“Just the best Mexican food In NYC“

“A rare 5 stars from me. Make sure you find him, he's in a row of random food stalls and is a bit nondescript compared to them.

Price is now $10 for falafel sandwich but still the best value meal in all Manhattan. Very generous with the fillings, cutlery and napkins etc and he also gave two pieces of fried dough with it which was a nice surprise.

Drinks priced very reasonably at $2 each only.

This stall practices all-in pricing so the price advertised is what you get. Hats off to it“

“Wonderful service. Courteous and professional above all and friendly to boot. The Food is delicious and with the added lunch menu of tacos is an extra delicious treat. During this Pandemic it's comforting to know we can depend on them fora quick & tasty breakfast . Supporting them during these trying times is extremely important as well. “It's going to sound like I know this guy but I don't. I go to Halal guys, but the smell from this truck just got the best of me. All 3 sauces, the rice, the veggies... STELLAR! The line wasn't unreasonable, there were about 5 people ahead and I still got my food within 15 mins. Honestly, this is one of those plates of food you take a cab for.

“Adam makes the food with love each and every single time I order from They're restaurant. There has never been a more astonishing time to be a resident of the state of new jersey. The first time I ate chicken and lamb over rice I ascended to become a greater life form and my credit score is now over 100. The falafel here is rumored to be made out of plutonium.“

“I’ve been coming here for a long time, and this used to be one of our favorite halal carts. We would regularly drive in from Long Island with groups of friends and family, especially for the falafel, which was always outstanding.

Unfortunately, since Hamza left, I’ve noticed a significant decline in both the service and the overall quality of the food. The owner has always been friendly and seems like a genuinely good person, so I’m not sure exactly what’s changed behind the scenes, but it just doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Today we came as a family, and there were three new employees working. It was pretty clear they weren’t happy to be there, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. We did have a larger order, but in the past that was never an issue—we were always greeted warmly and appreciated as customers.

I’m leaving this review because I genuinely want to see this place succeed. The food and service used to be exceptional, and I hope they can get back to the standard that made so many of us loyal customers.“

“We first heard about Tony’s on Jon Barr’s YouTube channel (prepping for our first NYC visit). Can only say that this is the perfect spot to get food, and then go eat it in Central Park.

Both times we visited the food was great, staff was very friendly & we received our orders within a couple of minutes.

“I visited Yummy Tummy bakery for the first time today, with five other friends of mine to support a Black-owned business during Black History Month. The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. The sweets themselves were absolutely delicious. The fruity pebble cupcake particularly was the perfect amount of sweet, moist, and airy. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d definitely recommend you stop by!“

“Best flat white I've had in NYC!

The story: I've traversed many bougie coffee spots across the city (for the record, many cannot make a proper flat white), over 40 different individual roaster/cafes at this point, and these guys shocked me.

I often bring my own china mug as it's more fun (and a higher chance of a proper flat white, volume-wise) and walked away surprised at Danny's knowledge... which then also came through the cup too.

Days later I'm sat in their manhattan store trying their espresso by Sean, it's just as good. And found out Danny serving in the 'lowest' position in the coffee cart (full respect) on a remote corner of LIC is in fact Deploy's humble owner.

Guys, thoroughly impressed. Thank you for finally giving NYC a flat white. Have had some incredible other cups in all the secret and well known spots. Yours wins, and not by a small margin.

I'd add a photo but I snuck the coffee into the library (also a win for visitors).

“One of my favorite halal spots in queens. Food and service is impeccable. Even though I got a salad platter they still threw in some rice so you won’t go hungry. Chicken and lamb are amazing. Perfect amount of char and still tender. They also usually give out a free sample of falafel which is cooked and seasoned perfectly. They also cook it in an oval shape so it’s a bit more crispy as opposed to the circle ones. Must try and always get extra white sauce and hot sauce. Food is hot, fresh and comes out quickly“

“Have my regular halal spots but decided to give this place a try on a whim last night. Ordered mix combo over rice with white sauce and green sauce. Pretty tasty, good portion, good prices. Shoutout to the chef, they’re cooking with care.

Zaki is also very friendly and I watched him even come around the counter to open the door for one his customers leaving with a scooter. Good owner mindset and customer service, puts him and his shop a cut above a lot of other spots. Place is also clean with seating to eat. Recommended.“

Sometimes the chicken pieces have a weird texture or could be grilled a bit better. But that might be a personal preference thing. Fries are really good.“

“I came all the way from Long Island to Rego Park, and while passing through I spotted this hot dog truck and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! The hot dogs were AMAZING. I ordered the chili cheese dog with onions and mustard, along with a sauerkraut dog with mustard, and both were absolutely delicious. “Royal Grill Halal on 44th & 6th Ave is a true Midtown gem (I've worked nearby for 30 years). He’s the nicest vendor you’ll meet and the chicken and rice is incredibly flavorful and fresh, with generous portions and speedy, friendly service.
