I recommend my favorite, which is a chicken sandwich with the rotisserie chicken on hero bread with the lettuce, tomatoes, onions, jalapeño, mayonnaise and avocado. After searching and realizing El Rey is 8 blocks away i stopped in and decided to give them a try, i am certainly thankful i did, the food is seasoned just right without being to strong, the service was very fast and courteous, and not to mention the prices are great . i usually order the roast pork(Pernil) with white rice and beans on the side with an order of sweet plantains , and it would cost me almost 40$ at the old place i ordered from , this order was half the price i paid and was so delicious, they have a great selection , and the staff is great , even the delivery is pretty fast i only suggest confirming the address before hanging up, as they had my address wrong and my delivery took 45minutes, once it was corrected i get
my deliveries in about 15 minutes!!! hope you enjoy as much as i have , this is my new go to spot!!!!“

I ordered half chicken half steak on Spanish rice with a country club Frambuesa Raspberry soda. The bill came to about 15 dollars with tip. They deserve more!

The food was delicious. Chicken was tender and marinated in a flavorful broth. The steak was similarly tender but had additional peppers and onions and other flavors that made it stand out. The rice was full of flavor and really could be it's own meal.

The service was exceptional and the woman at the front desk was very thoughtful and stepped through all the dishes they had to offer while giving great suggestions.

The atmosphere was good to. This is not a fine dining experience, but a local spot for and by locals. I could tell the people that team the business and the patrons of it were friendly and that created a really warm atmosphere.

I recommend you try this place out of you are even curious about Dominican and Spanish food or just want to support a local business.“

“The food is acceptable but what I liked the most was the sweet plantains that I bought for my whole family. I have given it many chances and I kept buying it but it doesn't improve. It tastes horrible. The bananas are sometimes semi-green, not sweet at all, without any flavor. and they make the pieces smaller and at $5 I wouldn't mind the price as long as it was delicious but it isn't like that I hope they fix it“
