“Last December, We traveled from PA just to visit this restaurant for my husband's bday. We visited Brooklyn again this year for the NYC marathon and low and behold, this place was only a few stops away on the subway. And I owed my hubs a lunch anywhere he wanted to go because I lost this year's NCAA basketball pool, so here we are. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. Nothing by our home compares to it. Oysters, lobster rolls, beer, friendly knowledgeable service. We hope to visit again soon. This is the best lunch we've had all year. ❤️❤️❤️“

“10/10! Super friendly staff and everything was delicious. I went in anticipating oxtails but they were out, so I opted for jerk chicken, Mac and cheese and rice and peas. Literally the most flavorful rice and peas I’ve ever had! Mac was tasty and well seasoned and the jerk chicken was the perfect blend of tang and spice. I looked forward to having leftovers but ate the entire plate in one sitting. Will definitely be back :))“

They graciously adjusted the reservation at short notice, gave us a fantastic booth, the atmosphere, service and the food were all superb! The pre theater menu is a terrific value with high quality options from the regular menu-the lobster bisque, filet, and desserts (10 layer carrot cake and warm butter cake) were all delicious. I get the impression that locals regularly come here for the impeccable service (I watched the team expertly watching every detail from the sidelines and they immediately noticed and addressed everything). “Love this place, can't visit as often as I would like since I moved out of Bk, but every so often I take that ride just to get it! The fish is so fresh. I always get the fish and shrimp combo. The shrimps are huge and the fish melts in your mouth. You can get it steamed or fried and with a variety of selections. Definitely recommend! You won't be disappointed.“

“Me and my mother went to get some pizza yesterday (9/27/25) and we were welcome by the owner and he explained all the different flavors of the pizza and they all sound so good. While we were waiting, the owner gave us free cookies and he gave us an extra slice of pizza and when we ate the cheese and BBQ chicken pizza, I felt like my spirit was leaving my body. Make sure you go here and you will be loved and left in shock of the atmosphere and the love of the staff that will keep you coming back! “I love Chickin Box! My boyfriend and I order takeout from here at once or twice a week. Consistently delicious food. Some of our favorites are the wings - we usually get lemon pepper, hot honey, or bbq. You can’t go wrong with any of those flavors - all very good ! We always get the sweet potato fries when we get wings. We also usually get the soul rolls which are a must have here . Some of our other go to dishes are the lamb chops with a side of asparagus , the shrimp tacos, or the Rasta pasta with salmon . Overall I would definitely recommend Chickin Box the food is deposit and fair priced . I want to try dining in next time.“
