“Just have to give a quick shoutout to Hard Bean on Merrick Ave. Victor and his wife Elise opened 10 days ago just north of the train station. My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.“

“Excellent cafe with tons of space, great drinks/food and friendly service. Sometimes they fall into the same trap as other cafes in Flushing though, and play the same few songs on repeat for hours. Last time I was here they played the same small 60’s playlist for 8hrs straight. No exaggeration. Get ready to hear “Build Me Up Buttercup” 25 times. So bring headphones if you plan on staying a while.
Heads up to management too, the bathroom here is consistently a mess. The garbage can foot lever is broken so apparently everyone is just throwing paper towels on the ground. A new garbage can would remedy this.“

“Best matcha I’ve ever had was from this shop! Berries and cream matcha is a must to fuel my walks. The staff is so friendly, service is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect to connect and interact with neighbors in town. I’m always excited to see what new seasonal drinks they will come up with next. Also ladies, you know it’s a women owned business when you use their cute restroom. It’s all in the details. IYKYK! Highly recommend!“

“This place made my day! I recently moved to LI from Flushing where has tons of great bubble tea stores. I had been searching for an authentic bubble tea spot in LI for a month until I found this one! Their milk teas are so creamy and rich of taste. Their fruit teas which I ordered most of the time are so dense in tea fragrance suggesting they use very high quality tea leaves. That tea fragrance keeps lingering in your mouth and refreshes your mind with every sip. Their lychee green tea is a must try! If you are searching for a great bubble tea spot just like me, you should definitely check out this place.“

“Just went to Greek City Grille and ordered the chicken souvlaki platter with lemon potatoes. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and the lemon potatoes were absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and the place was so clean and decorated beautifully. Will definitely be coming back!“

“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

The staff is incredibly friendly—they not only remember your name, but they also remember your order, which adds such a personal touch that’s hard to find anywhere else.
The space is spotless—immaculately clean and always tidy. It’s clear they take pride in every detail. There are often delicious samples out to try, and every one I’ve tasted has been outstanding. Whether it’s a traditional Greek pastry or something new they’re testing, it’s always fresh and flavorful.

“Great place for crazy cookie flavors, a little pricey and other than the everyday flavors the specialty flavors are more expensive. If you join their club you get a FREE cookie for your bday but only the daily flavors, specialty ones are not included and they should be, after all if it's your bday you should be able to pick what you like. Even though cookies are pricey they can be worth the try because I feel this is not a daily place but a nice treat once in a while.“

“The food is absolutely delicious, and it is well priced in light of the good portion sizes. We ordered 3 soups, 1 of each kind that they offer. Wow, they were each *incredible* and we can’t wait to go back for more. We are very grateful that this restaurant exists and is in the neighborhood! “I was referred to NY SPINE CARE by my Neurologist and my PCP almost 4 years ago as I was in utter agony for 24/7 and didn't know where to turn to receive help and relief from the perpetual pain I was experiencing ad nausea. I was unable to get out of bed, sit up for any length of time and when I tried to get up, this feat was like climbing Mt. Everest for me. All seemed lost. The life I lived was completely negated and I was truly lost and at the end of my rope UNTIL I began receiving treatments from Dr. Han. My life came back in increments and my capabilities were back!!! I couldn't believe how much better I was feeling and functioning. I hope to never have to not be able to relinquish my treatments. Dr. Han is outstanding and I cannot sing his accolades enough. Choosing NY SPINE CARE was one of the best health decisions I have made.
I also want to acknolodge how wonderful Sunny, Nestor, Alfie and the entire staff is for their help, patience, assistance, knowledge, care and support during every procedure

“It was a wonderful experience , considering it is my first time. We had to wait a few minutes to get our table for 4 but that’s okay! The employees were super nice and went out of their way to pull and extra table for us. I loved the authentic atmosphere. The lighting, decor, and the overall feeling of the restaurant was great! And amazing food. My family loved what we ordered and the matcha cheesecake for dessert was so good! Compliments to the chef!
