“Shared a pizza and a salad on a date night out. Salad wasn't the one we originally ordered but it was okay. Pizza was solid. Unique area. (Village Gate) Service was excellent. If we weren't in a hurry we'd probably have reserved early and ate at standard table instead of the higher chairs near the bar.“

“Reunion of a few hockey players from the 1970's for lunch today . Our waitress was Molly and she was (Johnny on the Spot) from ordering to getting refills on our drinks . We were very pleased with the Tenders , French Onion soup and the Burgers ! Even the popcorn was great . The $11.99 lunch menu was perfect . Molly was one step ahead of us whatever we needed and it cost us about HALF of what we paid at Distillery on our previous lunch .

“Ok I dig this place. It is homed in an old gate check building at the entrance to this address. As you approach you will see the signs. It is very small. You walk in and will see the large menu board on the wall. To the left will be the register and the kitchen area. And to the right will be the 2 tables you can eat at if you wish and they are free.

This is not a place to plan to sit down with a large group and eat. It seats maybe 8 people. And often people get their food to go. This shouldn’t stop you though.

I came in after I donated blood up the street at the Local Police Union. I was hungry and wanted a big burger. On the board I see the Buddha Burger.

This burger has 3 beef patties, three slices of cheese, a round ham slice similar to what you’d get on an egg McMuffin, and bacon.

I added banana peppers, tomatoes, and pickles.

The burger patties are not hidden behind a super high fat content which I love. If these burgers were 80/20 I’d be very surprised. It keeps the flavor of the meat without drowning it out in grease. I was worried that the burger taken to go with three patties would soak through the bun but it did not.

When I got home I could see this thing was big. I opted to cut it in half to make eating it slightly easier. You can see the photos below.

“Really disappointed in our order tonight. Chicken fingers had a stale chemical taste. Hot meat sauce made my cheeseburger plate inedible as it was strikingly hot from previous experiences on plates. Bacon burger also had an odd taste. Not sure what the deal is as this is not the norm for our experience there.“

“We've gathered there with friends on two occasions recently. Both times the waitress was very attentive and accommodating - separate checks were no problem at all. We reserved tables ahead of time. Live music was great & the guys could watch the football game while we all chatted! Great selection of beer and wine!! A fun gathering place! We'll def be back!!“

“I love this place. I love these people. I live in the south but I have been wanting to order the famed garbage plate for years. I called ahead because I realized that I was going to arrive two minutes after closing (I drove a long way to get there). They took my order over the phone. For a couple of bucks more they added a couple of hot dogs to the plate. Best hotdogs ever. Fantastic! amazing! It's a long drive but I am already planning my next trip back. Just go there.“

“We recently had a delicious lunch here. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. It was lunch time so my hubby and I split the fish fry dinner. It was a good sized meal! The fish was huge and cooked perfectly. The cole slaw was so good and the gave you a decent amount, too. All in all, we will visit here again.“

“I absolutely love Bill Gray’s and I moved away six years ago. I was so looking forward to my cheeseburger, onions and hot meat sauce. We got six meals to go. All that ordered meat sauce did not have any when we got home. I was crushed. Good thing I have a much love for Bill Gray’s to forgive this huge oversight that really disappointed me.“

“I got off my closing shift next door and didn’t have anything to eat at home so I decided to stop by shake shack. The wait in line at the drive through was a little long but I didn’t mind since it was late. Got to the window and the man at the register was so kind. He asked me how my day was and gave me a discount when he learned I work next door. We chatted while he applied the discount and ended up giving me a free sandwich coupon. He was so sweet and it really made my night. The burger and fries I got was good too!

About a week later I ended up back there (this time dining in) and the cashier/manager recognized me immediately and helped ring me out. Once again he was really nice and he even remembered that I’m a college student. The chicken sandwich I got was nice and crunchy but also juicy and I love their fries. I got their Yule Log holiday shake and it was fantastic. One of the workers was going around the dining room and interacting with everyone and was also very sweet!

A little pricey for a college student, but the workers are all very nice and the atmosphere is lovely. The food isn’t instant-fast but it’s great.“

“Bill Gray's in Irondequoit is definitely worth the experience. Is been quite a while since I went there, last summer for a milkshake is a matter of fact. I ordered the great plate this time. She had a smile that was infectious when I first walked in. She was patient when I changed my order 3 different times! She was just such a lovely person to talk to! She was the only one there and she worked so hard Not only taking every order, but cashing everybody out and making everybody's food and packaging it up.She definitely deserves recognition or even a raise. I've been to other Burger King locations where they had plenty of workers and the food did not come out in time or was not fresh.Not only did she make my order correctly, my food was hot and fresh and she was very kind about being the only employee there.“
