“This was our first time trying The Gate House and we were impressed! We came on a Thursday afternoon with no reservation and were seated right away. Our server was prompt and attentive immediately and continued through the duration of our meal. We tried the Xerox pizza as well as the Duffy burger and both were 10/10! Absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend!“

“Moo’d Burger Bar is an amazing spot! Each burger my group got was phenomenal. I got the 585 burger which I would highly recommend if you like garbage plates. The garlic fries as a choice of side was a good addition to the meal as well. After our meal we had to get dessert since that is what this place is truly known for and it definitely did not disappoint! Their ice cream desserts are second to none in the area and I would go again just for that.“

“Ok I dig this place. It is homed in an old gate check building at the entrance to this address. As you approach you will see the signs. It is very small. You walk in and will see the large menu board on the wall. To the left will be the register and the kitchen area. And to the right will be the 2 tables you can eat at if you wish and they are free.

This is not a place to plan to sit down with a large group and eat. It seats maybe 8 people. And often people get their food to go. This shouldn’t stop you though.

I came in after I donated blood up the street at the Local Police Union. I was hungry and wanted a big burger. On the board I see the Buddha Burger.

This burger has 3 beef patties, three slices of cheese, a round ham slice similar to what you’d get on an egg McMuffin, and bacon.

I added banana peppers, tomatoes, and pickles.

The burger patties are not hidden behind a super high fat content which I love. If these burgers were 80/20 I’d be very surprised. It keeps the flavor of the meat without drowning it out in grease. I was worried that the burger taken to go with three patties would soak through the bun but it did not.

When I got home I could see this thing was big. I opted to cut it in half to make eating it slightly easier. You can see the photos below.

“Reunion of a few hockey players from the 1970's for lunch today . Our waitress was Molly and she was (Johnny on the Spot) from ordering to getting refills on our drinks . We were very pleased with the Tenders , French Onion soup and the Burgers ! Even the popcorn was great . The $11.99 lunch menu was perfect . Molly was one step ahead of us whatever we needed and it cost us about HALF of what we paid at Distillery on our previous lunch .

She was the only one there and she worked so hard Not only taking every order, but cashing everybody out and making everybody's food and packaging it up.She definitely deserves recognition or even a raise. I've been to other Burger King locations where they had plenty of workers and the food did not come out in time or was not fresh.Not only did she make my order correctly, my food was hot and fresh and she was very kind about being the only employee there.“

“The food here is really good, among the best burgers I've had in a fast food place. And, of course, more fries than you need. The prices are getting a bit high though, like everything else. I just make fewer trips here because of that.“

“Little Venice has always been my go to pizza joint in Rochester. Today there was a mistake on the pizza I ordered (i ordered the wrong toppings) but I spoke to the guys and they helped sort things out, getting me the right pie and the original.

Their pizza is delicious and as someone from the city, it is some of the closest pizza to reminding me of home.“
