“Real gem in the Rosendale area. Came for brunch, the drinks and coffee were great but we especially liked the food. Pancakes we’re a favorite, the style is very unique and unlike any other pancakes i’ve had. The Le Benny and Tartiflette we’re also delicious.”

“Stopped in here when I was real hungry and driving back from the Baseball Hall of Fame... food was great... I'd be back if I didn't live on opposite sides of Dutchess County.. if I walked more then 100 ft I'd be in Putnam/Fairfield County..

But my curiosity got best of me.... this plaza looked familiar.. Then I saw Fanns on side of building . I remember my friend got his first couch from Fanns Furniture back in 1990. Funny thing couch never made it to his new apartment he moved into... he had it in back of his pickup.. and on way back to Croton. We got stuck in a tremendous thunderstorm.. cover blew off the couch.. and by the time we got to his apartment his couch was ruined... Fanns refused to take it back.... so we just thru the couch in the Dumpster at his apartment..

“My wife and I ate there for the first time. Food was very good and plentiful. Service could have been a smidgen better. Waitress was nice and polite but should have checked at least once for drink refills. I tried to make reservations for my car club to come there on a given Sunday and time in May, about 10 of us, but was told they don't do that. I guess it's first come, first serve for seating. We want to eat together and would arrive about 1:30PM. I thought we could secure the back room, but no was the answer. It's ok. I understand. No hard feelings. If we were in that area again, we would eat there. We'll just look for another place in Rosendale. Best wishes to that facility.”

“Visited Garvan’s today for the first time for a late lunch in the Pub. We started with Mexican Street Carrots. So delicious! My husband had the traditional Irish breakfast and I had the lamb stew. Both meals were excellent. Wish we could have had dessert, but we were so stuffed. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. We’re looking forward to visiting again.”

“Stockade is the coziest bar in town. The lighting, seating, music is all great. I love the pretzels, pickled eggs, and other bar snacks. As well, they make great drinks and have stellar service. A Kingston institution”

“I could scream this place is so good. Went on a totally random whim looking for something nearby and holy hell this place is incredible in every way and if I lived anywhere nearby I would basically move in.

The vibes are amazing - such highly curated art and seating from intimate booths to living room sofas and chairs. There’s tons of varied seating up front and then more tables and a wraparound bar in the back. It feels like a cozy 70s basement bar in Greenpoint.

Then there’s the food, omg. We tried the deviled eggs, fried chicken, brisket nachos, fries, and kale salad. All were 10/10. And cocktails were also delish.

Fave new place and will seek it out at all costs any time I’m upstate.”

“Their turkey hoagie is one of the best sandwiches I have eaten in maybe my entire life … add pesto and you will be in heaven. Takes a little while to actually get your food so sit back and relax and stay a while. Theres a pool table and arcade games in the back, very chill, kid friendly - no table service (order at the counter!)”

I had the absolute pleasure of coming to Anna et Pierre this past week while visiting a friend, and since then no coffee I've had has compared to the one Gigi made (seriously, you 100% must get Anna's Mocha Latte!!). My friend had already hyped up the coffee (and the kind people) so my expectations were already high, but the second I stepped into the door they were blown out of the water! The cafe itself is super pretty with the atmosphere being light and airy, almost all of the tables were filled with patrons either working or chatting, and we were greeted by two smiling faces behind the counter. Gigi immediately turned her warmth to the two of us and started up conversation, while Dade impressed me with his knowledge on all of the cafe's menu items and their specifics. I ended up getting Anna's Mocha Latte (which I still daydream about) and a raspberry jam filled muffin. Every sip and bite was to die for. My friend and I sat and enjoyed our food and drinks for a while before we sadly had to leave, but we ended up going back several days later. Gigi greeted us again with a smile and remembered my name (impressive after only meeting me once!), and I got an iced hazelnut latte and a raspberry jam filled croissant. Both were just as amazing as the previous choices.

I will now forever and always recommend Anna et Pierre to anyone I meet. Their customer service skills are top notch, genuine, and evident the second you pass through the door. Add-in their amazing quality beverages and pastries (at prices that won't hurt your wallet!), then you have on your hands an absolutely one-of-a-kind, magical place. You will not regret coming here... and then coming back again and again!

“THE BEST CROISSANTS I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Seriously just amazing! The veggie quiche is so flavorful and the crust is buttery and flaky! The croissants are huge and also buttery and flaky. The texture and taste are both matched for the best around! Even better then ones I’ve had at popular bakeries in NYC. This spot is a hidden gem! Don’t sleep on this place! Their hospitality is out of this world! They have great prices for their chai lattes as well! I’ve been coming every day on my lunch break for a large iced chai latte and they only charge me $5.50! It’s just amazing and Starbucks doesn’t have anything on this place and their chai lattes and pastries!!”

“100% recommend novellas! We just recently celebrated our wedding there and we had the best. Time. They made the entire wedding process so easy for us, with menu items, decor, timelines, everything. You name it, they did it! Bryce, Chloe, and their entire team were so helpful and kind. So willing to step up to plate, and the food was DELICIOUS. Super affordable and convenient as well, and they answered any and every question they had. Our special day was made even better thanks to the wonderful work of their staff and the beautiful scenery of their venue. My guests and family were overjoyed and welcomed happily by all of them, and I’m incredibly grateful! This place has become like family, and we’ll be back as often as we can now because of their professionalism and kind hospitality! Thank you guys!!”

“Located in the Stockade part of historic Kingston, this cheery restaurant has a great ambiance, with 2 large dining rooms and a full bar. On a cold and snowy winter Sunday, our group of 4 enjoyed cocktails and some snacks while touring the area.

The cocktails were awesome - we had 3 specialty margaritas (black and gold) and a Fig and Honey Martini, which was very sweet.

The appetizers were a hit or miss: wings were ok, the flatbread with prosciutto and fig wasn't to our liking but the thai shrimp were good, but I was surprised the dish only had 2 skewers of shrimp.

Overall a nice lunch. Very friendly service. On a Sunday, there weren't much choices for a meal in the area midday.”
