“we sat outside and the place is very clean and well kept. server was excellent and very nice. my BF ordered the burger and i ordered the fried chicken plate. it came with a delicious carrot salad on the side and honey to dip my tenders in. sooo delicious! im not big on chicken tenders but this plate was well worth it. the burger was a big size also“

“Ok I dig this place. It is homed in an old gate check building at the entrance to this address. As you approach you will see the signs. It is very small. You walk in and will see the large menu board on the wall. To the left will be the register and the kitchen area. And to the right will be the 2 tables you can eat at if you wish and they are free.

This is not a place to plan to sit down with a large group and eat. It seats maybe 8 people. And often people get their food to go. This shouldn’t stop you though.

I came in after I donated blood up the street at the Local Police Union. I was hungry and wanted a big burger. On the board I see the Buddha Burger.

This burger has 3 beef patties, three slices of cheese, a round ham slice similar to what you’d get on an egg McMuffin, and bacon.

I added banana peppers, tomatoes, and pickles.

The burger patties are not hidden behind a super high fat content which I love. If these burgers were 80/20 I’d be very surprised. It keeps the flavor of the meat without drowning it out in grease. I was worried that the burger taken to go with three patties would soak through the bun but it did not.

When I got home I could see this thing was big. I opted to cut it in half to make eating it slightly easier. You can see the photos below.

“Reunion of a few hockey players from the 1970's for lunch today . Our waitress was Molly and she was (Johnny on the Spot) from ordering to getting refills on our drinks . We were very pleased with the Tenders , French Onion soup and the Burgers ! Even the popcorn was great . The $11.99 lunch menu was perfect . Molly was one step ahead of us whatever we needed and it cost us about HALF of what we paid at Distillery on our previous lunch .

“I personally love Wimpys, and would rate them 10/10. I occasionally stop by for a Cheeseburger Plate, and they have several delicious and customizable options to choose from, so you can mix and match. Their staff is so friendly.“

“We planned a special dinner party for ten with the expert help of Mariel, who accommodated all our requests in advance. It was delightful to work with her. Sarah was our server that night and she paced the evening perfectly, with care and enthusiasm. The dining room was busy with a happy vibe throughout the restaurant. “Really disappointed in our order tonight. Chicken fingers had a stale chemical taste. Hot meat sauce made my cheeseburger plate inedible as it was strikingly hot from previous experiences on plates. Bacon burger also had an odd taste. Not sure what the deal is as this is not the norm for our experience there.“

“We recently had a delicious lunch here. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. It was lunch time so my hubby and I split the fish fry dinner. It was a good sized meal! The fish was huge and cooked perfectly. The cole slaw was so good and the gave you a decent amount, too. All in all, we will visit here again.“
