“From out if state and visiting for a few days.

This is the kind of old school pizza joints both my wife and I grew up going to in the 70s and 80s. It is perfect! Place your order, get your drink out of the coolers by the door and have a seat.

Went there last night (Saturday at about 8PM).

The staff is fantastic and friendly. Probably 5 guys there working and constantly doing stuff. Wiping down tables, cooking and restocking yet a very loose atmosphere. They all seemed to take a lot of pride in the place and we're having fun. Seemed like a very tight crew and a well oiled machine of a business.

We dined in.

My wife ordered a pizza (cheese and black olives), our daughter got spaghetti with tomato sauce and I got cheese ravioli with same sauce. Garlic cheese bread to share. The pastas also came with a basket of bread. Yes, a lot of food so be prepared. It was all FANTASTIC.

This place really rocks! Prices great too!

Vegetarian options: It's a pizza place. Has salads and pastas too.

Parking: Look on the map. We were there on a Saturday during August. Parked for dinner with no issues. We were in town shopping earlier in the day and parked near there as well non problem.

Kid-friendliness: There were little kids there when we were there.

“Stopped in from out of town after the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome event and was glad we did. The place needs some curb appeal and it’s not a big place but they have seating. We ordered a small thin crust pepperoni and sausage pie ($17 including a bottled drink) and was it was done quickly. Needless to say it was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it. I would definitely stop in again if I’m ever in the area. (Btw I very seldom do reviews but I had to this time).“

“I've eaten at the Four Brothers in Pleasant Valley and was not at all impressed. But I did order a dinner there. This time we ordered a pizza and I have to say it was very good. The crust was on the thicker side and slightly chewy. I thought it was very good. We ordered half pepperoni and half cheese only. I prefer the pepperoni but that's just me. For pizza, it's very good. Can't comment on any entree“

“I had their pizza once, after being unimpressed with one of their competitors -- and now I'm a Mario's fan for life. Pizzas are generously sized, prepared with an abundance of toppings, and reasonably priced. The pizza is so good, I haven't explored the menu much. But they also sell ricotta cheesecake a delicately flavorful, mildly sweet, lighter-textured cheesecake. Genuinely Italian.“

“I just discovered this Gem. Food is great. Small and more simple items. Perfect for a lunch at home. Take out. Employees are very welcoming, personable, helpful. It’s one of my new favorite places. I do have to say i was a little disappointed that they dont have balsamic dressing or glaze. HOWEVER< THE ITALIAN dressing makes up for it. It was so good i wanted more and more salad. The Greek salad is very flavorful with every bite. AWSOME PLACE TO EAT“

“We had a memorial luncheon and got some items from CJs: the meatballs and ziti. Everything was really great but everyone was raving about the meatballs especially. The food was hot and ready to go exactly at pick up time. I've also had the boneless wings and the outside is really crispy and delicious and they even reheat well!“

“Hands down,best pizza in town. I usually stay away from pizza up here as I come from the land of pizza. This is hands down the best pizza up here by far. They make good hero's too.
Don't forget a Cannoli on the way out.

“I have to go back another couple of three times at least until I can get to taste it all. Mid-week and it was packed. A bit too loud for conversation but I don't talk with my mouth full of fabulous fresh made gluten free pizza, thick chewy crunchy crust ( not the frozen one every other place uses) whipped ricotta cheese and fresh basil. The house well is stocked with good choices. One note is that because of the crowds frozen cocktails are pre-made so you can't pick your rum.

“The food is always fresh, consistent and large portions. The owner and staff are super friendly. Tony will make you anything you ask for. A must try.“

“Wonderful tender tasty pizza crust with perfect amount of cheese and sauce on the pizza. Guys behind the counter are really nice. Small spot to sit in can get clogged with kids from school across the street, but relatively manageable. I love their mushroom pizza because they use canned mushrooms (I know, not a popular choice but it's what I like). I bought a pie to bring home with me when I left Kingston this weekend... It's that good.“

“The Stone Pony catered multiple meals for my company offsite over the course of 2 days and the food was amazing! People could not stop raving about the food we had, even now that the event is over. They were very communicative, timely, and professional.“

“I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check. Last night I came in and was told the kitchen was about to close so I needed to hurry up (I just sat down at about 9:25 pm). I ordered right away. An ice water and a coke and a meatball parm sub. I was lucky to get my soda with her attitude. No ice water was brought or acknowledged at all. I took a few bites of my food and she asked if I wanted a box. I was really irritated.
