“My wife and I had dinner here this evening. The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. When we were waiting to be seated one waitress look like she was having a bad evening. She ended up being our waitress and when she came to the table she was Friendly and smiling. I can say Ashley is definitely a great waitress and very friendly.”

“I wanted to make sure to leave a review for an order we placed Oct 2025. My daughter got married at a gorgeous lodge in Jay, NY. This is about a 35-40 minute distance from Tail O the Pup. I had been in touch with the owner months ahead about a delivery to the lodge immediately following the ceremony that day to feed about 25 people. Communication was excellent. When the day came, I believe that the owner (I’m sorry it was a busy, emotional day and I did not get your name) lacked a delivery driver and drove the food to the lodge himself. Like I said, that would have taken him well over an hour round trip. The timing was perfect and as promised. The food was plentiful, very good, and enjoyed by all. He even threw in some extra coleslaw for free! We thank you for making our day stress-free and enjoyable!”

“I was traveling for business in the area. My Brisket Sandwich was wonderful. Staff and owner were great. Place was clean. One suggestion season the Mac and Cheese, it just a little bland. I did not ask for extra sauce to season anything. But great place. Very tasty food and your outdoor smoking area is one of the best. Hope this place stays open and I will be back again.”

“Bluesberry Bakery was absolutely adorable in the morning and hit the spot. The chocolate croissants were a must, especially warmed up. We tried the raspberry scone, blueberry muffin, and a morning cinnamon apple bun and every single one was a hit. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. They had a wide selection of bakery items that all looked amazing. While it’s definitely more of a bakery than a coffee shop, the coffee still delivered. I ordered a maple latte on the less sweeter side and they nailed it, plus they offered dairy-free options. I would absolutely return.”

“Cute small town vibes. Our waitress was very nice. Our food was fantastic. I got the hash and eggs. I was expecting your typical corned beef hash and was pleasantly surprised when I received real pieces of corned beef in hash browns. I am a condiment queen and this tasted so good I don’t even touch the ketchup. We will be back in January for sure.”

“We went here for Christmas dinner! And boy! It was the best Christmas dinner we’ve ever had! The ambience was cozy and rustic and the food arrived quickly. The sauce of the Thai Chilli Shrimp was delicious and the prawns were fresh. They were kind enough to accommodate my customisations into the Salmon dish. I replaced the salmon with sea bass and it was absolutely amazing! To end it, we had Tiramisu and it was maybe one of the best Tiramisu’s we’ve ever had! We left extremely happy from here. Highly recommend!!”

“Our party of six stopped in last night on our way back to Tupper Lake from Lake Placid. Our kids and their friends were especially hungry from a day on top of the mountain and they thoroughly enjoyed their pizzas and tacos. My wife and I enjoyed our Mojitos and Cure NEIPAs. Our fried chicken sandwich was perfectly flavored and the chips and queso were an amazing start. As co-owners of our own brewery, we were especially pleased with the level of service at each encounter (hostess, bartender, waiter, server, even the person who sold me my shirt). I also architect nerded out over the design of the place and the perfect use of the site. Being from NJ, I was pleasantly surprised at the somewhat urban scale /vibe to a place I never suspected to have one . We will definitely make this our stop every time we pass through. Five stars!”
