in the winter (for about 7-9 depending on how comfortable two people get). Not sure if there's more seats on the porch in the summer.

Not a shop I'd choose for leisurely reading/writing/relaxing beyond getting your coffee and going. But worth a detour for the coffee.”

I want to give a huge shout ot to Ms. Laura she is such a beautiful person and top notch all the way around. She did such an amazing job keeping our rooms up and just made us feel so special.
